Disappointed
I’ve had some small woods gifted to me so I was extremely excited to get some made of my wedding pictures. I got 5 for myself and 2 as gifts. My order was around $350. They came out so dark and the backgrounds look almost black. I contacted customer support who told me to send photos of them. Then told me pretty much sorry too bad you can ask us next time if the pictures are vibrant enough. I probably won’t be ordering more or recommending.

Disappointing Quality and Customer Service from Smallwoods: A Review
I gotta say, I was pretty bummed out when I got my order from Smallwoods. I had uploaded some real nice photos that were professionally done, but when they arrived, they were all blurry! I mean, come on, these were supposed to be high-quality prints. And to top it off, the frames looked unfinished. The seams were a different color than the black frame, which made it look real cheap.
So, I reached out to Smallwoods to see if they could do anything about it. They told me they had a screenshot of a pop-up I supposedly received before ordering. I don't know how that's possible, but whatever. There was only one pop-up message on one of the four pictures I uploaded, and I changed it right away. But they still wouldn't do anything for me. They just said sorry, but it was a custom order, so tough luck.
It's a real shame, too, because I was really excited to order from Smallwoods and build a full gallery wall over time. But now, I don't think I'll be ordering from them again. I'd recommend going with someone more professional, like Printique or something. Maybe other people have had better luck, but I sure didn't.
Smallwoods Review: Disappointed with Image Quality and Customer Service
When I ordered a picture from Smallwoods, I was excited to bring it home and display it in my house. However, upon receiving the package, I was disappointed to find that the image was incredibly blurry. I immediately reached out to their customer service team, hoping to find a solution to this problem. Unfortunately, I was informed that Smallwoods does not assume responsibility for the quality of the image during the printing process. Although they confirmed that the picture was blurry on their end, they offered me only a partial refund of 20%, which I found to be less than satisfactory. I was disappointed and frustrated with the lack of attention given to my concerns, as well as their unwillingness to provide a solution that would meet my needs.
I believe that Smallwoods should have been more conscientious when it came to the image quality, and should have let me know about the lack of clarity beforehand. If I had been informed, I would have submitted an alternate image, which would have eliminated the problem altogether. Instead, I was left with a less-than-stellar product and a disappointing experience with the company.
While I do appreciate the fact that Smallwoods provided a refund, I found the amount to be insufficient and the process to be a hassle. As a result of this experience, I am reluctant to use their services again. I feel that Smallwoods should place a higher priority on customer satisfaction and go above and beyond to address any issues that arise. In conclusion, I give Smallwoods two stars, not for their product quality or customer service, but for providing a partial refund.
Mistaken Photo and Poor Customer Service from Smallwoods
I recently ordered three large pictures of my children from Smallwoods, which I was excited to receive. When the first two pictures arrived and I opened them, they appeared to be fine. However, my excitement soon turned into disappointment when I opened the third box and found that instead of a picture of my son, it was a photo of a family that I did not recognize! This mistake left me feeling frustrated and annoyed, but I was determined to rectify the situation.
I decided to contact Smallwoods' customer support team in the hopes of getting the correct photo sent to me. After a bit of back-and-forth, they finally agreed to ship the right photo to me. However, when I received it, I was disappointed yet again to find that they had used the wrong color for the frame! The photo was framed in black, which did not match the brown frames used for the other two pictures that I had received.
I contacted Ellie from their support team once more and expressed my frustration that they had not gotten it right the first time. This time, I requested that they resend the picture with the correct framing as well as reimburse me for the cost of that image. However, I was told that Smallwoods would only replace the photo or refund me, but not both. This left me feeling upset and disappointed.
In the end, I reluctantly accepted their offer to replace the photo but vowed never to order from them again due to their poor customer service. It's unfortunate that my experience with Smallwoods was not a positive one, as there are many other companies out there that specialize in this kind of work and offer much better customer service.
Overall, it's best to avoid Smallwoods and seek out a more reliable and professional service that can deliver your expectations, safely and with quality control in place.

Beware of Smallwoods: High prices and poor customer service
I recently purchased over $600 worth of giant photos from Smallwoods, and while most of them turned out great, unfortunately one did not meet my expectations. When I reached out to their customer service for assistance, I was disappointed by their lack of concern and unwillingness to help. Despite the fact that these large prints cost $180 each, they refused to take any responsibility or offer any solution to my problem. This experience left me feeling that the company cares more about making a profit than providing quality products and excellent customer service.
I was initially happy with my experience with Smallwoods until I had to deal with their customer service. Frankly, I was shocked by the lack of care and attention they gave me as a customer who had spent a significant amount of money on their products. I believe it's unfair that they charge such high prices for these prints and refuse to stand behind them or offer any assistance when something goes wrong.
It's worth noting that Smallwoods does not allow negative reviews to be posted on their website, which seems disingenuous and unhelpful to potential customers. Instead, they prefer to sugarcoat the situation and pretend that they are perfect in every way. This dishonesty only adds to my disappointment with the brand.
