Hair follicle test
I just recently was in orientation December 2021 and of course I had to take a dot UA and a pre employment drug screen and I wasn't worried because I don't do drugs. I passed my DOT UA but failed my hair follicle test. To say I was shocked is an understatement because the drug that they say I tested positive for I never have taken in my life let alone any other drugs. I've tried disputing the test. I've asked for a retest even offered to give my blood but the Dr wouldn't even entertain the idea. He was very rude and unprofessional when all I was doing was trying to get an understanding of how this could happen. Asking me when was the last time I've used when I kept telling him I never took a drug in my life. I never felt so humiliated in my life. And from the stories I see. it's the same doctor that everyone else has had problems with in regards to drug tests. For one the specimens are take from one location and sent to another location hundreds of miles away. I feel like my test wasn't handled in a safe Manor to prevent some type of contamination. couldn't get a clear line of communication from anyone to figure out a way things could hopefully be resolved Now I feel like my career is over before it even starts.
False positive drug test
I am currently going through the exact same thing with this company. The exact same doctor (Dr. Lopez) has stated I tested positive for the use of marijuana. I have never consumed any drugs. This doctor is extremely rude and disrespectful. I have been constantly fighting this issue and I continue to get the run around. Has anyone received any legal help are advice.
Hair follicle test result
September 8th of 2021 that I was working for a Pharmaceutical Company, I left the company to become a Trucker and I passed my driving test on October 8th. Started to work for Western Express Inc., for safety purposes I left to join Schneider and I joined the orientation November 1st. On the first day, I did two type of drug screens which were the hair follicle test and the urine analysis. On the October 6th, I was in class taking their final exam and received a call from DR Lopez. He stated that I failed the drug screen, he said that I passed the urine and I didn't pass the Hair follicle test. Then, he questioned me if I ever used Hydrocodone and I said to him no. He insisted that I told that I never used any illegal drugs in my entire life and I was trying to call him after to get more information. He never picked up the phone, it was from a Florida number he called me. So I let the two instructors at the orientation know what's going on and they asked me to leave the premises. I kept trying to reach out to him, he never picked and I received a call from Schneider Safety Department to tell me that I was terminated if I ever need help for drug usage. I told him that I don't do drugs, he refuse to understand me. I went back to find a number that listed on the drug test receipt and number that connected me to Dr Barnett. He asked me to provide him a prescription that I was legally taking Hydrocodone and I kept telling that I maybe exposed to it. Because I manufactured this drug 4 times a week before September 8th. I have documents to prove them that I was working in the pharmaceutical company and a partner with myself manufactured these drugs. The Personal Protective Equipment maybe not secured enough to avoid exposition and didn't know if it would get into my system. He refused to accept me to prove him that I was working for the pharmaceutical company, Tris Pharma Inc and kept asking me for prescription. It is insane to hurt someone chance of getting a job. This is something Schneider National needs to look at.
Desired outcome: Remove this positive test of my record.
Hello my name is Derek Harris I attended three Schneider Intermodal in Fairburn Ga and took a pre employment drug test on the 20th of June 2022 and on the 23rd received a phone call from Dr Lopez. I was told my hair follicle test results were positive for cocaine. I never used illegal drugs in my life.

I have been transporting for schneider for over a year. I was working with one broker. He was a very rude broker but I dealt with it til I could not. I was then given to another broker that was never there. Besides my trucks going down here and there my trucks were consistent for the most part. This broker was not. Always issues with loads. So a lot had to be cancelled because of that. That broker stated he was going to have us removed as carriers and that is not fair or right. His manager basically took the brokers side and cancelled us. I need to speak to someone above his manager. Im trucking llc has done a lot of work for schneider and to be just dropped like that is not right. I do sl loads for schneider and never had one issue with the loads or that broker. drug test policy
Was in orientation for a week. Today, I got terminated, because the same Dr. Lopez mentioned in another post on a page regarding this company revealed an impossible conclusion that I used meth. He said it came up on the hair follicles test. I NEVER TOUCHED THAT STUFF OR ANY OTHER ILLEGAL DRUG IN MY LIFE! I have every intention of getting another identical type of test(follicle and urine) from another doctor and lab when I get home. Now, it is true that I have taken legitimate prescription psychiatric medications before, and currently take one. I even explained this(had done so even before the samples were taken!), but neither Dr. Lopez nor Schneider seemed at all interested in even entertaining the possibility of a false positive. I even asked for a blood test, but was told that 'policy didn't allow for that, we have to let you go'. [censored] ON SCHNEIDER! Now my career is probably finished before it even got started.

