Reminder – You have a past due unpaid invoice
SOS Maintenance contracted AJs Refrigeration LLC for a boston Market walkin cooler repair in Denver Colorado for $20, 400 and agreed to pay net 15 We are at almost 60 days and get nothing but the run around and are now filing a lien and taking legal action. The original account manager supposedly no longer works there, I googled them prior to taking the job but evidently there was not enough bad press for me to pick that up. I am seeking to remedy that situation. Don't do work for these folks unless they pay you in advance. Looks like a scam to me.
Desired outcome: Pay up
non payment
We work with S.O.S Maintenance Inc. many times, they ever take very long time to pay us the refrigeration service that we provide. At this time, we have two past due invoices. I send reminder messages and then they told me that the payment will be out soon, but every time its the same thing, the payment don't come. Few times we try to talk with the S.O.S customer service and they end the call without explanation. We have a vendor #265984.
We are in contact with J. Herrera and she help us with the payments issue, she resolve our problem fast, and have a good comunication with us every time. We allready receive the payments and make another work for them and receive the payment very fast too. Thanks J. Herrera!
We allready resolve this issue, J. Herrera contact us and resolve the problem with the payments fast. She is very competent and responsible.

failure to pay
I have been working with SOS Maintenance Inc for about 9 months, and in that 9 months I have done a considerable amount of work for this company. I have been evicted from my home, and had credit cards closed out for this company failing to pay me. They have paid me ~ $1, 000.00 total for 9 months of work.
Phone calls and emails to the Owner Pete remain unanswered. I will not be working with this company anymore.
To whom it may concern,
This is highly incorrect as we are extremely accessible and can be reached at anytime. The CEO is on call daily at all times and if you cannot reach the CEO, there are Senior Managers that can definitely assist or will pass along the information. We definitely do not want anyone hurt in there personal lives.
Feel free to call 718.323.1861 and ask to speak to CEO Pete Sepulveda as he will be awaiting your call.
We await your call so we can resolve.
Thank you

unfair business practices/ late or no payments
S.O.S are a small FM company. They have a list of small businesses they sub their work to. They have very few of their own clients and the ones they do have are extremely small. They claim to pay on net 30 day terms, and just as all the other smaller FM companies, they do not. I wouldn't advise working with them. There are much bigger FM companies with a lot more to offer who can appreciate skilled vendors. Their employee turnover rate is rapid, what is that saying? If they can't keep their employees happy what do you think they will do to their vendors? They are extremely unprofessional! STAY AWAY!
non payment
I own a small repair service company in New York. SOS does not pay there bills.
I have been given every excuse in the book, I am giving all info to my lawyer, and will be leaving a bad review on every social media outlet and search engine.
I would never do work for them again.I can only warn all and every contractor, no matter how big or small. They will just move on to the next victim

I was contacted by SOS Maintenance Nov.2015, to remove and install flooring at the Cuba Illinois Post office and after reducing my bid to help this company get the job done they have yet to pay me, the Post Master was happy the public loved it but i can't get paid, I finished Nov. 12, 2015 and submitted all paperwork I called SOS and they said they didn't know why it wasn't processed and i would receive a check in 5 to 10 days well its been 19 days i called Monday of this week they said it will be Friday (today) i called today and they said it will be next week so i think i am getting the runaround so if i don't hear from SOS ASAP I will be contacting this Post office and talking to who is in charge for hiring Maintenance company's for work on this Post office and get as many numbers and Emails i can for all Post Offices in the country and start reviewing SOS on every thing their name pops up on and send as many emails to human resource departments for Malls and dept. stores like i had to with Advance Facilities Maintenance which now no longer exists.
no pay
I have done several jobs for this company and not received 1 payment to date. Yet today I received a call stating that I will not get paid for what I did and on top that I need to return to a job and speak to mall security and maintenance to allow me to go into restricted areas to find a problem. This company is a bottom feeder and very unprofessional in their dealings. I asked to speak to a manager and explained what I was told about not receiving payment and he stated that that was correct. I calmly explained to expect a lawsuit within 60 days for non-payment. New York State allows for a lien to be placed and since I did work for Kohl's, Pizza Hut, and Payless Shoe store they are going to have to explain to these stores why I placed a lien on them when they paid the bills but did not pay the sub contractor that actually did the work. I also have all the paper work signed from the store employees and managers. So needless to say this ought to be fun.
non payment of multiple bills
We put up multiple signs for SOS Maintenance in multiple locations. Much of the work was done in a snow storm on an emergency basis. We itemized the bills multiple times. Since the winter, we have been asking for payment for the work that we did for this company. Our workers had to buy extra supplies, and show up at a moment's notice. We priced the labor...

Had done a fair amount of business with this company, then they just stopped paying. If you ever get a call form Erica Guzman or Tom Sanders, run for the hills. Now it seems the only phone number I have has been disconnected. Do NOT ever do business with this company! S.O.S. Maintenance Services, Inc. made over $100.00 per hour on our labor and supplies while the only payment we have received from them is the run around. We are calling them (on our nickel) continuously requesting payment we have let Erica know we will reported them to Huntington Learning Center and we will be placing a lien on the Huntington Learning Center property.

We installed a floor for the Outback Restaraunt in burlington, vt at the request of Luis Arroyo at SOS Maintenance. We have submitted all paperwork that is required which has been confirmed by Luis. The work was completed on March 28, 2015 and we still have not been paid. We have spoken to Luis numerous times he gave us a wrong number for accounts payable, then finally a number for Lisette. Lisette assured us that the 'check has been cut' and even gave us a check number, that was over two weeks ago. After more phone calls she told us a replacement check was mailed because they have had issues with fraud and our new check was sent priority mail. Still no check. I've called BBB and the Attorney General. I plan to file as small claims case as well. I will be visiting the manager of the outback as well and let them know what type of property maintence company they have. I will tell anyone that will listen never to do business with SOS.

