Ive been through Superbike-Coach (days 1, 2 and 3) twice now and cant recommend the course enough for the rider looking to hone skills, boost confidence or simply become less slow. Coachs method of calling-it-how-he-sees-it, when-he-sees-it quickly made me aware of my many misconceptions and bad habits so I could work to correct them. No longer do I approach every turn as a late apex but instead try to position my bike on a line to reduce travel time though a series of curves. Now I know to where to look when approaching a turn and how to transition my focus to the next waypoint as I travel through it. Now I can use my throttle to adjust my turning radius instead of relying on changes to lean angle. I no longer have to recall a mnemonic to be able to counter-steer; now my inputs are more natural and effective. I am living proof that it is in fact, NOT suicidal to use the front brake in a turn, provided its applied smoothly and gradually. Finally, thanks to coach, I soil my pants less on hard stops. Of course, my riding still needs a lot of work. Thats why Im booked for day 4 and will no doubt repeat Superbike-Coach days 1-3 again in the future.

Amazing experience with coach Can. He tells you exactly what you are doing wrong and how to fix it. If you are a good listener and you apply what he teaches, you will learn so much. Just after his day 1 cornering school, I can already say that my confidence and skills while taking corners have improved immensely. Admittedly, I still have plenty to learn from coach and I am looking forward to taking days 2 and 3 with him. Overall, his classes are a lot of fun and the knowledge you gain from them is priceless. If want to learn the right way to handle a motorcycle take his class, you will not regret it.

The course is highly recommended if you want to improve your riding skill. The techniques if practiced and implemented regularly will make you confident on road and track. I suggest going in with open mind and knowing that coach probably rode in 1 year what you have ridden in last 10 years. I am not a fast rider and don't want to be. However, the proper technique to turn and brake even on a road could be difference between life and death.

Just did my first track day with Coach Can at Thunderhill! What a blast! Coach is so passionate about helping us become better, safer, and yes faster riders! Coach cares so much, and he has so much knowledge and experience that he wants to share. I learned so much that day from following Coach, watching his lines, and then having him follow me and critique my riding. He definitely does not sugar coat things! His evaluation is straight forward and honest. He cares so much about his students. He absolutely gives you his soul in hopes of making you a better rider. I absolutely recommend Coach to any motorcycle rider regardless of experience, skill, or type of bike.

I finished the first cornering classes and have now done the series again this time with a friend. Again - I can't say enough about Can and the entire team. A real class operation where I learn a ton. Can's ability to remember the different riders and their development and issues amazes me. He's so engaged and cares immensely. My friend was quite timid in her riding and she has loved Can's classes and they have really improved her. I am looking forward to doing more with Superbike Coach and continuing my progression.

Superbike-Coach So, I've gone for round two of the Cornering Day 1-3 series!

So, I've gone for round two of the Cornering Day 1-3 series! I took the skills I learned 7 months ago (Season 1) to the streets and came back for a refresher- I GOT SO MUCH OUT OF DAY 1 THE SECOND TIME AROUND! I knew just enough from Season 1 to set my "missions" for the day: to use throttle control to adjust my line and to laugh at the demon that starts talking during emergency braking drills. This time around the track, I really understood what it meant for the bike to compress or lengthen- really began to feel less like I was fighting with my bike and more like I was moving with it. Oh, and those stopping drills- nailed it! And now that my commute has doubled, I feel so much more confident knowing that I have the tools to deal with "the white prius" (or, in my case, the white mercedes).

Coach was, as always, positively genuine in his teaching- he doesn't sugarcoat things, because he knows that doesn't serve to make you a better rider. He is real with you, takes the time to explain the "why" behind the technique (make sure you pay attention when he does this, otherwise you are doing pushups), and he keeps the class fun with his jokes. The instructors and staff are amazing with their input as well (THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT GUYS!) and the team was wonderful with keeping us on time and the boys in check (she definitely runs the show). The whole team is a real family and they work together to make you a better, safer, and more knowledgeable rider.

There is a reason these classes book up MONTHS in advance! Don't wait- get in on a 2023 class now! And check back here for more updates as I'm going back for Day 2, Season 2, in about a week! This class is for ALL types and levels of riders!

Outstanding experience. Coach is a good professional with knowledge and experience. Coach connected with me and the students and asked for feedback. Incredible course. The ride back from Stockton was joyous with CONFIDENCE. Employed what I learned in the course on my ride back. Ride back home was easier, smoother. Highly suggest course with Coach with one or two student session. Best investment in my four month motorcycling journey.

