Save-A-Lot Easton’s pizza snack rolls pepperoni

This is the 3rd time trying to be thrifty and these are not the only products that have had this issue but the freezer burn and taste on your products is horrible and to come back to the store and switch out well let’s just say they don’t let you because you opened it and ate some of the product even though you have 3/4 of the product still there then you end up throwing it out because nobody can eat it we have to pick through it to find ones that aren’t bad and you lose money you gotta spend twice as much oh no I probably lost $300 in products over the last five months of shopping at save a lot

Desired outcome: Would like some kind of refund full or partial

Save-A-Lot Store workers and management owner!! Not following save a lots policy!

People! Please just do this! For your"ca$h/card $pending!

Actions speak louder than words! Fact!

When visiting save alot or any other store, which you" choose to $pend! Your! Money!

Make sure you"have a pen & paper or use your" phone"When choosing an iten please! Write the price down & so on with all items you! Purchase"

Once you! Are ready for check ouy, now! Compare! The prices"you" weotw down and you"will be amased" @ the money whick they are over charging!

You"will show them the bill" and the price! Which is on the shelf!

They will tell you"I am" sorry we did't change the bar code! Send someone else in an hour later for the same item, & you"will see they are robbing us! Fact!

Do this test whereever you! Shop" & you! Will see! Fact!

The money they are stealing! Fact!

People! All meat dept. Must have a cursiry scale! For the people! To weigh there meat from the showcase!

Sometimes you"will see the label" says 3. Lbs and when you"weigh it, it is only! 2.1/2 lbs. You! Are paying for a 1/2 which you! Are not geting!, so weigh your! Meat buys! Anywhere!

I go to buy fresh pork butts @ $1.29 a pound, I ask the bmeat cutter, to please ground this meat I am buying! @ save alot!

He tells me that if I want it btounded he will now charge me $2.99 a pound to grind my purchase

I told him you are here to serve the people that shop @ save alot, stores!

This is why a meat cutter, not a butcher! Is in the meat department, for spevial" orders as a thanks for shopping @ save alot!

Note! To corp. Stop these people giving save alot a bad! Name! Its the store owner! Not save alot!

Save alot help us"help you! Fact!

Not the money hungry evil! Store owners!

The sign on the shevf can say chicken kegs.39 cents a pound, 10 pound bag" which totals, $3.90 & when you"get to the register! They charge! You!.99 cents a pound which totals $10.00, do the math! Fact!

It's your! Money! Keep your eyes! On it! Fact! Wolves in sheeps clothing!

Just write down the price than compare! @ check out!

Don't think anyone can take this complaint seriously with the amount of typos and unnecessary punctuation. Sound like someone who got caught stealing and told to leave. Sorry! not! sorry! It's! a! bit! much!

Save-A-Lot Ardmore, Oklahoma no food on shelves

There is no food on the shelves. You can't use any of the coupons there is nothing available! I buy my meat there but the shelves are empty. You can see hundreds of products are completely missing. You need to send more trucks. Why don't you want to sell groceries? It happens every time you go into the store. They only get one truck and by the end of the week no food,

Save-A-Lot Service

I picked up a few items and had a twenty dollar bill on me. My total came to $14.02 I believe. So I gave the cashier my twenty and a penny and was looking for another penny. I didn't want to keep him waiting so I gave him a quarter because I didn't have another penny.

He took too long to make change for the quarter that I gave him so I left. I went home and realized I didn't get my dollar bills in change either and I went back to get it because that's all the money I have. I figured he would have laid it aside for me but when I asked for my change he accused me of not paying for my stuff.

He kept talking and making false accusations towards me and then another woman that was a customer was accusing me of making a scene. This is all so crazy. I wasn't allowed to say anything to the cashier accusing me without other employees being rude to me as well. I went outside so they'd leave me alone.

So I waited for the cashier to rewind the tape and when they all went out to take a smoke break together they told me a manager needs to do it because they don't know how. I doubt they do anything about it but I do wish someone would look into it. It happened around 12:40 PM today.

Desired outcome: My change and an apology. I really hope you all look at the tapes to see how everyone treated me about 20 to 30 minutes ago, customers and employees. It's extremely upsetting to me and I hope something will be done about it.

