I am writing this letter in regards to canceled flight by (Turkish Airline). I planned and bought this ticket a long in advance from Mashhad to Toronto, Canada for date September 25th, 2019; however, a few days ago, I received a call regarding flight cancellation from travel agency. After their explanation I immediately contacted Turkish Airline in Mashhad, Iran. They told we have to apply through Turkish airline website. To inform you, this devastated my plans as I planned and I had to pay $270 penalty for a day hotel cancellation. I would appreciate to reimburse all the damages that I have taken.

I had a flight with you on 07/08/2019 from Manchester airoprt - istanbul-Amman.

On my my flight from Manchester to Istanbul, there was 4500 pound in an envelope and 250 jordanian Dinar in another envelope in my hand luggage .

When I board the plane, the compartment above my head was full, I spoke to the airhostesess who took my bag and put on the oppisite side comprtment 2-3 seats ahead of mine.

My wife noted that when the lights turned off, many staff was opening and closing the compartment repeatedly.

When I reached home the 2 envelops was gone.

I spoke to lost and found in manchester and istanbul and amman and no body found any thing, I spoke to Manchester airport who had looked the CCTVs and found no interferwnce with my luggage.

The money is my savings in 6 months abd stealing them left me in distress and debt.

I would appreciate you help.

My partner and I were due to travel to Tokyo from Dublin via Istanbul on the 19/09/19at 16.30. The flight was cancelled at 18.00 and we were brought to a nearby hotel. We were told Turkish airlines would be in contact. We received no contact from the airline, this is a breach of our rights.
After great difficulty, through ringing the Turkish airlines helpline, we managed to have our flights rerouted to fly out for Dublin on the 21/09/19. We had to make three phone calls to confirm.
We were flying to Tokyo to the World Cup rugby match. We have missed out on Ireland vs Scotland. We have also had to pay for two night accommodation.
There has been no correspondance from your company. All correspondance has been initiated by ourselves . We have received no apology from the airline.
We are entitled to €600 each in compensation.
The disruption in our travel itineraries has caused significant futhur costs that has been incurred by us; two night accommodation in Tokyo and two rugby World Cup match tickets.
This incident has been of great stress and disruption to us and we expect to be compensated in full. Please contact us via email: [protected]@gmail.com

Due to your unprofessionalism. Of giving a word and not keeping. And due to the irresponsibility of the airline. And turkey visa did not give me a permission to enter. I would expect that a transfer of my flight from Turkey to Montreal. From turkey to Toronto. I was expecting a manager when I called to explain my situation. But a manager was not there to support any employee in a matter of fact the customer service told me you have no manager. If not I expect the ticket to be refunded. Because I took the advice of one of your employees. But it was not appropriate. ( she told me when I changed my flight date that you can enter turkey). This fact was not true and Turkish airlines is responsible for this action.

Dear turkish airline, i am dr shahedah . I am not satisfied and disappointed with this airline which i consider now as a low class airline., which supposed to be the last to choose after this.
I took a flight from turkey to nice for my bussiness meeting, tk 1813, 8.30-10.30, i notice our baggage which we check in, were all wet. 100 percent wet. Like being thrown in the swimming pool. To make me feel very angry is all my bussiness meeting, paper, inside all wet. I cant use it anymore. And all my dress 100 percent wet. What is your problem with your service. You shouldnt take passenger money if this is how you can perform. Dear all, dont choose this airline. Sorry or apologise is not enough. Better protect your self and your belonging before things happen like me.

Purchased a ticket from Montreal, Canada to Delhi, India. Ticked it purchased from turkish airline's website. On the way back to Canada, there was stay of 19 hours at Istanbul airport in Turkey. I was informed that a hotel is provided for accomodation if the stay is longer than 12 hours. I called ahead to know if I, with my two kids, will be accomodated at hotel. once arrived at hotel, no hotel was provided. Just tossed between different sections of the Istanbul airport, but no one provided help.

The staff at the gate, who was checking the passports and passes was extremely rude. I kindly asked her employee number and she replied me rudely that she can't share it. However, I was able to find out her name through his team members who is ILKNUR OZAN. I'm afraid she is unsatisfied with her position and perhaps, therefore she is aggressive and unprofessional towards passengers but it's completely unacceptable.
For your references, it was a flight from Istanbul to Dubai, on the 14th September 2019, 18:45 departure, TK760.

I tried to issue boarding  pass yest online as u saw  but i couldnot!

I traveled fm ankara to istanbul by another way as i couldnot do the boarding and i was in city between istanbul and ankara  and in order to safe time ..i decided to move to istanbul direct to catch jeddah flt

In istanbul sabiha airport, they treated me bad, refused issue boarding pass plus pushed my to pay around 900 TL  as attached in order to issue the boarding pass for istanbul jeddah!

