25th Sept I bought postage online to send 5 parcels to relatives in Canada, cost £75.50, to be collected from my house 26th Sept. That happened but said no tracking info available.
This week one parcel was returned, said insufficient postage. Not true, the higher cost postage I paid they had wrongly put on another parcel even though I labelled them and put weight on each, and also they put incorrect customs form on. I have since been told I will be sent a cheque for the postage for that item. £17.10
17th and 18t Oct.the other 4 parcels were returned to me marked Return to Sender.Service to Canada temporarily suspended. I think I should be refunded for the postage for those parcels too, that is £14.40 x3, and 1x £13.70. Why accept the parcels from me if they weren't going to be sent? My sister now tells me Canada Post has been on strike for 6 weeks, well before 25th Sept when I bought postage.
Claimed loss: £56.90 for postage taken but service to Canada was not available.
Desired outcome: refund £56.90. Plus the cheque I am already being sent for £17.10 ( takes up to 10 days to arrive)
