Sexual harassment
Hello and good day in fear of what may happen to me for complaining I chose to do it here. While at the 465 Atlantic Ave, Oceanside NY 11572, United States location which I frequent with my girlfriend. I was harassed by one of your employees a Simisola Olowo I believe from what I wore. I can’t believe a company like yours allows their employees to grope someone’s genitals while at work. This was in the presence of my girlfriend. The next time in which I came back to the store I was yet again met by the same individual who went ahead to say and I quote “that’s a lot of weight you’re carrying in your pants,” proceeding to attempt to rich me inappropriately. This is in all sense of the way humiliating vile and disgusting. This Simisola needs to be let go. If not I will be forced to get attorneys involved.

I wanna start off by saying I’ve been shopping at Stop nd Shop for 15 years but I recently moved to Coram NY so I’m speaking of the location at 276 Middle Country Rd This is the worst stocked SS I ever seen but the issue is the managers they are the most rude people I’ve ever seen the store is in a Predominantly black neighborhood and you know that soon as u walk in the store just doesn’t care about it’s customers it’s so wrong I asked the manager last week about why there where no hang basket he got very nasty and rude belligerent and told me the “Crackheads” take them all if u want a cart go get a push cart I couldn’t understand why he was being so nasty to me honestly I could tell he has a issue with people of color it’s buddy to the point where I don’t wanna shop in that store I really hope Corporate does something about that specific store EVERY Single human being should be treated with respect not not felt like your less of a person because of the color of my skin I know that this complaint won’t matter because I’ve left complaints before and things are still the same but I have to let it be know when wrong is being done!

Customer service in Stoughton Ma store
Well, it tells you allot about how serious a store takes customers service when they are short a customer service clerk and instead of them having some type of backup service like a cashier or even the rude lady manager that tells you that they can’t help me because her employee didn’t show up. I have been shopping at stop and shop since I arrived in this awesome country on January 19th of 1994 and I see the decline in customer service. Very disappointed. FYI I also saw more customer very disappointed with this situation. Just do better. We are your customers.
Deli counter
I was at your stop n shop on 160 Village Center, freehold Nj. I ordered exactly as such” can I please have a quarter of a pound of the cheapest roast beef”. I am legally blind, my boyfriend had walked away and I couldn’t see what was on sale. I thought it was quite expensive. My boyfriend actually told me to just leave it, but I couldn’t do that. So of course I bought it. My mom was at my home, many days later and I was commenting how expensive roast beef was….can you please explain how the sticker says .25 of a pound…it is $16.99 a pound yet I was charged $12.32? In this day and age shame shame on the computers you are using. How can I get a refund? I know this was an accident, just not being able to see I feel at a disadvantage, I would appreciate a response. I will be more disappointed if no one has the decency to get back to me. Accounts receivable
A 30.00 bounced fee check was charged for a 12.95 pea pod monthly delivery fee. IT was charged because stop and shop billed an inactive account. the information was changed to the correct account months ago on the account page. Also last month mastercard was billed for charge and it went through; this month they billed checking acct.

Digital coupons should be done away with. They do not work on all sites. The people that need the discounts generally do not have computers. They are discriminatory and clip coupons are prefered.

