About 11:45 am on Sunday March 22nd I went to get an oil change. The technician got under the hood and took out the air filter and oil filter. The technician said oil filter was broken along with a few other parts of the filter and that they were not able to do an oil change. They tried Advanced auto parts across the street who didn't have the part. I advised the technician that i was going to go to my mechanic on Monday and could they please just put it back the way it was. They put the filter in and said they were not able to do an oil change because of the filter. They then had me start the engine and said it was ok to leave. I drove not even one mile up the road and my engine started to sputter and quit at a traffic light. It would not do anything after that. I had the Jeep towed out of the turning lane into a vacant parking lot for the rest of the day. On Monday 3/23 my father went and got my mechanic and went to look at my Jeep. The mechanic said there was not a drop of oil in the Jeep and that it caused my engine to seize up and would probably need new engine. Mechanic said oil filter was improperly put back in the Jeep and that they must have drained my oil out before they had me leave. At no time did a technician say they drained my oil and they should have never had me leave if my Jeep had been drained. This caused my engine to be ruined because they drained the oil out of it. I now need to company to look into fixing the engine that was destroyed because the technician emptied the oil out of my jeep and did not refill and had me leave.