There was a black man that came to polks brookshire bro. On 259 n in nacogdoches tx last week. He asked for a jump so me being disabled mind u. I gave him a jump now i have spent 500 plus on my jeep and now im needing a computer. I called and the gentalman i spoke with said he couldnt help me because i didnt get tbe trk number. Well he knows who called in with troubles of u guys trks right? I wasnt thinking i needed the trk number for any reason. I was trying to help a man stranded. I would pay myself but im on a limited income. So now im asking the company to imburse me for what ive already spent with the imbursment of the repairs of my computer. trucking service
We booked 3 loads, on a Thursday, the loads are supposed to be picked up on a Saturday. There were direct instructions to call before you arrived. That is the way our loading operation works. Schneider did what they wanted to do. One truck showed up 1 hour and 47 minutes late, the second truck showed up without calling. The third truck never showed up. No one at Schneider notified us that what was happening. We called don Monday to check delivery status, thinking that someone would have called if there was a problem with the pickup. Not one load was loaded, their only offer was to cancel the loads, or our company to pay them for being late and not following directions, which is what they did and the left us with 3 loads to try to find trucks for. The Supervisor Nate, said he did not care, and he canceled the loads as if our business was no big deal to him. What Schneider has done, is their stock has gone public, they laid off most of their employees, and they have outsourced the jobs to the Philippines. They don't care about your business, and they are poorly trained in tact and professionalism. .
False drug test results
I am a former schneider employee. I applied back in May 2010 to become a team driver again with the company. I did the DOT drug/screen and the company hair testing. I passed the DOT drug testing but to my suprised the hair test results came back positive. I had never in my life taken any kind of illegal drugs or prescribed drugs that were not prescribed to me by my doctor. The MRO doctor that informed me of the results he was cold and rude and spoke to me like i was druggie liar. He refused to give me his supervisors information and no one in his office would tell the name of his superiors. I spoke to schneiders, I believe it was the regulatory department, and tried to explain to them that it was a mistake that i would be more than happy to retake the test even at my cost at that very moment or take a test that went back further than the 90 days. They said it was AGAINST COMPANY POLICY that the only way they would retest was if the mro doctor said there was reason but the mro doctor said he wouldn't say there was reason because when he called he asked if I was on medication i said no because i was not but after he told me the results and i did research on how in the world i could have failed a drug test, the one test i never in life i thought I would fail, I read otc diet pills could cause a false positive and if he would have asked if i HAD TAKEN anything within 90days instead of asking if WAS TAKING anything not giving me a time frame, I would have told him I had taken some strong over the counter diet pills weeks earlier that could have possibly been the cause of the false positive because that's what it was false. i ordered them from the radio and they were not on any list of meds a driver couldn't take. Either the few diet pills i did take was the cause or the test was just flat out wrong. but since he didn't schneider put me on a black list which is not fair. I tried to speak to supervisors and supervisors bosses at schneider and the mro office but everyone stone walled me. I was told I couldn't apply with the company for 5 years and my husband was hired on and i rode with him until he was told by his dispatcher that i couldn't even be in the truck. This experience has not kept me from getting a job in any way i am currently employed driving i have taken hair sample tests for employers over they years spur of the moment and have had no issues at all. I will never again ever in life apply with schneider because of the way I was talked to and treated by company employees and the mro office. My issue with schneider, the reason that I just cant let it go is that another driver out of NC i believe failed his hair test it came back positive he told them it was a mistake and they RETESTED. For ME its against company policy to retest but for HIM its sure buddy we'll retest. his test came back negative and he has been a happy schneider driver ever since. WHY when this OLDER MALE driver failed and said it was a mistake he was retested but me a YOUNGER FEMALE was treated like trash on crack, banned and black listed for several years? Can someone please explain this too me because its not right.

