My federal tax refund was rejected on 02/24/2022 by netspend, due to it being a joint return and both names not being on the account. My refund was sent back to Sbtpg, and I was told by a customer service representative that a cashiers check was printed out on 02/28/2022 and my refund was mailed out on the 1st. I have called the automated system, and each day, the mailed check day changes. This company has already taken out a $40 refund transfer fee along with the turbo tax fees, and a $30 fee to mail me a cashier's check, that I have yet to receive... This literally has to be the most incompetent business that I have ever encountered. And to add to it, they are illegally holding federal tax refunds from tax paying citizens. I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau, along with FDIC. And I will be reporting them to the Attorney General, along with the federal reserve and the IRS. I have never dealt with this company before now, and I can assure you that I will never deal with them again in the future...

Desired outcome: I want my FEDERAL TAX REFUND, that should've been already in my possession....

Hello, I am completing a complaint to the Attorney General and any other organization that will listen UNTIL something is done. The attached recording occurred with a Santa Barbara Tax Product Group agent on the line. The agents have blatantly lied and admitted it. The agents, website and auto line give 3 different answers as to where my $3,819 is. As if that weren't enough the agent compares the "technical issue" to Ukraine, Coronavirus and is sure to point out how it failed black and Hispanic. Sounds like disclosing my race and gender in the disclosures wasn't all that confidential after all. The rep even referenced White women in America. When asked about the disclosures because I was not aware that my money was sent to a 3rd party the rep answered, "it's in the fine print". yes, this is all documented & recorded. Now its time to do something about it. I have encountered the same issue. DD was set for the 24th, due to an error, a paper check was issued on the 28th and according to one of the many representatives that I have spoken to the check was mailed on March 1, 2022, however each time that I call the answer changes. I have been told the check was mailed on 3/2/22, 3/4/22, and again today the woman I spoke to assured me that a large batch of checks including mine was mailed on 3/1/22. She stated that I needed to wait 7-10 business days not including Saturdays. I find it very hard to believe that it takes 10 days to mail an envelope from California to Nevada. I have gotten different responses from each representative I have spoken too, and still no check in sight. If I do not have my check by the end of this week, I am going to take legal action. This business is the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with, and I cannot believe that they are allowed to stay in business.
