Trivandrum Airport review: Renewal of export certificate for gold ornament

Dear sir, My name is Sreejith . At present I am working in Dubai. I came on emergency leave on 12/10/2023. I was wearing a gold chain since long time( old and used)which is having an export certificate 131/2021dated 08/03/2021. On 12/10/2023 , the customs officer who was there on arrival informed me that this certificate expired and to be renewed. I also agreed for that. Today I am returning back to Dubai . When I reached there in Customs desk which is for issuing Export certificate then no body was available , then I called the number which was mentioned and informed. The Customs officer who took the phone told me that now you should get a certificate from Bhima Jewellers ; then only Export certificate can be issued. I told him that , this gold chain was already issued with Export certificate and everything is mentioned in the certificate including weight and value. But he told me again you should get a certificate from Bhima. This is injustice . Now I have to travel back to Dubai and in the Customs Desk it is clearly mentioned that those who carry gold ornaments to declare and go and no where mentioned that Bhima certificate required.