Well I use to be a drug user but I changed my life and wanted to start a new career I told the recruiter this and they assured me it was a 90 day hair follicle text but when the doctor called and told me I failed he told me that it can be detected in my hair for up to a year if Schneider would have told me this I would have never applied because I know I had used 5 months ago but because they told me it only goes back 90 days I thought I was good. It’s like you work so hard to get sober and start a new life and they try to ruin it by lying about how far this hair follicle test goes back
I went to schneider in november 2022. I was there for 3 day, then I got a call from "Dr.Lopez". He told me that my urine test came back negative. However, my hair follicle came back positive for marijuana. I just got my CDL in APRIL! at that time I was going back and forth for custody for my Grandchild. So that being said I had to get a drug test for the courts. Deal with Dss and a lawyer. So how is it that my hair follicle was positive but the courts test came back negative.. So all of that just do not make any sense and that was a 10 panel test for the courts. My Doctor tried to call lopez and he did not return her call. On top of all that,I asked him what color hair was tested and he said brown my hair was red at the time of the test... Now everytime I put in applications but no one will hire me. all because Of lopez. and before I went with schneider I took a hair follicle for a different Company and it was negative. I HAVE NEVER DID DRUGS...
The hire test is full of bull I tested positive in I never touch that drug in my life. One other I received a urine drug test once a month past years all was negative any so why was my hair test positive? Seriously insane I asked for retest and the doctor was rude treated me like a piece of crapp . Anyways I don't care who passes judgment on this post but why lie? No one knows who I'm pretty sure some liberal will. Anyways going luck do away hair test not accurate.
I’m currently going through the Sam issue with Schneider and I’m wondering will I ever be able to get a job because of the dac report. I just took a test after they said I failed to prove that it’s not correct and I’m talking this as far as I possibly can I’ll get a lawyer

I received phone call today from a doctor that my test came back positive for cocaine. I was in the training yard, so I couldn’t hear what he’s talking., he asked if I use any medications. No of course not.
Than he said that I tested positive for cocaine from hair follicle test. - after that immediately hang up and didn’t picked up his phone.
I was shocked, and depressed, I’m new truck driver, passed my license on May 3. That will basically ruin my career before it even started.
If Id use any drug within last couple years obviously I wouldn’t do a test! How stupid!
I knew I wasn’t going to be positive! I was laughing and making jokes with a nurse. And yet it was positive for cocaine.
When I had covid I didn’t even wanted to take no medicine for it, because I hate any type of pills or whatever and guy is telling me I’m junkie cocaine head!
I’m sure I never did nothing in my life, I believe all the victims on this page because I’m in the same shoes.
Did you had this case resolved anyhow? Or what was your steps after that? Was it reported on clearinghouse? Or are you able to find jobs after that disaster?
I agree I have been off work because of an accident. I requested to return to work and had to do a drug test. Which was fine with me because I’m on no drugs and have never done drugs. Dr Lopez called me and talked to me like a dog. He told me I tested positive for amphetamines I know this isn’t possible he started telling me I’m taking other peoples adhd meds. I don’t have adhd. He was so rude. I kept calling back spoke with his assistant Donna who told me that dr Lopez put a note that I admitted that my husband takes meth. Well I don’t have a husband I don’t even have a boyfriend he flat out lied. I have been requesting my levels and the company is giving me a hard time. Something is very fishy about this guy.

I just got a cold call from Dr. Lopez today (03/02/2022) too stating my hair follicle test came back positive for COCAINE and I’ve never used drugs a day in my life! I was really looking towards this career change and he took that away from me! He gave me the cold shoulder as if I was a druggie. I’ve cried for most of the day due to this! After all that has happened with Covid, this was my way of basically getting my life back together, I’m distraught!

This same thing just happened to me last week and I never touched drugs a day in my life..I don't understand..I've been looking for someone with the same situation as me and now I see I'm not alone that office is ruining lives .I passed the dot urine test but not the hair test .was talked to by the Dr as if I was some kind of addict and I felt very disrespected. He was very cold and condescending towards me
The same Dr. Lopez called me and stated that I was tested positive on the hair follicle test. Then, it was negative on the urine analysis test. Did I ever use any Hydrocodone, I told him no and kept calling his number after more information about the test. He never picked up, another Dr. names Barnett picked up for him and asked me for the prescription. I said to him that I don’t do drugs, I maybe exposed to drugs and I manufactured all these drugs before I became a trucker. He said that he won’t overturn the result until that I give the prescription. Nothing shows on my Clearinghouse yet. If it ever shows, I will hire an attorney to fight that and show them that I had worked for a pharmaceutical company. Then, I could’ve been exposed and it got into my blood stream. Schneider just lost a hell of damn good employee!