I am gold member and treated v bad [protected] by sabiha airport all members 

In istanbul they inforced me to be around 900 TL, reason  i didnot issue boarding from ankara despite i tried as below but couldnot issue it

I want refund these value paid to turkish airline yest. Around 900 tl or i will sue turkish airline plus staralliance

I will never use turkish air or any of staralliance members anymore

My name is Lilian Ampiaw Ocran and i got on board on the 27th of August 2019 at JFK Airport Flight TK0002, seat 33H to Istanbul. I mistakenly left my cellphone (IPhone 8plus, black in color with at gold sticker in my first name behind it, and in a transparent phone case) in the compartment behind the seat in front of me. I was unable to go back to the airplane for it and the staff around didn't help at all, they said there was nothing to do about it so i should go to the lost and found department. upon getting there the the passport control and police said i needed a Turkish visa to get there so i was unable to go to the lost and found. They told me to file a complain when i get to my country Ghana which was my final destination. i got to Ghana on my connecting flight and the airlines service told me if i find it i would have to go back to Turkey for it. i am very disturbed because the phone has a lot of my school works and document on it and other very important things. i hope it will be found and returned to me safely. Thank you

I called to ask about an upgrade and I had called an international call I was requested to provide all my details then I was told to hold 2-3 times I was then transferred to a miles & smiles operator who then asked again for my details just like her colleague. I was then told that there was no availability ofcourse after having to wait for several minutes.
I had already checked and there is availability this is not the first time you airline does this the respond time is very slow and the sound is always unclear at your call centers . I will be flying with my fiancé for our anniversary celebration and I wanted to upgrade unfortunately the help or guidance to do so with miles or cash is very poor.

My name is Maria Bianchi on august 2nd I took the flightTK1896from Milan to Istanbul which had a delay of2h and 30min. we are 4 people and caused the delay we missed the connection with TK0726 from Istanbul to Kathmandu.I notified to the cabin crew that we had other flights connecting from KTM to Pokhara and Jomson and I asked to advise the staff of flight TK0726, when we landed the flight TK 0726 had not yet departed but nobody waited us at our arrival. We landed at 8.30 pm and our pilgrimage started from one desk to another .we always found rude and almost inconpetent staff.In the end we were given a chance to arrive in KTM on august 4th at 4, 30 pm, instead of 3rd august at 6, 30am, going to Abu Dhabi with a stop over of 9h.We started the search for luggage and finally we arrived at 2, 30am to the hotel.You might not be so interested in this case but for sure you are interested to avoid bad pubblicity that I will do for your extimated company

I have to report a complaint against your check in staff at Gatwick airport
I and my family checked on Tk 1998 25august
The staff was very rude to us and was speaking in abusive language for unknown reasons
When we approached the check counter she forced us to stow our back bag in the suit cases as same as she stated not allowed one briefcase is allowed and the back back should be stowed in the suit case saying it is the policy of the airline in Gatwick airport at the time other staff on other check counters allowing passengers for two pieces one briefcase and one back bag and when brought that to her attention she did not care and was insisting to Stowe the backpack and she stopped the check process and loudly said she will case the security to us for unknown reason as she was not accepting any type of discussion and not given any acceptable reasons why other checking staff allowing other passengers with tow carry on baggage
Soon later the supervisor interfered and recheck us again without allowing us to carry the back bag
Even when we brought to her attention that we came from Istunbul nobody of your staff rejected to carry the back bag on board along with the briefcase
At the end I asked the staff for her name to lodge a complaint against her she ran from the counter and Loudly said I will complain you to her duty manger which very strang attitude for a staff to compliant against passenger did not do any thing wrong rather than ask for their rights
She rushed us to put or backpacks in our big bags that were checked in, and that made me forget my wallet inside, that contains my ID and credit cards!
Kindly look at the case and advise me accordingly

I have booked my tickets from New Delhi to kyiv.
My flight is on 24th August 2019.

I have my flight from New Delhi to kyiv via Istanbul.

My connecting flight is from Istanbul.
Earlier my connecting flight was on 24th August 2019 but now the date has been changed to 26th August 2019.

Now my connecting flight is on 26th August 2019.
Being a student it is causing me alot of trouble.
I don't know where to stay for 2 days and what to do.

I have an awful experience at the boarding gate F14, flight TK 413 from Istanbul to Moscow. I am a Thai citizen and don't require any visa to enter Russia for 30 days, the condition that ground staff was not aware of. They refused to let me board the plane, because from their perspective I needed visa. When I tried to explain that I have all the additional documents with me (my husband and son are Russian citizens), they took the documents from my hands without asking my permission to do so. I nearly fainted because I thought I cannot make my way back to my family that day. They didn't care at all about my condition and let me wait until manager came and let me board the plane. No one said sorry for for keeping me waiting or for mistake they made. I cried when saw my family in Moscow and felt so low for being treated that way. Is that kind of travelling experience do Turkish Airlines promote to its passengers?

