Booked and paid in full in June (?) for a vacation Jan 10-17th. Plane got cancelled on 17th and letter right from west jets say "If you booked through a third party:
If you booked with another airline or through a travel agent, online booking site, or corporate travel arranger, contact your provider directly to review your options."
So contact Trip central who basically shrugs it off and tells us to contact West Jet and they can do NOTHING for us.
so play the circle game of contact each other :(
Told them my luggage was part of my package and because flight was cancelled I had to pay $50 a bag for our luggage to get home and also paid extra to book specific seats but once flight was cancelled so was our request for those seats and we got assigned seats
That is apparently another thing I have to take up with West Jet on my own.
WHY book through a "Travel Agency" if they are going to do NOTHING to support you ?
Do NOT Recommend Trip Central for bookings