Bottle return machine down for weeks
One of the belts on the plastic bottle return machine has slipped partly off so bottles will stall while trying to deposit them. The machine has been like this for 3 weeks despite reporting it several times. They keep removing the out of service sign even thought the issue has never been resolved, I believe employees do this because the problem does not cause an ERROR to appear on the display.
Desired outcome: Fix the machine or install more than just the one machine
Mayonnaise Store Brand
There used to be 2 store brand mayo's. One was about $3 & one only $2. The $2 mayo was far better than even the name brand ones. Then they stopped making it. Now they have only one store brand at about $3.59 and the flavor is degusting. It tastes like the plastic jar it is in. This is the 2nd or 3rd time and I will no longer be buying from S &S. This item needs to be looked into because it tastes contaminated with chemicals. Please bring back the better $2 brand even though its probably more these days.
Desired outcome: Replace maker of store brand mayo.
Online ordering 1800 customer service
On Feb 10th at 12:30 pm I had called the Stop and shop 1800 number about an order I picked up on Feb 9th (M1493759). I was calling because I had ordered the Lays chips (3 bags) which were on sale. If you buy 3 bags, they would be $2.33 each. I assumed that I would be discounted at the end of the purchase, not realizing I had to click on a digital coupon. So, I was charged $3.33 a bag. Usually when I forget a coupon, I go back into the store with my receipt and coupon, ask for the coupon price and they always are good about it. Since this is online, I figured I would call and ask. The person I spoke with was going around and around, not letting me speak and trying to tell me that the discount was already applied (look at the total savings amount above). Also saying that since 76 cents was taken off already and I was only to get the difference which would be 24 cents. (The 76 cents discount was already a sale price from $4.09 to $3.33 before the coupon). I said to that person, NO the $1.00 off a bag was not applied since I didn't click on the coupon for 1, and secondly my total column on my invoice always shows the final total price. Which for me was 3.33. After arguing for 18 minutes with this rude person, they said, "that's what I said." My God it was the rudest customer service agent that I've encountered in a long time. I did finally get the $3.00 credit, but they made it sound like they were doing me a favor. Unbelievable.
Desired outcome: This person has no business in customer service.
I complaining about employees service
In the store East Hampton there is a lady in the vegetable place and she is very very racist and nasty with the color people l would like any manager take care about the it isn’t good for the business thank you for attention
Annie the manager regarding employment
My granddaughter, Jordan Kundrath went into the North Haven Stop and Shop on February 2, 2022 with my other granddaughter, Ashley Gee, who used to formerly work at that particular Stop and Shop, to apply for a Click and Collect position. Ashley introduced Jordan to Yvonne and told her she was there to apply for a position. Yvonne told her to apply online and she would look for her application and pull it out and give it to Annie the Manager. She also told Jordan to call Annie on February 3, 2022, and tell her that Yvonne was pulling her application and let Annie know that it was her and she was applying for a Click and Collect position. Yvonne was extremely nice and helpful.
Well, on February 3, 2022, Jordan was in Stop and Shop doing an Instacart order with her mother, and she heard Annie being paged. After they finished the order, they went out to the car and called Annie. Annie finally answered and said "I am not hiring anyone and call next week", and hung up. She was very rude and did not even ask who was calling. How did Annie get this job? Does not sound like she had much training, as I have been a Manager and I would never treat anyone like that, never mind a potential employee. In these times where stores are desperate for help, you would think that Annie would have been more courteous, and stated that the store was not hiring right now, but she would keep her application on file. The sad thing is, I have lived in the North Haven area for over 40 years and have shopped at Stop and Shop for as long as I can remember, and they are always looking for help, especially during the past year and a half. Plus, every time I go in the store, there are different people working there. My granddaughter, Ashley worked in the Deli department, and they went through help like it was going out of style. And due to Management, she quit and is very happy with another position elsewhere.
Well, needless to say Jordan was very upset for the rest of the day. And, I feel that Annie needs to apologize to her for being so rude. I know people do have bad days, but to take it out on potential employees I think puts a big stink on the company, and a bigger stink on the Manager.
I am hoping that something nice comes out of this, as these are tough times and we all need something nice...not rudeness.

Accounts receivable
My elderly mothers bank account was hacked. In December she placed an order with Peapod and the check bounced. She was charged a $30.00 fee on her mastercard. I have been trying to get in touch with accounts receivable for 6 weeks. I have spent hours on hold with customer service and left numerous message with accounts receivable with no returned phone calls. Since then she has been charged 4 (30.00) fees because the company keeps trying to get the funds from a bank acct. that is closed. How am I going to take care of the matter if I cannot get in touch with somebody?
Desired outcome: I want accounts receivable to call me and I want a refund of the $30.00 funds.

This is the 3rd time this month someone at this facility has been rude or unhelpful. Seafood Department
Most of the time, the workers remove the ice so that you are able to get a good amount of jumbo crab legs. Today, I spent approximately $40 and there is barely anything crab legs in here. I am having to remove a lot of the ice off the legs and not to mention the ice that had fell off into the bag.
Service and an employee at local store
I was verbally attacked by an employee and followed outside. She bullied me to the point of me filing a police report because I'm afraid. She is big and loud and I wanted someone to watch the surveillance video of her attacking me.
Desired outcome: I want the employee reprimanded and she NEEDS additional training!
Fruits and vegatables
I've been ordering from Stop and Shop online every week for a year now, due to the pandemic. They always send the fruits and vegetables after expiration date, as if they send the products they about through away-- super rude.
Then their fruits and products are SUPER GMO, cucumbers and bell papers that melt like water balloon. Oranges with horrible thick skin, tasteless and smells rotten, so goes for the tangerines and mandarines (1 out of 10 deliveries the tangerines are good, other times they charge of for MANDARINES and send tangerines.
Then, in rare occasions Stop and Shop send REAL avocados, but most of the time they send horrible GMO avocados that the texture is oil like with a chemical teste.
And last but not least, I tried not to buy their yellow roundup-ready potato, so I order red-- well guess what? Stop and shop sends their red potatoes (its their brand), and painted in red. Meaning, they dye the yellow potatoes red.
WE HAVE CALLED THE STORE TO TELL THEM THIS IS FRAUD (since red potatoes cost more), BUT STOP AND SHOP DOESNT CARE. Their dyed potatoes keep coming up in our order. So then we ordered SMALL red potatoes, thinking this time it will be organic or at least red, well not-- the expensive bag of over due potatoes came ALL RED, but at closer inspections half of the red potatoes were yellow ones painted in red, too.
At the end, half of these fruits and products always makes us very sick to our stomach. And I'm not even going to complain they always miss about 010 to 15 items on each order-- meaning we pay shipping for products that never arrive and we have to pay for shipping again next time we order the same products we didn't get. A TOTAL SCAM.
HORRIBLE DISHONEST STORE. They used to be good, but someone took over and turned it into a corrupt corporate mafia with zero regard of their costumers health and pocket.
