Purchased a Gen 3 to use for outdoor activities for our youth events. The microphone port was defective. I returned it and they emailed me back and said that "yes" they could see that it was an issue and sent me another one. The whole process took a couple of weeks. Received the replacement and the microphone port still doesn't work. Reached back out to support and after a couple of days received a response "The microphone is designed to work with Gen 2 but is unfortunately not compatible with Gen 3" with an offer to exchange for a Gen 2. I responded back and asked for this to be done and questioned why there was a microphone port if it wasn't designed to work with one. This was 2 days ago and I have not heard back from them regarding the exchange. My window of time to return was getting near, so I decided to return it for a refund.
I will say that I am disappointed in the Gen 3 and the delay in response from support.
Our family owns (2) Gen 2's and are completely satisfied with them.