Second time out with coach Can and my response is that you probably shouldn't ride a motorcycle without being taught what coach Can teaches you. I have ridden for most of my 70 years. Truth be told I have been doing things seriously wrong even though I took courses and went to clinics. In an orderly fashion he started by showing me how to stop my 800lb bike in half the distance. Then he began to teach me how to corner more efficiently so I wasn't maxed out and I always had an out in case something bad happened. He showed me how to make the bike feel hundreds of pounds lighter to the point where I could ride through a canyon road with just one hand lightly on the throttle. He taught me the beginning of how to dance with my bike and I can't express how much fun this was even for an old man. Coach Can gives bike riders the gift of a life time, don't miss this opportunity

Covid boredom sort of pushed me into getting back into riding after 15 years of not owning a bike. Since the pandemic I've purchased 3 motorcycles! Before that I was an avid canyon rider, long range multi-day sport tourer, and track day junkie. I wanted a refresher...I wanted to see if there were bad habits I needed to break...I wanted to see if I still had the passion of riding on 2 wheels. I went into the class with an open mind and a willingness to learn. Willingness to admit that despite thousands of miles and years of previous riding experience, that I needed all the help I can get. I love Coach Can's 'in your face' direct and to the point style of teaching. He holds nothing back and tells you like it is. Don't come to his class with an ego. No matter how many years and how many miles you have under your belt you can always learn something. Coach Can's Corning classes are not there to teach you how to be a trackday rider. He has other specific classes for that. The cornering class teaches riders of all experience how to best take a corner on street with the best possible outcome. Proper lines and having options and outs are key. I learned about waypoints and seeing the bigger picture and then zooming back in to focus on the corner. The Cornering class is held on a small go-kart track which is the perfect place to practice all the fundamentals you will learn. You will be able to hit the same corner over and over and work on the corners that are giving you trouble, while improving in the corners that you seem to get right. I highly recommend taking his classes and will sign up for future ones. I've already brought a few friends and I intend to bring more. The only issue I had was the state of the track. Lots of tar snakes which made things interesting as the day warmed up. There was one point where I thought I had lost pressure in my tires but then realized it was how slippery the track was getting. If there is a positive to take from having the tar snakes on the track was the fact that many California roads are full of them and getting a taste of them now and knowing how it feels when the bike is squirming underneath will give you more confidence when encountering them on real roads. As far as I know, as of early 2021, the track will be resurfaced and be an even better venue for learning how to ride a motorcycle. Thanks to Coach Can, Marion, and Dean (photog) for the great day. See you guys again soon!

Superbike-Coach new possibilities on the bike

new possibilities on the bike. Coach Can's teaching style is clear and concise, making it easy to understand and apply the techniques he teaches. The drills and exercises we did on Day 1 were challenging but incredibly effective in improving my cornering skills.

One of the things I appreciate most about Superbike Coach is the emphasis on safety. Coach Can constantly reminds us to ride within our limits and to prioritize our own well-being on the bike. This mindset has helped me become a more confident and controlled rider.

The feedback and individual attention Coach Can provides during the class is invaluable. He takes the time to observe each student's riding and offers personalized tips and corrections. This level of attention really helps accelerate the learning process.

I can't wait to continue my journey with Superbike Coach and attend the remaining cornering school days. The progress I've made in just one day is remarkable, and I know that with Coach Can's guidance, I will become an even better rider.

If you're serious about improving your riding skills and becoming a safer, more proficient rider, I highly recommend investing in Superbike Coach. The knowledge and techniques you'll gain from their programs are worth every penny. Don't hesitate, sign up and start your journey to becoming a better rider today!

I recently took the Cornering School Day 1 and the Body Positioning Class prior to that. Coach Can A and his crew.are extremely relatable and knowledgeable about riding. He has no problem explaining why the mainstream method of learning how to ride (YouTube, Books, Etc) are teaching the wrong thing. He doesn't just tell you the right way but explains why it is the right way. Lots of great logic and methods are taught, as well as a significant amount of track time to practice the concepts. He rides with the students and shows them how the taught material is applied. I certainly plan to continue taking these classes with Coach and recommend these courses to anyone looking to learn and stay up to date on their training; whether a beginner or a veteran rider.

This is my second time out with coach. I first have to start off by saying his whole team deserves an A+ for a strict compliance to the Covid-19 guidelines. Everything was conducted in a very disciplined manner in this regard. Secondly, there is not a better coach out there that can provide the “tough love" that you need to survive on the streets, and improve your performance. There were many different class of riders on my day out. Some with many years under their belt, some directly from a MSF course. We all had one thing in common, we needed coach Can, and I guarantee you need him too!