Overall, I would advise anyone considering purchasing from Smallwoods to think twice about whether it's worth it. While some of their products are of good quality, their lack of customer support and high prices make it a risky investment. Don't make the same mistake I did - spend your money elsewhere where you can be sure of getting the quality and support you deserve.
Smallwoods Home Review: Frustrating Customer Service Experience
I had the pleasure of checking out Smallwoods' website, smallwoodhome.com, and was excited to place an order for two framed images. My anticipation grew as I waited for the items to arrive, but to my dismay, the package came with a huge footprint on the box, and one of the prints ended up being damaged as a result. This was certainly a frustrating turn of events, and I quickly reached out to Smallwoods by email to request a replacement.
To my disappointment, the company's initial response was not what I was hoping for. Instead of offering to replace the damaged print, they instead offered a measly 20% discount on a second order. This seemed like an unfair and unreasonable request, especially considering that I had already paid full price and waited patiently for the initial order to arrive. I decided to push back against this action and emailed Smallwood's customer service again, insisting that this was an unacceptable solution.
Finally, the company agreed to send me a replacement order, which I appreciated and received in a timely manner. However, the whole process left a bad taste in my mouth -- I felt like I had to fight tooth and nail for a product that should have arrived in good condition in the first place. I even called Smallwoods to try to get a better understanding of their customer service practices, but was left with the impression that they weren't committed to providing satisfactory solutions to their mistakes.
Overall, I would caution anyone who's considering ordering from Smallwoods to beware of their ethics and customer service practices. While I did eventually receive a replacement for my damaged item, the hoops I had to jump through to get there were frustrating and unnecessary. There are plenty of other online retailers that are more trustworthy and customer-friendly, and I'll be looking elsewhere for my future home decor needs.
Smallwoods' Unsatisfactory Customer Service and Product Quality Disappoints Bride-to-Be
As a bride-to-be, I was thrilled to come across Smallwoods and their promise of capturing the magical moments of my special day on photo. Excitedly, I placed an order for three photos of my wedding and eagerly awaited their arrival. When the photos arrived, I was taken aback to find that one of them was blurry and did not meet my expectations. Determined to resolve the situation, I followed the instructions on the Smallwoods website to report the issue and received an email response indicating that I had waited beyond the 24-hour period to report the issue and therefore, now there was nothing they could do for me.
Feeling desperate for a resolution, I decided to reach out to Smallwoods customer service via phone and explained the situation. To my dismay, they directed me to their portal to submit a ticket and would not provide me with any resolution over the phone. I complied and submitted a ticket, expecting a positive response. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed by the response I received - Smallwoods customer service insisted that there was no fixing the custom order and that it was my fault for using a low-quality photograph, although it matched those of my professional photographer. Irritated but still determined, I provided evidence proving that the photograph met their requirements, but Smallwoods continued to refuse to provide a refund and instead offered me a discount code for future purchases.
As much as I would love to give Smallwoods another chance, this experience left much to be desired. Spending over $100 on the order, I simply cannot justify spending more of my hard-earned money with a company that shows little empathy for their customers' concerns.
Smallwoods Customer Service: Disappointing Response to Damaged Product
As an avid shopper on Smallwoods (smallwoodhome.com), I have found myself admiring and purchasing multiple items which have consistently exceeded my expectations. I have had nothing but positive experiences with this company – until I received a framed print as a Christmas gift that unfortunately arrived with several wrinkles and divots in the corner of the print, and a bent frame that didn't lie flat against the wall.
My disappointment quickly turned to frustration when I contacted Smallwoods customer service in the hopes of requesting a replacement for the damaged item. Unfortunately, they refused to provide a replacement because the 30-day return policy had expired. This policy is understandable, but as the item was a Christmas gift, it had been ordered earlier and was only opened from the original packaging on Christmas day.
Upon speaking with the customer service representative, it was evident that the damage to my gift was not a unique occurrence. They explained it was a common issue with shipping, which often leads to other parcels being stacked on top of the boxes during transport, causing them to become damaged. This explanation did nothing to ease my frustration as I believed a known issue with their shipping standards should have led to them taking more responsibility for the damaged product and providing a replacement.
I've previously been an extremely happy and loyal customer of Smallwoods. However, the refusal to correct the damaged print has left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I hope they will re-evaluate their approach to customer service and delivery standards, as their merchandise and designs are truly unique and beautiful.
Disappointed with Smallwoods: Poor Quality and Customer Service
Recently, I've ordered three times from Smallwoods and have been left with mixed feelings. My first order was absolutely perfect, and the craftsmanship was evident. However, my second order was sent directly to a friend, so I never got to see it in person to assess the quality. Unfortunately, my third order was a complete and utter disappointment.
