The wine is great, but the lack of order forms and shipping information, as well as the rush to go through the sales representative without providing the total amount to the guests, reflects poor business practices. Moreover, the wine is shipped to the house without including a packing slip indicating who ordered what. While the idea is fun and the product is good, it is disappointing to see people being taken advantage of.

I worked as a wine guide and attempted to contact their customer service on three separate occasions, but no one called me back. It was quite frustrating as I wanted to address some concerns. Eventually, I made the decision that I did not want to be associated with a company that cannot even return calls from their wine consultants. It made me wonder how they treat their other customers.

This company is absolutely fantastic to work for. They make the process of starting and operating a business incredibly easy. The wine they offer is not only amazing in taste but also reasonably priced. I highly recommend this company to anyone. It truly cannot get any simpler to begin and manage a business with them. It is especially beneficial for individuals who are new to this type of venture. The team is extremely supportive and readily available whenever you require assistance.

They claim to be transparent about things, but that is not the case. I was led to believe that if I purchased 6 or more bottles, I would receive free shipping. However, that turned out to be false, or perhaps it doesn't apply to us traveling wine guides. I was charged the *** shipping fee on my order, even though I bought the 6 bottles of wine. The breakdown of my order was not provided until I received the email, where I discovered that they still charged me for shipping, despite it being advertised as free. This is dishonest and frustrating.

So my experience mirrors that of many other concerns listed on this page. And that had to do with shipping. If I'm willing to pay three times the actual value of a product (the bottle of wine), then please don't charge me shipping, lol. It seems to be a common business practice of the representatives not to go over the totals before charging your credit card. I think this would easily take care of the issue of disclosing the shipping costs. Anyhow, it's a numbers game, and I doubt most people will cancel over the "misunderstanding".

When ordering online, be cautious! They don't display the shipping price until you've completed your order, which is quite deceptive. Initially, the shipping price appeared as $0 when I entered my credit card information and clicked on "submit order." However, on the next screen, I received my confirmation number along with the price of the wine and the shipping cost, which turned out to be $15.99 for shipping just one bottle of wine. If they had been transparent about the shipping charges from the beginning, I would have never made the purchase. Unfortunately, I couldn't reach customer service as your company was closed at the time of my order placement. To my surprise, the order had already been shipped by morning.

We are extremely disappointed with this company as they have taken our money and we have yet to receive our wine. A group of friends and I had a wine tasting at *** a month ago. Initially, we heard nothing about the status of our order for a few weeks. When I finally reached out to my wine guide, I was informed that the bottles had been damaged during shipment. Another week passed without any updates. As time went on, weeks turned into a month and we still had not received our wine. Finally, corporate contacted me and provided me with a series of excuses such as moving warehouses and the holiday season. However, despite their promises, our wine still had not been shipped. To make matters worse, corporate confirmed that our orders had never even been processed. I followed up with them once again yesterday, but received no response. If you are considering Traveling Vineyard for your next event, be aware that there is a possibility that you may experience a similar situation.

I enjoyed the wine I recently purchased from this company, but they are significantly overpriced (especially when you take into account the exorbitant shipping fees) considering the average quality. It would be wiser to buy a $15 bottle of wine from a local store to save money and avoid the hassle. My friend is involved in the wine industry here, and I initially bought wine to support her, although I have since stopped. This company (and others like it) exploit these personal relationships for profit, and it disgusts me. My friend dedicates hours each week to this, hosts monthly tastings, and continues to lose money (although she won't admit it). While this company is not the worst offender, this program is clearly designed to make money at the expense of the wine guides. If you are considering joining, I strongly urge you to consider finding a regular part-time job instead!
