Sunoco - harassment

my name is sarah cox. i am a former employee of the sunoco in cocoa beach, florida. last week, i quit due to the conditions i was put in, and how i was treated. i was leaving for hurricane dorian, and my assistant manager Paul Bush was giving me a hard time. earlier in the morning that day, he had came out before i started my shift and started to tell me how he thinks i had other motives in leaving, he told me that i have manipulated and used both him and my manager, and that i also took advantage of them. when i went to leave for evacuation (i left a day early) i was on the phone with my manager (Libby Peltier), and all of a sudden my assistant manager comes out and starts to listen to the conversation between my manager and my family & i. Paul didn't like that i was leaving, and my manager was trying to work it out for me, but i was going out of state and wasn't going to be back until after the hurricane. when my assistant manager overheard the conversation and what was being said, he started to add in. but it wasn't nice at all. he was actually very mad, and started to belittle me. he even started to argue with my mother, and he was saying some vulgar things. he then started to yell, telling us that he was going to call the cops and trespass us, he was screaming out many profanities, yelling out that we are drug dealers, drug addicts, said some things about my family that he knew i struggled with. it was very heart breaking, and he was harassing us all. i had gotten so overwhelmed, i had told my manager while we were on the phone that this was too much for me to have to deal with and that i was sorry but i quit. after he heard that, he tried to fire me (which he can't). not to mention, he held up a huge line in the store and told customers that they were going to have to wait while he could scream out more vulgar things. after that, my mom and him both had called the cops, but in the end he trespassed us all. i am very upset and frustrated about this whole situation. he also then posted to facebook later that night, and posted memes and had said how he felt about a former employee of his. it's not professional, it's childish, and also online harassment. that is not someone who needs to be an assistant manager. he has had many complaints about him since he started to work there, because of his attitude and how he treats the customers. i don't think that it was right on how he treated not only me, but my family as well. something needs to be done about this.

Sunoco - Paul bush/ manager

I would like to Lodge a complaint with you concerning one of your staff at the Cocoa Beach Sunoco Station
5625 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931

On todays date 8/23/2019
One of the Acting Managers Paul Bush very rude and disrespectful to me as I came as I do everyday to buy a Coffee from your Business.. His mannerism is very negative generally as you enter the Shop..
I was told by a member of staff a week previously of whom I cant remember, that if I brought my coffee cup back I could buy a coffee for a dollar less under your deal. That would be great but the last two coffee cups i brought broke within ours of me having them on the beach.. Therefore i brought the last one( which was damaged) i used from the day before and presented it to the front staff at the register to let them know i was going for a refill ..
The acting manager, I believe his name is Paul Bush then came around in a tirade and told me to pay for the new cup full price and 'Never come back to 'His Store' Again'... I'm not too certain of this business ethic as I also buy my gas for my motorcycle as do my club from that store and it seemed far too excessive for the situation. But i do recognize profiling and his manners were atrocious and thoroughly disrespectful especially to a USMC veteran in his 40's about to turn 50.
I did not want to mention the person working that gave me the information about just getting a new cup as obviously i'm not the only one experiencing defective merchandise.. I would like to be able to shop safely at any shop and not be treat in such an embarrassing way by this member of your staff..

Thank you
R. Anthony Johnson