I had ordered the hanging frames once again, as they are a favorite of mine. However, when I received them, the photographs within the frames were grainy. Furthermore, the wooden pieces at the bottom of the frame were warped and uneven, causing the photos to hang at different heights. It took me painstakingly long to measure and hand-tie the twine to try and create some semblance of uniformity. Despite being let down, I reached out to customer service, hoping they would offer to make things right. But, unfortunately, I received a flat-out 'no' as a response. They informed me that once an order was placed, it was final. I felt utterly ignored, and customer satisfaction was not their priority.
It's frustrating to know that a company that produces excellent products at one time can drastically fall short in the next. It's even more frustrating to watch them disregard customer concerns. I shared my experience with the customer service representative, Mackenzie, and explained that I wouldn't be using their services again. Her solution was to send them images of the flawed prints and see if I could return two of the five I received. Unfortunately, this response wasn't particularly helpful, and it was clear to me that the company was uninterested in addressing legitimate concerns.
Overall, I find it very disappointing that Smallwoods would allow their quality to decline to this level. I sincerely hope that they take the necessary steps to rectify their mistakes and prioritize customer satisfaction moving forward. As for me, I will not be ordering from them again and would caution anyone considering doing so to think twice before they proceed.
Mixed Experience with Smallwoods: Lovely Products, Disappointing Customer Service
My experience with Smallwoods has been a mixed bag. On one hand, the items I have ordered have all been lovely and arrived on time. However, I recently made an error when placing an order and was disappointed with how their customer service handled it. After realizing I had ordered the wrong size, I immediately emailed the company but received an auto response that it could take up to 3 days before I heard back from a representative. I found this to be quite frustrating, as I wanted to rectify my mistake as soon as possible.
The next morning, I called Smallwoods and was placed on hold for quite some time before finally speaking with a representative. I was told that my order had already been printed and there was no way to cancel or modify it. I understand that it was my fault for making the error in the first place, but I was disappointed that there was no option available to rectify the situation. It seems that once an order is placed and printed, it is set in stone.
However, I do believe that Smallwoods could benefit from adding an option for customers to hold or cancel their orders within a certain window of time. It would be helpful for those of us who make mistakes or change our minds soon after placing an order. I was told that the printing takes place before customer service even comes in for the day, which means there is no opportunity to fix an order even if the customer realizes the mistake moments after placing the order.
Despite my negative experience with their customer service process, I do value the quality of Smallwoods' products and their speedy delivery. I will continue to order from them in the future, but will be extra careful when placing my orders to avoid any errors that cannot be fixed.
Unsatisfied with Smallwoods: Lack of Information and Communication
Hello there! Recently, I had an experience with Smallwoods and unfortunately, it left me feeling unsatisfied. As someone who was working on custom orders and uploading my own personal pictures, I expected a better system that could notify me if my images didn't have high enough pixels or resolution. I was told that they recommend 300 pixels per inch, but I couldn't seem to find this information anywhere on their website. To make matters worse, I never received a warning or notification on their website that my picture resolution wouldn't be good enough for the print size I was ordering.
As someone in the middle of a remodel, we had multiple other orders planned to be placed with Smallwoods, but it's safe to say that we will be taking our business elsewhere. This is especially disappointing when reading through other reviews where people have suggested updating the website to include information about pixel and resolution, and providing better customer service that messages the client to verify errors or potential blurry prints before wasting product that will ultimately end up in the trash.
With this being said, the only reason they received two stars from me is due to previous orders that we loved the quality of. I hope they can improve upon their ways and make the necessary changes to create a better experience for all their customers.
Smallwoods' Disappointing Customer Service: My Experience with Purchasing Photos - A Review
I had a really positive experience with smallwoodhome.com in the past, however, I wanted to share my experience with you about a recent order that unfortunately didn't go as smoothly. As a photographer myself, I was thrilled to order six large photos from Smallwoods website, however, I was left feeling incredibly disappointed when my black and white photos showed a distinct green and white discoloration that detracted from the quality and appeal of my images. Initially, I questioned if the lighting on my staircase was responsible for the contrast, but after several months of living with these photographs, I compared the bottom half of my staircase with the top and noticed a significant difference in the color.
I attempted to reach out to Smallwoods customer service line after months of trying to make peace with my order. They were quick to encourage me to send photos and were initially promising in their response. Unfortunately, their remedy to the problem was to offer me a 20% off promotion, similar to what they offer to all customers frequently on their website, which wasn't an acceptable solution given the amount I had spent on my order.
After another attempt to reach customer service, they declined offering me any further help because it had been more than 30 days since I had made my purchase. I was still struggling with the discolored images after 30 days, so it was disappointing to feel like the company had abandoned any responsibility for fixing the problem.
The lack of support from Smallwoods has left me extremely unhappy and feeling a bit robbed. As a result, I posted a review of my experience on Facebook, which the company subsequently removed and blocked me. I feel like this is indicative of a bigger problem; Smallwoods' customer service is not as reliable as it should be. I don't want anyone else to have the same experience as me, so I felt compelled to share my story. Ultimately, I've been left with a handful of poor-quality, unusable images sitting in my closet, that I regret purchasing.