We were contracted for two jobs recently, one was for after hours service. After clearly stating what our after hours rates were and discussing with them what the expectations were, we performed the service and got the system running for their client. Months after the work was performed when following up about late payment, it was brought to our attention that they don't have notes in their system detailing the after hours charges that were discussed and they refused to pay the invoice. This is after having another invoice with an incredibly slow pay. I would suggest all contractors that value their time and provide quality service steer clear of this company as a potential customer. I told them that we would require payment or it would be sent to an outside collections service. Our company was built on strong relationships with long term customers, and this company is as far from that as you can get.
Do Not work with this company. s.o.s maintenance dose not keep up the estimates sent. Several persons will call about the same job. When they do have your estimate after being sent multiple times days, week later will ask if you can go out the next day.
I believe most of the people who work for this company have zero clue how business is actually run. And how handymen, trades men, and quality workers actually work.
And they have zero concept of how to schedule.
Trust me when I say your better off.
INV-3127 dd 21 JAN 2018 with Peter's Handyman Services Inc.
Work was performed for ESCADA 170 Thurlow St, Vancouver to make and install counter tops.
Several reminders have been sent by emails and each time the emails bounced. No response from anyone in the company.
We are coming up on Q4 2017 and Q1 2018, and Pete and SOS have not changed at all. They still are slow payers, when confronted about the situation people ramble on, and Pete said do we need to reassign the work to someone else.
At the time of this posting, I am out looking for new FM's to work with, that do Direct Deposit, Pay On Time, and not try to lie to you.
If we ever decide to work for SOS again, our policies will change, and they will sign a legal document of our terms and conditions.
We have contractor lien laws in our state, and we contemplate using them
someone called zain khan called us to do service on a property and explicitly told us not to reveal the cost to anybody but him (sounds like he was trying to charge them over 100/hour in labor again like the original complaint says). luckily my colleague was able to sense something was not right and told the tech let us know when you are there and we will run the credit card for the service fee, when we did that...credit card was reported stolen!
I have done the work for these jobs in September, November and December 2014 and have submitted the paperwork when the jobs were done, then resubmitted the following times to:
jsantiago@sosmaintenanceinc.com December 4 2014,
then again to pete@sosmaintenanceinc.com on March 3, 2015,
then AGAIN to palmonor@sosmaintenanceinc.com on April 8, 2015,
and YET AGAIN to ap@sosmaintenanceinc.com on August 24, 2015
Then to ALL of you on January 22, 2016
And TODAY to you ALL AGAIN!
This now makes 7 times that I have submitted these jobs for payment! I have been VERY patient waiting for these to be paid. I have done other jobs with SOS Maintenance since these and they have all been paid within about 3 months of completion. The oldest job is now 16 months completed! What is up with these jobs? I am very frustrated – WHEN CAN I EXPECT PAYMENT FOR THESE JOBS?
Can someone please call me and tell me what is going to be done to resolve this and when I can expect to be paid?
Thank you,
Dave Brown

We are a Handyman & Cleaning Company, that serviced a Hertz Car Rental location in Worcester, MA mid November 2015.
Our quote was approved and additional funds were also approved as there were many materials lacking that were necessary for the work. As we were beginning the work by preparing the site and buying the missing supplies that night, I had to use my personal funds to purchase the supplies($200.00).
We did the tile/carpet work and all the side details over a weekend, since the location was open all week. Once everything was finished and the Regional and Location managers were completely satisfied with the results, I informed S.O.S. Maintenance Services, compiled and emailed all their required paperwork and received confirmation from them (that everything necessary to send payment has been received). The manager at S.O.S assured me I would be payed within 21-30 days, and later again I was told it would be 30-45 days which we originally agreed on.
It has been two months since the 30-45 day period has ended. The first call where their ap department actually picked up, I was told "somehow" they missed it and payment would be sent that week and like I said that was two months ago! I have called and emailed them since then with no response at all, no payment, not even an excuse, nothing.
I will be contacting the manager at the Hertz Car Rental in Worcester, MA as well as the Regional manager who was the one present the whole two days we were there working. I will also be contacting the Hertz Corporate office with the advisement of the Regional manager. And I will pursue every avenue possible, including putting a lien hold on the Hertz Location, in order to receive not only the $200.00 of my personal money spent on this job, but also the $3, 200.00 that S.O.S agreed to pay for the services rendered.

We completed a work order for SOS Maintenance at BB&T Bank on 11/18/2015. The signed work order, invoice and all supporting paperwork was submitted on 11/19/2015. SOS Maintenance offered to pay us on NET 21 payment terms since this was our first time working with them. I called SOS on 12/17/2015 to check on the status of our payment and was told by accounts payable that the check would be mailed by 12/25/2015. We never received the check so I called again on 12/30/2015. I was told by accounts payable that I would receive a call back with the status of payment that afternoon. I never received a call back so I called again on 12/31/2015. This time Keara D'Arcy from accounts payable told me the connection was bad and asked me to call back. I tried calling back multiple times that afternoon and none of my calls were answered. I called Keara D'Arcy again on 01/04/2016 and was told again that they did not have my invoice on file. I once again sent the signed work order and invoice. I emailed Keara D'Arcy again on 01/07/2016 to ask about the status of payment and was told the payment would go out in 5-10 business days. As of 01/14/2016 we have not received payment.
We are currently a service provider for over twenty national maintenance companies. SOS Maintenance has been by far the most unprofessional to deal with. I would advise all other contractors not to do business with them.
From Claymont DE, did some work for SOS in July 2015 and then again in Aug 2015. Still haven't been paid for either job. We would like the money for the services we provided please. Thanks.
