SM Supermalls review: Good merchandise but chaos displays and too few cashiers

I tried shopping at the SM hypermarket in Pasig. I mentioned tried because I failed to buy my groceries. The merchandise is OK but there is so much chaos in the inventory displays. I found one item in 4 different locations. Prices are not clearly market and it looked like they reset most of the store to display seasonal Christmas items. It took me 40 min to get a few items on my list. And then the adventure started. There was only one priority lane and 2 were in line who did not qualify (unless they were PWD). The person behind me (63 yr old). Was on a wheelchair. Then there was an issue with one sale was taking more than 10 minutes to resolve. I asked if they could open another cashier when the cashier pointed at the other lines which were 4 to 5 people deep. After a few more minutes, I gave up because I had to pick up my daughter and left my groceries in the cart! This is not a good experience and will not be buying from this grocery again. This place needs a lot of work to become a good store.