Save-A-Lot Putting me on suspension for no reason

A incident happened at the store the owner of the store and the store manager and the person who was involved in an incident and me had a meeting discuss the situation between me and another employee to resolve the situation we worked out everything and I went back to work 3 weeks later I come to work and the store manager comes to me and says that I'm suspended so I asked for what and they told me for the incident that happened three weeks ago so they suspended me didn't give me no paperwork or a start or ending date to my suspension and I'm still sitting at home waiting to see what the outcome is going to be no one is answering the phone and he is not returning my phone calls or text messages

Save-A-Lot Mcdaniels Classic roast coffee/30.5 oz

I purchased the coffee on 11/5/2022. This is the brand I always purchase. The coffee had a mixture of tea and coffee. It was very coarse. Unlike the usually mcdaniels. I bought the coffee around 4:00 PM. Also purchased was a bag of elbow mac.The UPC number is [protected]. Price was 5:99. I just want you be aware of this problem. Thank you very much.

Desired outcome: I would just like a refund. I will purchase this product again.

Save-A-Lot Left item at checkout

This morning I was checking out and purchased a pack of Polar Ice gum among other items. I put the items in my bag after the cashier ERIC gave them to me. When I got home my gum was not in my bag. I just went into the Cleveland St, store in Clearwater Florida with my receipt and they called ERIC up to the front and he had a smart mouth telling me he gave me my gum. IT"S THE PRINCIPLE> They wouldn't give me a $1.49 pack of gum replacement. I couldn't believe it. I am a regular (WAS) customer and spend alot of money at this location. I also would like to mention the old lady with medium long black hair is so mean and nasty to me every time I go in there. Anyway I told ERIC you just lost a good customer and he said "OK"> Then I walked out. Unprofessional and they should of gave me my gum. Rude customer service.

Save-A-Lot Countryside Station Hash Brown Patties

I was told by a Rensselaer, IN store employee that the patties are no longer available. These are the BEST patties around. Please reconsider this decision as the same employee said "We can't get enough of these as they sell out very quickly". Therefore I'm not the only happy customer ;).. Please bring these back to the Rensselaer Indiana store. Which by the way is a very clean and organized store with a lot of very helpful staff.

Issue is with Lawrenceburg Tennessee 38464 store every Saturday young lady is working the register and she has a attitude I have let it go week after but enough is enough I have contact the manager she wanted my information I didn't want to give it to I don't know if she ever said anything but I sure know nothing's changed 6/25/22 noon only cashier

Save-A-Lot Cashier

I was in on store number 61312, 10700 South Halsted, on 06/02/22 13:57pm auth#765546 lane #04 eps seuence 047622

When I got home and tried to fact check my receipt. I noticed most of the items on my receipt had no price listed next to them. Also the cashier number was not on the receipt. I paid with link and the cashier said $56 and I had a bag of cat food that was $11.01 and I paid in cash for the cat food. But the cost did not reduced by my link by $11.01

A few days later on 06/06 my mother went in Save a lot and her receipt listed a price next to every item.

with a cashier Number and etc. i wondering why my receipt look like this. It seems I was cheated because I cannot fact check none of the items with the cost I paid plus the $11.01 for the cat food should have reduced the total cost bring it down to $45

Desired outcome: Give me a credit for $11.01 or cash

Save-A-Lot Service

Okay my mom and dad went into the store Savealot Monday 5/30/22 on 1708 Nappanee street Elkhart Indiana. Neither of my parents didn’t have identification at the time so they had to put 3 MXD Long Island Ice Tea down cause of no identification. So I go in to make the purchase for them not to mind you my parents are 50 and 56 yrs old. I was denied service and was told I couldn’t make the purchase, having my identification and of age I was denied. The boss/manager looked me in my eyes and said “No cause I know where they are going”! And proceeds to tell her cashier not to sell me anything! Please tell me if that make sense. Please let me know if that’s illegal or not im 25 yrs old in July. And I also felt like I was being discriminated.

