Through the Cult of Mac Deals website (which uses StackSocial for software sales) I purchased MS Office Home & Business 2021 for Mac for $39.97 plus tax and a $1.99 "fee" and was charged approximately $42 on my credit card. I never received a confirmation of the purchase or instructions on how to download the software or a product key. I tried to log into the account that I made on cultofmac.com and got only errors. I tried using stacksocial.com's chat and got only automated responses that disappeared without providing any specific information about my account or purchase. The phone number listed for StackSocial on this Complaintsboard.com site is an unattended Google Voice phone number that is useless.

Claimed loss: $42
