I want to share my experience with Trustpilot because I believe other consumers should be aware of how the process worked in my case.
Trustpilot initially accepts your review and publishes it. However, the company you reviewed is then notified and given the opportunity to respond through Trustpilot's system. In my experience, once the company became involved, my review was repeatedly challenged and eventually removed.
Trustpilot asked me to provide evidence to verify my experience, such as WhatsApp conversations and other supporting documents. I submitted everything they requested, and my review was restored for a short time. A few days later, it was removed again, and I was asked to provide evidence once more—even though I had already submitted the same documents.
This cycle repeated multiple times. Instead of resolving the verification process, I felt I was being asked for the same information over and over again, making it increasingly frustrating to keep my review online.
Because of this experience, I no longer consider Trustpilot to be a reliable platform for consumer reviews. If you're thinking about posting a complaint there, be prepared for the possibility of repeated verification requests. You may also want to consider sharing your experience on other well-known consumer review platforms so your feedback remains accessible.
This post reflects my personal experience and opinion.
