I have recently used the services of The Stresscentre.com for Stress and Anxiety. I have purchased their trial package and within 4 months I have paid the fixed price, but one day I went to the website and noticed that the sum, which I have paid was higher than they have posted on the website. I called to the main office and said that they owed me money. The receptionist promised to check and after that I didn’t get any response.

I contacted stresscenter.com after seeing a commercial that offered, what seemed like, valuable help for dealing with stressful times in your life as well as depression and/or anxiety.
I called and talked to an Anthony whom was helpful and said I could try their product for 2 weeks at $9.95 shipping. There were issues with the shipping and a few weeks later when I called back to cancel it all together cause I never received it I was then informed that there's no way to cancel the order and I would be still charged the $9.95 shipping plus have to pay to return a product I ended up not wanting after waiting 3 weeks for it.
About 5 weeks after my initial call to Anthony I noticed $112.00 was charged my account and the next day I received a package from stresscenter.com. I called and ask why I was charged so much, how to return it and how to get my $112.00 back. The gentleman I spoke to informed me that I can return it and have to pay for the return costs and that I would only receive $74.00 and some change back. When I asked why I was told because I was in California and there is a $27.00 (ish) tax charge for that state.
I then asked the gentleman why I wasn't informed initially when Anthony said I only needed to pay $9.95? He said he wasn't sure but there's not a way to give me a full refund.
I have to say this company causes more stress to people then they seem to be helping destress people. I would NEVER trust this company if they can't even be forthcoming with, what I believe to be a bogus, state tax issue.
