I gotta say, I had a bit of a rough time trying to place my order on Scientific Sales' website. I'm not sure if it was their site acting up or my computer being finicky, but I had to enter my information in three whole times before it finally went through and my order was placed. And let me tell you, that was a bit frustrating.

I tried using Amazon Pay at first, but it told me there was some kind of block in place that I couldn't seem to unblock. So I switched over to entering my credit card information manually, but when I hit submit, it just erased everything and told me I could only ship to my billing address. Which, by the way, was the option I had already chosen. Ugh.

But on the third try, everything finally went through without a hitch. I don't usually have these kinds of issues when ordering online, so it was a bit of a surprise. I just hope I don't end up getting charged more than once or something like that.

All that being said, I'm still looking forward to receiving my item from Scientific Sales. As long as it arrives in good condition and I don't have any more issues, I'll be happy.

I recently made my first purchase from Scientific Sales and I must say, things are going pretty well so far. The system is up and running, but I do have a slight concern about the calibrations. There seems to be a 3 degree difference between what my house A/C is reading and what the console is showing. Additionally, a weather station near me is reporting the outside temperature as being about 3 degrees colder. I'm planning on reading through all of the manuals thoroughly before making a final judgement, but I think I may need to do a bit more work on my end to ensure everything is calibrated correctly.

One thing I'm considering is purchasing a compass to make sure that the Vantage is pointing true South. I think this could potentially help with the calibration issues I'm experiencing. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase from Scientific Sales, but there are definitely some things I need to work on to ensure everything is running smoothly. Scientific Sales is a website that sells a variety of scientific equipment and supplies. I recently ordered from them and was a bit confused about their free shipping policy. It wasn't clear which carrier they use for free shipping, and I was worried that it might not be USPS, which is the only carrier that can deliver to my billing address. I live on an island with no road access, so if it ships by UPS, they have to call me and figure out where to deliver it. I do have a UPS mailbox on the mainland, but UPS can't use that. To make matters worse, I use a different shipping address on the mainland for UPS and FedEx. Not allowing a separate billing address is something I have never encountered before, and it's a real pain in the butt for me.

I gotta tell ya, I am absolutely in love with Scientific Sales. I mean, I've got not one, not two, not three, but FOUR Vantage Pro consoles in my humble abode. And let me tell you, as someone who's all about aviation and weather, these babies are a constant source of intrigue, knowledge, and even a little bit of fun.

I've got my anemometer perched up high on a retired telephone pole that stands a whopping 36 feet tall. And the sensors? Well, they're mounted a cool 6 feet above ground level on that same pole. And let me tell you, this wireless system is the bee's knees. I've never had a single problem with it (except for that one time when lightning struck my pole and things got a little dicey).

But you know what? I never worry about a thing when it comes to Davis products and Scientific Sales. These guys have got a reputation for being reliable and having top-notch customer service, and I've gotta say, they've never let me down. I'm always recommending their stuff to my fellow pilot pals, and I know they won't be disappointed.

I am so happy that I stumbled upon Scientific Sales website! My husband is going to be over the moon when he receives his new Weather Station. We had an old one, the Weather Wizard, that we have had for ages, but it finally gave up the ghost. Thankfully, I was able to speak to a real person, Tom, on the phone to ask some questions about the new Weather Station before I placed my order. It was great to have someone knowledgeable to talk to and get some advice from.

I placed my order on December 15th, 2017, and was thrilled to receive it just a few days later on December 11th. The shipping was free, which was a huge bonus, and the service was excellent. My husband was so excited to get his early Christmas present and had the Weather Station installed the very next day. He absolutely loves it and has been checking the weather every day since.

I cannot thank Scientific Sales enough for their great service, timely shipping, and excellent product. It is so refreshing to find a company that truly cares about their customers and goes above and beyond to make sure they are happy. I gotta say, I've used Scientific Sales before and I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with their service. They got me what I needed, when I needed it, and at a price that didn't break the bank. I've been using Davis Instruments for a while now and Scientific Sales is my go-to for all my Davis needs. Recently, I had to get a whole new Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station because my old one got zapped by lightning. But, thanks to Scientific Sales, I was able to get everything I needed to get back up and running in no time.

But, that's not all. Scientific Sales has a ton of other weather-related equipment at all different price points. I ended up snagging a SkyScan lightning detector so I can at least know when the next bolt is coming my way. It might not save me from getting hit again, but at least I'll be prepared.

Overall, I'm super happy with my experience with Scientific Sales and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They've got great prices, fast delivery, and a wide selection of products to choose from. If you're in the market for anything weather-related, I'd definitely recommend giving them a shot.

Prices at Scientific Sales are pretty good and the customer service is friendly and helpful. I got my product and it's good quality, but the installation documentation could use some work. I think Davis Instruments are good quality, but their pricing is too high compared to other more advanced technology products. They make you buy the WeatherLink software along with the logger, and it's outdated and not suitable for most people who want to use the PWS to upload data to weather networks. I only bought the USB data logger so I could connect to MeteoBridge to transmit data to Weather Underground and NWS COWP. The TP-LINK TL-MR3020 3G/4G Wireless N Router is the heart of the system and much more complex in design than the USB data logger, yet it's only a quarter of the price ($30).