Termination
Some time after going through orientation and finally getting the perfect team partner, we were on the road going through Wyoming in March. A blizzard shut down I-80 east and westbound, so we stopped in the Little America truck stop parking lot. After about two hours of blizzard conditions, I decided to get a couple of beers to blow off some steam from some hard running. I thought nothing of it, but the snitch who saw me buy the beer and follow me to the truck had other ideas. I was never told in oreintation and have read CDL manuals from several states that say nothing about it. The highway was shut down for 18 hours, and being a team, we would be ready for the next shift. We were contacted on the Qualcom and sent to a hotel room immediately. The next morning we were contacted by our DBL, and without any kind of program or some sort of way to be put back in their graces we were terminated on the spot. They arranged for a rental, and that was that. When I returned the rental and sent in the receipts for reembersment they said that the prices didn't match the negotiated price. I told them I had nothing to do with the bargain and expected to be reimbersed for what I had spent. Instead I was stuck with 400+ dollars worth of the bill. Not only were we terminated with no program for reinstatement, I was stuck with a bill of more than $400. Out of a job in BFE, forced to get a rental I didn't agree to, and stuck with a bill I didn't have money for. Now I have a busted bank, a ###ed up record and little possibility of second chance to prove myself. Had I to do it again, of course I would get the motel room first, knowing spies are everywhere, and just know that those people who snitch will get there just deserves.

Accidents are caused by drivers not following rules or using brake lights especially in a truck that large. The picture will show the turning truck. This accused on Wednesday May 31, 2023 when I was leaving jiffy lube. I was a block away after leaving.
Drive merged into my lane and ran me off the road into the grass and continued to keep driving after they merged I was able to get back on the road and get a picture of the drivers truck number. It was a Caucasian female and an African-American male in the truck. on Wednesday, January 25 at 8:10 AM between exit 144 and Richmond Hill.

Fraud and lies
I drove for Schneider National Carriers for a year as a company driver, then decided to try to become an owner operator through their tractor lease to own program.
The deck was stacked against me before I ever left the yard due to several factors: High fuel costs (fuel surcharge was never enough even when driving slower than company trucks), low miles due to dispatcher/ truck constantly being in shop for repairs (truck was a complete lemon).
For 8 months I struggled to make a profit, but could never make it. Schneiders lease program is a sham and it is impossible to succeed unless you violate DOT rules.

I had almost 6 years truck driving experience with different companies before I decided to lease with Schneider. So, I felt like I knew how the system works. With Schneider you pick your own loads, however, the loads are only 80 cents to 1 dollar (if you're lucky) per mile. Unfortunately, there was no way I could make ends meet since fuel is about 30 cents per mile and your maintenance account will be about 30 cents per mile. Then there's the DEF expense, which is an additional $40 every few trips. Also, you'll need washer fluid, $300 chains, oil, and forced maintenance by Schneider. What does that add up to? -You are set up for failure, which seems to be exactly what they want to happen to you. The truck payment and full coverage insurance (you'll want that -by the way, since some idiot could hit your truck and a hawk might crack your windshield) was just over $1200 per week! I should have backed away slowly once I found that out! You are set up to only earn about $800 per week. Even when you run hard. So by the end of the week, you'll end up owing Schneider $400. If you don't have savings, forget about it. I had to borrow money from family just to pay them. I stayed with it for several months. I figured out that the ONLY way you can make it is through hiring a second driver since you can't afford to stop rolling. Anyway, once I dropped off my keys and truck (cleaner than when I got it) with Schneider and they told me I still owed them $2800! Well, I paid it off with the help of my family. Then I received my M-1099 as an "independent contractor." Schneider claimed that I made over $10, 000 in the few months that I worked there. That was a big fat lie! So, I took out all my saved receipts and barely broke even! In the mail they keep advertising that they want a company driver... Pfffffft! Never!