Desired outcome: I just want the nonsense to stop. It’s ridiculous

Save-A-Lot Lousy Managers/Owners

I have worked for the Pittsfield, IL Save-A-Lot for 2 supposed owners/managers that are nothing but rude and liars. They never come out of their office and are caught sitting in there scrolling through Facebook. The store is ran by a bunch of 16/17 yr old who hold the keys and all security keys for the store. They sell 1/2 rotten produce/dairy/and meat. When customers complain the managers/owners throw it onto the teenagers to fix the problem. They are rude to customers and staff. They are supposed to be governed by the corporate office but are not. They wrongfully fire people that is nothing but lies. In turn is getting turned over to the Illinois Dept. of Labor. They actually tell their employees to do what corporate says while they are here and then we go back doing it the way we want to run the store. Insects and maggots around mop buckets in the store. Mice in everything they can get into...and they dont care. THe employees are told to do one thing and when that is done then they get in trouble for doing it they way they were told and then told that it is not what they told them to do. They only want to hire "boys" so that the owners/managers can have their "eye-candy" to look at. They recently fired a young man that was the most polite, hardest working young man in the store and had a cop that was not even from the juisdiction throw him out of the store scaring the young man banning him and his family from the property. These people need to be removed as managers of ANY Save A Lot...they think they are above everyone else because they are little people. Well YOU don't treat employees or customers like that! Their business has fallen off badly and the teenagers are getting the blame. People in the town wont shop there because of those two. They state they are locally owned and operated and sadly that is a lie. They live in another state!

Save-A-Lot Microaggression following Buffalo Mass Shooting at TOPS supermarket

Today at 11:30am I was in line at Save-a-lot in Putnam Place Shopping Center and was asked by a fellow shopper if I had a gun on me which I must assume is a reference to the mass shooting in Buffalo at Tops supermarket. The cashier did nothing to de-escalate the situation nor did they alert the manager. Although there is a no firearms policy, perhaps supermarkets should have more police to make the patrons feel safer as our society gets increasingly more violent and unstable.

Desired outcome: I would like employees to be trained on how to respond to microagressions and other disruptive behaviors.

Save-A-Lot Poor quality product

On April 22 my wife and I purchased a 5 pound roll of ground beef from Save a Lot at 2222 Fairless Drive, Lorain, Ohio. While cooking the product we noticed an incredible amount of grease coming from the beef. There was so much that it was unsafe to consume. The roll said 73% lean, 27% fat but it was the other way around. This product is of extremely low quality and should not be sold.

Desired outcome: I feel that, as frequent customers of your stores, we deserve a refund because it was a waste of our money.

Save-A-Lot Save a lot employee in Glasgow KY

My family was shopping in the glasgow ky save a lot and my daughter put change in the little machines they have by the door and it took her money and didn't give her anything, this has happened before and we were refunded our money she rudely informed me that a third party handles their machines and started laughing in my face when I suggested they put a sign up to show the machines were broken its not about the money its the principle of the matter I told her I was calling corporate and manager and she said go ahead so I I have already contacted that store and I plan to contact corporate tommorow she has issues and has no business working with the public

I went into store and gathered my items and when I got to the register. The cashier was a old white female. She also had accent when she spoke. She may have been russian. When she started cashing my items out . She told me I was gay.

Today my wife went to save a lot at 1:20pm to buy a loaf of bread all she had was rolled penny's with name and phone number wrote on the side of them she got the loaf of bread and went to the office to pay for it the woman in the office refused the penny's money is money don't matter my wife and I and my family and friends will not shop at that store again Greenfield ohio that store has a lot of issues that need to be fixed I know of a lot of them but they will not do anything about it they just sweep it under the rug to make it disappear

Save-A-Lot Disrespectful and rude employees

Dunlap TN save a lot needs to do settle their employees down. I went in on Friday night of December 3, 2021 at approximately 6:15pm I don't know the names but the employees was 3 boys. They were running around the cash registers chasing each other and laughing and hollering. I'm in the back of store where milk is and can hear them all the way. I remind this is the 1st time either. And when customers get to registers they are ringing customers up and still continuing to holler and laughing which I consider to be very rude.

Save-A-Lot Cube steak

Unacceptable and disgusting. Little pieces of pulvereized (not properly) meat. Not even capable of eating. I'm insulted. I may not shop save a lot again. Disappointed. Not much more to say. Look at the picture, would you eat it? Unbelievable

Save-A-Lot Produce rot

Produce rotting quickly. Management was insulting, confront national. Did fo not care. Showed them oranges that rotted in less than week, still in net bag. Told me to leave loudly for all to hear, saying that they will call police and have me put out. I have been a customer for 17 years. Humulated.

Desired outcome: Healthy produce, not subject to quick rot.