I wish the installation documentation was better because it took me a while to figure out how to set everything up. But once I got it working, it's been great. The USB data logger is easy to use and connects to MeteoBridge without any issues. The router is a bit more complicated, but it's worth it because it allows me to transmit data to multiple weather networks.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase from Scientific Sales. The prices are good and the customer service is friendly. The only downside is the outdated WeatherLink software, but there are workarounds like using MeteoBridge. If you're looking for a PWS, I would recommend checking out Scientific Sales.

I got my hands on the 6312 Davis Console from Scientific Sales and let me tell you, it's a real beauty. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived at my doorstep in just two days. I was eager to try it out and see how it would perform. I was not disappointed. The console worked like a charm as a stand-alone unit. However, when I tried to connect it to my Wunderground web page via the existing serial port version of the data port I had removed from my old console and inserted into the new one, I ran into some trouble.

I was at a loss on what to do next, so I decided to give Scientific Sales a call. The person on the other end of the line was very knowledgeable and helpful. They suggested that I call Davis and gave me the number of a technician who could help me out. I was a bit hesitant at first, but I decided to give it a shot. I called Davis, and the technician was able to help me out. It turned out that I needed the USB version of the data port, which Davis was kind enough to send to me for free in advance. All I had to do was return the serial version to them when I received the USB one. I was relieved to hear that since the USB version costs more than $100.

I am now eagerly waiting for the new USB version to arrive, and I fully expect it to work like a charm. I am so grateful to Scientific Sales for their excellent customer service and advice. Without their help, I would have been lost. Thanks again for the new 6312 and the very good advice. I highly recommend Scientific Sales to anyone looking for quality scientific equipment.

I've been dealing with Scientific Sales for a good 17 years now, and I've got to say, I'm not too happy with their service lately. I've made several orders from them, from upgrading my weather stations to purchasing parts, and I've even recommended them to 10 of my friends who also made purchases from them. However, my recent experience with them has been quite frustrating.

About two months ago, I made an order and even made the payment for it. However, for almost a month, the status of my order was stuck on "Processing". I tried to reach out to them to check what was happening, but I didn't receive any response from them. To my surprise, I found out that they had canceled my order without even giving me a reason why.

Not one to give up easily, I decided to make the order again, and this time, I made sure to include the payment. However, the same thing happened again. The status of my order was stuck on "Processing", and there was no update on the site. I didn't receive any tracking number or any information about my order.

What's even more frustrating is that Scientific Sales doesn't seem to update their customers about what's happening with their orders, even after they've made the payment. They also don't cancel the order, which makes it even more confusing for customers like me.

To make matters worse, I had a similar experience with them about a year ago when I had a data logger failure. I wanted to get it serviced, but I received a "cold" reply from them.

Overall, I'm quite disappointed with the service I've received from Scientific Sales lately. I hope they can improve their customer service and communication with their customers.

Like, come on, give me some more info about what I'm buying! I had to go to other websites just to figure out what I needed to know. And don't even get me started on the shipping charges. They're way too high, man. Like, I get that shipping ain't free, but they're definitely marking it up way more than they need to. Overall, I'd say Scientific Sales is just okay. Nothing special, but not terrible either.

It'd be a whole lot smoother if they let you create an account before you go through the PayPal process. That way, they could double-check the info that PayPal gives 'em about the person buying stuff.

Scientific Sales ain't too bad, but their PayPal interface could use some work. I had to fill out the form three times before it finally went through. And don't even bother clicking on the blue PayPal icon, it'll just take you to PayPal's homepage instead of the checkout screen. The orange icon is the only one that works.

And then they ask for phone numbers for both billing and shipping addresses, which is just plain annoying. I almost gave up on my order altogether. But I stuck with it and eventually got what I needed.

And if that's the case, then scientificsales.com might be missing out on some serious business. I mean, I'm a retired web programmer and even I had trouble with this dang website. So, I'm just saying, maybe they should let their IT folks know about this issue and see if they can fix it. It would be a shame for them to lose out on potential customers just because of some wonky website compatibility issues.

So, I was trying to buy something from Scientific Sales (scientificsales.com) and let me tell you, it was a bit of a hassle. I had an account already, but I hadn't used it in like seven years, so I couldn't remember my password. And let me tell you, the cookie manager on the site was not being very helpful. It just kept holding onto my old info and wouldn't let me place my order. I had to go and wipe my history in Chrome and even reboot my computer just to get rid of the old info. And then, to make matters worse, I had to remove the item I wanted from my cart and start all over again. But finally, after all that, I was able to place my order. I had to use PayPal though, which I don't really like to use. But hey, at least I got what I wanted in the end.
