KEES Vacations Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Don't go with Kees. They said they had fast internet, but there's no internet at all. No one in our group can get cell service either. We've been trying to get in touch with Kees for days to fix it, but they keep avoiding us. When we do get through, they hang up right away without helping. We're halfway through our stay and still no internet. Some of us had to go to coffee shops to work or call our dads for Father's Day. Others had to take unpaid time off work. Kees broke their own rental agreement by not giving us what they promised. We want some of our money back.

KEES Vacations When we got to the *** in Nags Head, NC, the room was a mess

When we got to the *** in Nags Head, NC, the room was a mess. There was hair all over the sheets, bugs on the floor, and food under the couch. The bathroom had mold and the floors and furniture were stained. The wifi didn't work even though they said it would. I didn't hear back from "management" until day 4 of our 5-day stay. It was gross. They gave me some money back, but it wasn't enough. I'm a single mom with 3 kids and this was our first vacation in 6 years. Kees ruined it. Mechelle, the "manager," was rude and didn't care. I have proof of everything, but the cleaning crew lied and said there was nothing wrong. I couldn't even get into the room at first, I had to wait on hold for 20 minutes to get the code. Don't book here. They're thieves and this is the worst vacation place ever.

KEES Vacations Kees Vacations in NC is the worst!

Kees Vacations in NC is the worst! They made a mistake with AirBnB and the wrong price was online for like 8 of their properties. I didn't know it at the time, but I booked. The next day they called telling me that I needed to call Airbnb and cancel. I said no, this was not my problem. Rounds and rounds and rounds, and 3 days later I get several emails from Airbnb and Kees saying it was a mistake and this time I was good to go. They confirmed and emailed me the code to get in the door, etc. Two weeks later, today, I get an email/text saying my vacation that is in 3 weeks again has been cancelled, and my card refunded. I have called them again and keep getting the run around. Seems like everyone I talk to can't help me. Keep saying I have to pay full price for their mistake. That is not right. I'm stressed my whole family has taken off to go on this trip and now we have nowhere to go! I will blast this company all over social media and everywhere else I can think of! Do not use Kees Vacations.

KEES Vacations We rented a condo in Branson at Great Rock last week through KEES Vacation

We rented a condo in Branson at Great Rock last week through KEES Vacation. When we arrived, it didn't look like the pictures online. The AC broke twice, and the patio door wouldn't open. After they fixed it, it was hit or miss when it would work. The microwave didn't work, and they had to come fix it. The floors were so dirty that our socks and feet turned black. I asked for a mop to clean the floors. The neighbors pulled the fire alarm, and the smell of pot was so strong that we couldn't sit on the deck. The knobs on the bathroom sink were falling off, and the shower handle was coming out of the wall. They did come to fix the AC and the door, but it broke again. They offered us a free night's stay, but we didn't want it with all the issues. We paid almost *** for three nights, and we expected more for that price. We were very disappointed. I contacted KEES, and someone said they would call me back, but they never did. It was a total disaster. I don't recommend booking through them or staying at Great Rock. They need major updates or a lower price for that price. We are not picky people and are pretty laid back, but this was too much.

We rented a house from Kees Vacations in Nags Head, NC and it was supposed to be the ultimate vacation spot. But don't be fooled by the fancy pictures on their website. The front door was so rusty that we had to force it open. The fire pit was broken and covered in duct tape. The hot tub only had one working jet. The grills were dirty and one didn't even have propane. The gate to the bench was broken and the outdoor cushions were ripped. The outdoor speakers didn't work and the lawn was mostly dirt and weeds.

Inside, we found black mold in the kitchen cabinets and a missing towel bar in one of the bedrooms. The theater room was a letdown with no DVD player and broken pool cues and shuffle board table. The kitchen table chairs were stained and dirty. The TV remote needed to be charged and there was no charger. One of the speakers wasn't even connected to the TV. And to top it off, the wine glasses were plastic and there was no corkscrew.

We called Kees Vacations multiple times to try and get these issues fixed, but they didn't do anything. Instead, they just passed the problems onto the next guest. We've been vacationing in the Outer Banks for 40 years and have never been so disappointed. Don't waste your time with Kees Vacations.

I booked a 4-night vacation stay with KEES Vacations, but they only sold me 2 nights. I've been trying to get in touch with them to resolve the issue, but they haven't called me back. I really need to talk to the manager to find a solution as soon as possible. It's not like I'm being difficult, I just need to make arrangements for work. My folio number is XXXXXXX and the cost for the 4 nights was ***.

I asked for my money back 'cause of Covid, but Kees ain't givin' it to me. They say I shoulda got travel insurance, but I didn't even have the option to buy it when I booked my vacay. The house I was supposed to stay in was called "Feeling Tipsy Carolina Shores" from 4/3 to 4/8. I paid with my VISA ending in ***. They ain't say nothin' 'bout a Pandemic not bein' a good enough reason to cancel and get my money back. But when I checked out the travel insurance website, they said a Pandemic ain't covered. This all went down on 3/18, and I booked the house on 1/31.

