I bought a refrigerator from Best Buy and it turned out to be defective. After many torturous long phone calls with Samsung customer service I was given an e-coupon to purchase a replacement through samsung.com. The new refrigerator was delivered when they came to pick up the defective one.
As it turns out this refrigerator is also defective. It has the door open alarm going off at all hours, the interior lights don't come on, it is blowing cold air out from the freezer hinge side and it is making loud noises.
This time they want the defective refrigerator returned to the warehouse before they will issue an e-coupon. That means we would be with a refrigerator at all for at least a week.
Samsung's customer service is horrendous. It has taken hours and hours and hours on the phone, often on hold to get me nowhere.
Recommendation: DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES!
