We got a Royal Spa hot tub about a year and a half ago. We've had a bunch of issues with it. So, I'm not sure about the quality of the product. But, their service when something goes wrong is terrible. Waiting for 2-3 weeks to get a problem fixed is normal. Most people with hot tubs know that you have to drain and refill the whole thing if you don't have any filtration for that long. I've told their service people this, but it takes them days to call me back and explain what I can do. If I ever need another hot tub, I won't get one from Royal Spa.

I bought a float pod accessory from Royal Spa for an undisclosed amount on July 20th. They promised delivery by August 20th, but it arrived late on August 31st. Despite paying a hefty delivery fee, they insisted I needed a forklift. I objected, having no forklift, and awaited the owner's call. The owner eventually reached out, insisting on the forklift requirement. In our discussion, he stereotyped me as an irresponsible millennial. Ultimately, he agreed to ensure delivery without the forklift. Since then, my attempts to contact them for a refund have been met with silence, except for a mention that the owner's approval is needed.

Me and my partner went to Royal Spa on Sunday, January 30, 2022. We decided to buy a spa from them, but we needed financing. The salesperson explained everything to us real quick. We gave them $2,500 and asked if we could get it back if we didn't get approved. The salesperson nodded yes. We followed their advice and applied for a loan with *** bank. We got approved, but we couldn't meet the conditions. We cancelled the order, but Royal Spa said we couldn't get our deposit back. They didn't tell us that deposits are non-refundable. We think they lied to us and tricked us. We tried to call them many times, but they didn't answer. Finally, they called us back and said we couldn't get our money back. We feel cheated and we don't recommend Royal Spa.

I sent my mom, who's 70 years old, to buy parts & chemicals for my hot tub so I could use it again. She went to the store twice and got some parts and chemicals. But even after changing the parts, we couldn't use the hot tub. So my mom went to return the chemicals that she didn't even open or take out of the bag. But the store in Avon said they don't take returns and told her to go to the east side store. But the east side store said she could only return stuff to the store she bought it from. So she went back to the Avon store and they said she can't return chemicals. They never told her before buying that she can't return stuff. Then they told her to leave the chemicals and they'll call her about a credit. But they never called and when she called, they said the stuff disappeared and they can't give her a credit because it's been too long. They're scamming my mom.
