Trustpilot review: Trustpilot have been systematically removing my reviews

Trustpilot have been systematically removing my reviews, then they stopped posting any review I wrote, they would send a email asking for proof I have had dealings with the company I reviewed, so I send the proof to them, they still refuse to post my reviews.

They have done it so many times not it is silly, I have asked by email and on their contact form why, but all I got were copy and paste replies that explained nothing and a link to their review guidelines page. In a lot of cases they just did not bother to reply at all.

I was not breaking any of their guidelines or rules in my reviews.

Then I got a email from trustpilot saying they believe I am guilty of "suspicious activity" on their site. Again I asked what does that mean, but no explanation.

Then they sent me a email saying they have blocked my trustpilot account and removed any reviews I had left (it was not many as they had previously "stripped" any reviews I had posted even after I had sent them proof I have had dealings with those companies).

Then a couple of hours later later I got another email from them saying "Sorry, we made a mistake", they reinstated my account and only one review.

I asked them "Why only one review ?" by email, then then blocked my account again.

They did reinstate my account again, but they would not put the other reviews they incorrectly removed back.

I have tried to post other reviews, but trustpilot still refuse to publish any reviews I write, even the proof I send them is not good enough for them (screenshots of invoices, my account page on the companies site I am reviewing, emails from the company etc).

They wont even post my one star reviews about trustpilots behaviour on their own trustpilot page.

They have also said "You can still carry on and post reviews of companies I have had dealings with", but the truth is they will not publish any them as I have found out (even when I send them proof I have had dealings with those companies I try to review)

In the past the excuses they have used to "Strip" all my reviews away are :

"You are not allowed to post more than one review for a company"
"You are not allowed to say the same thing on different reviews, you must vary it"
"You are guilty of suspicious account activity"
"You have been posting and deleting reviews"
"The documentation you provided is not enough proof, so we will not put your review up" (or words to that effect, saying they dont believe me).

There have been other excuses, but I cannot remember them.

Now the latest accusation I have got from them says I am guilty of accepting "Incentives" from companies to post reviews, so they will not post them.

They also said they have informed me of that before, They NEVER have, today was the first time I heard that. I did reply asking where they got that clearly WRONG information from, but no reply, and the chances are if I do get a reply it will be the usual copy and paste email that explains nothing.

All trustpilot have done is basically call me a liar as they don't believe my reviews even after I send them proof (that alone is insulting), also be arrogant in their replies to genuine questions trying to sort the problem out, and completely unhelpful in general, their customer relations is bad to say the least, and I have told them that (and a lot of other people have said the same on trustpilots own review page), and now they accuse me of taking bribes to post reviews.

Yes I know they used the word "Incentives", but Incentives aim to promote good behaviour, like a bonus to employees, while bribes are intended to manipulate actions of people or a person

Being insulted and accused of taking bribes is a serious matter, bribery is defined as giving or receiving a financial or other advantage to influence someone's actions improperly.

Trustpilot said I was I was offered a incentive for my review, that is a BRIBE, not a Incentive.

So trustpilot are trying to cover themselves by using the word "Incentive" instead of the word "Bribe". Trustpilot said I was I was offered a incentive for my review, that is a BRIBE, not a Incentive.

They insult people beyond belief.

Just have a look at trustpilots own review page, and look under one star reviews, you will see a lot of us have the same problem with them removing genuine reviews and just not being helpful.

And the endings of the emails trustpilot send (after they have explained nothing) are just bad, its sentences like "As this decision is final, we now consider this matter closed", and "we will not respond to further emails raising similar concerns" (Arrogance and being unhelpful seems to be a company trait at trustpilot).

So that's it, that's all we as reviewers are getting from them, and never any help, trustpilot sure know how to alienate us reviewers.

I can totally see why the Consumer protection bureau is looking into trustpilot.

I have now personally send every company I tried to review in good faith screenshots and a explanation about what has been happening with any reviews I try to publish and trustpilot remove or not let me publish, as companies need to know what trustpilot are doing.

(in general companies have no idea trustpilot are blocking genuine reviews they should be getting unless we tell them).

I have also sent all the information to the Consumer protection bureau as it turns out they are looking into them for the same behaviour I have experienced from trustpilot.

And I have put in complaints to a few of trustpilots management, but I dont think they will reply, I think their "Corruption" goes all the way to the top.

I have also asked trutpilot to explain themselves after they accused me of taking bribes to post reviews, and I have asked them to tell me the company names (as I dont have a clue because it never happened), and I have asked for a apology as accusing me of taking a bribe is a serious insult.