This soft starter is being utilized for motor rating 110 KW & 180 amp, As motor is inbuilt Delta so configuration setting of connection type must be LINE but setting is not changing it is only Delta. I think Schneider could be a good company if they wanted to. Despite slashing the throats of competitors in the freight war, they now have to swallow what they created, which is lower freight rates. They also have decided to make owner operators pay thier base plates and permits. You might have a good week, or two, then you will break even. Its hard for them to keep everyone happy because with 12, 000 drivers and 7, 000 loads, someone is not going to get a paycheck that week. They will let you make good money, 1, 200.00 to 1, 800.00 a week for a couple months, then you will sit and wait to get a load. If 1900 miles a week seem a lot to you, think again when your bills and fuel are 2200 a week! They really need to take care of the owner operators that are dedicated to them for truck payment, because if they made decent money they wouldnt turn the truck in and file bankruptcy! Hope you can make it, because Im sinking fast!
Schneider freight is cheap and this company will run your truck in the ground.There freight is set up so you only can make so much money per week with schduled load and unload times its almost impossible to make a decent living.Ya you may get a pay settlement every week but most of the money you make goes right back in there hands.I strongly discourage anyone that is an owner operator to buisness with this company they are crooked.
Fraud and cheating
I decided to go thur Schneider Training program after talking to my friends and checking them on the internet (www.schneider.com). So i went thur the interview and they sent me the paperwork and the Contract for the cost of the program. Which is about $3500. So i sign it and i went to training in GreenBay on Jan 12 2004. When i got there everything was fine until i slip on there yard (they didn't clean off the ice) and hurt my knee. So i had to go to the hospital and i got sent home the next day by (Don). So i got clear by my doctor and i went back on the 19th and i pass the Training Class. Now i went thur JumpStart and pass thur that.
I went over the road with Truck Driver Trainer I thought i was going to become a truck driver. I thought wrong, I was packing for the next road trip when Schneider call me. She said on my application i said i was never had a suspended license before. Now when i apply online i made a mistake on the application. I said yes for everything. When i suppose to said NO. But Lisa Call back And i told her NO for the other questions, but when she ask me of the Suspended License i told her Yes back in 1998 in Indiana for no insurance on my car.She said she is going to said NO because its not important. Well i guess it was because the terminate me from the program because of this suspending license i had in 98 for no insurance on my car.
They told me this ### that i was still Suspending. Now this is 2004 i was clear back in Jan 2000. I call in Indiana DMV and got my MVR from them. Plus if i was still suspending i wouldn't be able to surrender my Indiana License for my Wisconsin License back in May 2002, and no way in hell i could have been driving a school bus for since Aug 2002. So In closing Schneider is a bunch of ###. I warn this to anyone thinking of Schneider as a good way to become a truck driver. Go to J.B.Hunt, SWIFT, or a good trucking school.

This company arbitrated the contract agreement I had with them. They terminated me from employment while I was on doctors leave of absence. I was a company driver, and they started reporting a debt to the credit bureaus while sending their attorneys after me for repayment. I am litigating them for fraud, and they will pay me for unpaid wages for the remainder of the contract including all doctor bills. On top of that, it is highly unlawful for any employer to terminate an employee while they are under doctors care. I am settling a compromise for no less than $250, 000.00 with their company for having been wronged by their devious business practices with intent to commit fraud. They even kept all of my possessions from the company truck.
I had problems with this company from the get to, I applied online and received a bus ticket to leave on a Friday, the problems started when my bus ticket was going from Guadalajara Mexico to some other town in Mexico, how is this possible when I am in Texas? Anyway, finally they fix the problem after 5 hours of waiting on a smelly bus stop, but after getting to Dallas and going thru the training I realized that it was a big mistake working for this guys, first they gave me a bang up truck and keep me for an extra day because the them truck wasn’t ready, I had my share of bad mechanics with my 11 years experience as a driver, but the Schneider mechanics are the worst, you ask then when the unit will be ready and they just ignore you until you give up. I ended up jumping to 3 different trucks until finally I made it out of their yard, another thing is that they promised you miles and good pay, but is all lies. I ended up messing up my back with this company and their support was not good at all. Maybe is was a matter of bad luck, but I had never had so much bad luck in my life.
And it seems they keep getting away with a lot of dishonesty and and false statements made starting with their recruiters
Shouldn't there be laws in regards to what they have been getting away with for so long?
