Save-A-Lot review: cashier

I am a frequent shopper at this location as I live only two blocks from the store. I shop here a minimum of three days a week. There is a new cashier working here that I hadn't seen there before, she might be from another store even, I don't know, but the name on my receipt said Melissa. I was in line behind two other customers, the one directly in front of me was related to her in some way, I know because she said to her that all the sisters would be getting together at some point to get a picture of all the kids so she will let her know when so they can get the color theme together, and when she left they both said I love you to each other. The customer had a buggy full of items and it seemed to me that the cashier didn't ring everything up, there wasn't constant beeping by the scanner like there normally is and some of the smaller items were scanned purposely a few times when there were only one actually being purchased. The woman's total was less than $100, I don't remember the exact amount but she definitely had way more that $100 worth of items in her cart! From what I saw without looking suspicious, there were at least 10 family packs of meat alone, and they were not any of the pick 5/6 items, they didn't have those stickers on them. I don't know exactly what happened, but this is what I saw. I love this store and it's mostly because I love the low prices, but it's things like this that raise prices and I am concerned for my local store that they have a thief on their staff.
