Steak 'n Shake review: cleanliness of restaurant and employees not being professional

We used to visit this steak and shake several times a month. I've never written a complaint to a restaurant before now. The restaurant smells and is filthy. The light fixtures and ceiling vents are caked with dust and debris. The last few times we were there these are a few things that we witnessed:

Employees off the clock hanging out by bar, while one employee who was clocked in was yelling at them about the inappropriateness of him being there and eating free stuff. This bantering lasted for at least a half hour on and off.

A hair in my food after the line cook refused to use a hair net when asked, he shook his head and said "I'm not shedding"(larger male with curly hair)

Another waiter complaining that he was running the whole dining room alone because the manager won't staff enough people

Homeless men in the bathroom for very long periods of time, the smell was horrific

Soda machine broken
Credit card machine broken

Waiting in the drive thru for service to even order for a very long time until I drove up and knocked on window. Has happened multiple times.

French fries so bitter (from old grease) not even edible, and when a complaint was made the kitchen staff acted very unprofessional and spoke loudly about our disproval.

I am not writing this to just vent, I'm writing in hopes that management will make a big change and start looking closely and what seems to be the problems with this location. We would eat there once a week of it were different. I've had several other residents voice their opinions on this as well. It's a shame that this steak and shake isn't up to par with other locations. Especially since so many tourists and visitors come to St. Augustine!