Btw, I left a complaint at the Turkish Airlines website which they promised to resolve within 7 days. After 7 days I got autoreply that they're still looking into my case. I would like to share my experience with others, so they'll consider their choice of airlines while going abroad. As I saw from other posts rude and incompetent staff is what Turskish Airlines is known for.

I arrived at Ataturk Airport on TK0597 from Banjul on 16th August at 08.00 am. Next Flight to Baghdad is 21.55. Turkish did not take me to a hotel because the hotel desk is after migration, so I need a Turkish Visa and I was prepared to get a Turkish Visa, even though I don't need it. Then I realize I cannot get a Visa because I don't have US or EU passport and no valid US or Schengen Visa. I have a UNLP but the immigration officer won't recognize that. So I had no option. I was left to stay in the airport for 14 hours. I use Turkish Airlines frequently and passes through Istanbul and I have witness many passengers in similar situation and they had to stay in the airport sometimes for days. I also noticed that it is mostly happening to black Africans who do not have any US Visa or Schengen Visa on their passport, because they did not have any need for them. So it is inevitable that some people are beginning to draw conclusions, one being that there is some racial bias. So there has to be a solution to the Catch 22 situation above otherwise a lot of people are ready, and some have already made up their minds never to use Turkish Airlines to transit through Turkey again. Other big airlines have solved it and you don't get this kind of catch 22 situations in Doha, Dubai or Cairo and I am sure Turkish airlines can sole it by working with the Turkish Government.
The second complaint is that attitude of the Turkish Airline staff at Istanbul Airport. This may or may not have come to your notice, but they have a reputation of being rude and unhelpful. They treat customers as if they (Airline staff) are doing a favor for the passengers, especially if you are of the wrong race. You get the impression that they treat you like a piece of trash.
I trust that you will take these complaints seriously and treat them with the seriousness they deserve.

Dear Admin,
I sent you this complaint because of the changed flights from aerobilet flight office which on 27/8/2019.First, my flight from (KL Malaysia) was at 09:20 on 27.08.2019. Now it is at 7:55 in the same day. The problem that when I leave to KL airport there are no flights before 7:55 am which means I have to come at KL airport 12 hours before which is a long time to wait. If it is the same flight date there would be no problem because the first flight from the town I live in is at 6:00 am that gives the chance to be on Time.
The second issue which is more worse that the flight from Dubai to Kuwait was at 19:00 on 27.08.2019, now it is at 7:00 a.m on 28.08.2019. Do you imagine that I will wait in Dubai airport more than 14 hours. So please if you have the authority on such offices send them the complaint. Of course I sent them but in vein.

Dear Turkish Airlines,
I booked for my family on may 2nd from Khartoum to Doha via your airlines, TK681, with a 10+ hours connection period in Istanbul Airport. Basically I though there will be provision of hotel as per the norms and tradition of decent service providers in this field. They were not allowed in. They have no money and no guidance as how to get food throughout this long period . My wife and three children had to go through it all. further, the flight from Istanbul to Doha, TK780, was delayed for around 4 hours. Only then, when complained to the officers they gave some coupon for food. On arriving at Doha airport, after all of this struggle, one bag was found missing. This needs to be compensated fairly as all of it happened because of your services.

On 10 August, 2.30 adternoon, my family and I were queing at the check in counter for flight TK2529 flying from Bodrum to Istanbul. At Bodrum airport, a ground hostess called Ms. Neeibe Soenmez was sitting and not serving any passenger. A passenger before us asked her if he could be served by her. She agreed. The passenger went to the counter but it seems he did not have his ticket with him. He tried to locate his ticket on his mobile but could not. He called somebody and was on the phone for a few minutes. The Ms Neeibe Soenmez was indifferent playing with her nails and did not care to deal with the next passenger. I stepped towards her and asked her to check us in untill the previous passenger can find her ticket. She was very rude to me and told me "go and stand there!" I told her that there was no need to be rude and that she can finish with the previous passenger when he had located his ticket. No way! she just sat there sitting there and waiting. I told her that she lacked professionalism and that there was no need to block the queue and waiting unnecessarily for a passenger who needed time to find his missing document. I asked to talk to her superior. I was told somebody will show up to take note of my complaint in 5 minutes. I waited for 15 mins, unfortunately nobody showed up. I asked for her name and decided to lodge a complaint. I think A well known airlines with a good reputation do not need such irresponsible staff.