KEES Vacations I want my money back from KEES Vacations

I want my money back from KEES Vacations. I was supposed to go to NC from April 4th to April 9th, but the Coronavirus messed everything up. I'm from NYS, where the virus is really bad, and the Governor and President said we can't travel and have to stay away from people. We're trying to do the right thing and not spread the virus, so we asked KEES for a refund. But they said no. We paid *** with a VISA. I have the emails from KEES if you want to see them.

I stayed at a vacay crib run by Kees Vacations in the Outer Banks, NC from 4/22-4/26. Within 48 hours of the stay, I hit them up to let them know about a bunch of issues: rat poop, no housekeeping, no AC, HIDDEN CAMERAS, doors that didn't lock, windows falling out, and major disrepair. I told them I was there for a funeral and had fam coming, so I couldn't leave right away, but I'd bounce ASAP. The fixes needed were major and would've messed up the service we were having, plus I didn't want my kid with one kidney exposed to COVID, so they didn't come out. They asked for pics and vids and said they'd hook me up with some cash. They also made me clean up laundry from the last guest. But when I left, they wouldn't give me my money back until I took down my bad review.

I rented Happy Sol from Kees Vacations in Nags Head, NC from 4/4 to 4/10. I paid about *** for the week and an extra *** for the pool to be heated. The rental advertised internet, pool heat, a working pool, fire pit, projector for movie room, waterfall at the pool, and a clean property. But we didn't get any of that and Kees didn't follow up. I emailed 4 times and called 5 times, but no response. Here are some of the issues we had: landscapers blocked driveway for 2 hours on Monday and now grass in the pool, pool not heated, tV not working outside, speakers outside not working, dishwasher broken in kitchen, hot tub not cleaned, house not cleaned when we arrived, under the couch full of dirt, toilet broken in second floor bathroom, sink faucet broken and dirty in kitchen, refrigerator door doesn't close all the way, all windows and doors were gross, and no internet.

KEES Vacations Stayed at KEES Vacations for 8 nights but the first 3 were a disaster

Stayed at KEES Vacations for 8 nights but the first 3 were a disaster. The condo was dirty and no bed sheets were provided. They said we would get a refund but we haven't received it yet. When we arrived, the condo was filthy with hair, sand, and dirty smudges all over the sheets in the two bedrooms. The dishes were dirty and the floor was not clean. The pullout couch didn't have any linens in the closet even though we were guaranteed linens for all 6 people staying in the condo. We called them the night of our arrival but they didn't send anyone out to clean or bring linens until 3 days later. We stayed in a dirty condo for 3 days and my two boys had no sheets for the pull out bed for 3 nights. Finally, after cleaning the condo, they still left dirty dishes in the drawers. We called to express our frustrations and they promised a refund of *** but we only received ***. We have called nearly 10 times and spoken with the manager Latrice multiple times but they never follow through on their promises to email, communicate, and refund the money. We want fair compensation for our terrible experience.

I was told we'd get some money back after we left the KEES place because it was a mess. But it's been a whole month and I still haven't seen any cash. We stayed there from June 14-18 and before we got there, we tried to change our dates or get a credit for next year because we didn't want to travel during the pandemic. But KEES said no way because they had new cleaning rules and stuff. They said they were all about safety and told me to read a big document on their website about it. So we decided to go. But when we got there, the place was a disaster and not ready for us. They only had one lady cleaning a nine bedroom, three-story house. She said she wasn't even a real cleaner and didn't have any of the stuff they promised. She didn't follow the rules and wasn't trained like they said. She even had to call her kid to help clean up. They were both nice but didn't have masks on and didn't know about the new rules. The place didn't even air out for hours. It was bad even without the pandemic, but with it, it was really bad. We had to wait a long time to get in and then had to clean up after the last people. We had to make beds and get towels because they just threw them in a room. We had to clean the windows and stuff because there were fingerprints and food all over. We tried to call and email KEES a lot of times about all this stuff and more (like the pool not being heated, the grill being broken, and the fireplace turning on and off by itself). But no one called us back. Finally, I talked to a guy named George on June 15 and he was nice but could only recommend a partial refund. He said a manager would call me back that day, but no one did. I left messages and called a lot of times until a manager named Shelby answered on June 16. She gave us some money back for the pool, but she didn't really take responsibility for anything else. She said the cleaning lady was just human and made mistakes. But the problem was that the management didn't do anything about it and didn't call me back. She said we'd get some money back after we left based on how long it took to get the place ready, how long we had to clean, and how much we spent on cleaning supplies. We also paid for housekeeping every day, but they didn't do it because of the pandemic rules. So we should get money back for that too. But I've tried to contact them a lot of times since we left and no one has answered me in a whole month.

I rented a place from KEES Vacations, but they didn't reply to my messages. I finally got in touch with them and they said the owner wasn't advertising with them anymore. They said they would try to rent it out again, but I had to pay in full before they could do that. They rented it out for two nights, but I had paid for three. They wouldn't give me a refund because I didn't pay in full. I also paid for insurance, but they didn't charge me in full so I couldn't use it. I don't understand why they didn't follow the Covid cancellation policy. I paid with my business card, but the wedding I was supposed to cater got cancelled because of Covid. They didn't explain any of this to me on the phone. They are deceptive and fraudulent.
