The Service and the cleaness, the rudeness
The floor I was on had a gas leak smell and my room had semen in the carpet I took pictures, the carpet in my room was very soiled. The toilet was very dirty. It appears that room services isn’t being monitored by adequate staffing who would go and check. The front desk staff were very un professional and they did not make me seem any importance. I asked questions I was ignored and laughed at.
Desired outcome: I would like to be compensated a full refund
House keeping
We stayed at the Godfrey hotel 9/7/2021. We really enjoyed our stay, a house keeper walked in on us after knocking very softly and not announcing herself as housekeeping before walking in at about 10am. We checked out around 12, went to the gas station and got a call like 15 to 20 mins later saying I left my bag with a lot of money in it and ID and credit cards. So we came back to get the bag and when we got it we immediately checked to see if everything was there and we instantly saw that we were missing a few HUNDRED dollars! We informed the black lady at the front desk about it and she told us there was nothing they could do! And to call the police. The staff is VERY SHADY!
Desired outcome: Housekeeper to be fired and to return our hard earned money

I have booked a room for 4 nights during the winter season...
I have turned my thermostat "off" since I walked in the room and it is still too warm (my phone states 76 degrees).
I endured for 2 nights and then called the front desk at a reasonable hour.
The response was "no one returned our box fan" and explained the "cooling system does not kick in" during the winter months and that I should "open the window and turn off" the system - which I have done.
The bar on the 4th floor below is raging with windows open.
All that to say, if you don't want a sauna of a room and a bar of 21 year olds pounding below you, then do not stay here...

the manager threated me and promised to throw me to the street
I stayed in The Godfrey Hotel and decided to order sushi from the nearest café. There were no signs that the delivery drivers weren’t allowed to come to the guests’ rooms. I waited for the delivery, but instead of sushi I got the angry phone call from the receptionist and manager. They threatened me and promised to throw me to the street if I decided to do something like this again. I was so angry and the manager was rude and must solve such issues in completely different way.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
