My name is Dr Tatiana Tchikhiaeva (08/08/1969). My business class flight was largely delayed due to no error of our own from Manchester (AF 1269) which meant that I missed my connection flights from Paris CDG to Moscow SVO (AF 1154) and then to Krasnodar KRR (SU 1106) on 10 October 2021.
When we arrived in Paris, we missed our connection flights and were rescheduled onto a different flight to St Peterburg on the same day instead of Paris in order to arrive in Krasnodar the same day.
Our baggage was not transferred over and therefore my baggage with my dead mother's ashes inside have gone missing.

Nobody at the Paris or Krasnodar Airport could help us locate the luggages. I have filled a missing baggage claim report at Krasnodar airport (our final destination in Russia) and claim reference C-4499392. I called them every day for a week for updates. 1 suitcase out of 2 was found but not the one with the ashes.
I have now missed a week of my life which was meant to be a funeral for my mother in Russia. I could not do this as I do not have the suitcase. I had to wear the same clothes for 7 days and my mother (her ashes) is still missing.
It took me over 13 hours to get to and from Russia.

I will not be making this trip again and therefore demand that the suitcase to be returned to my home address where I have now returned to at 342 Prescot Road, St Helens, WA10 3AG, England, UK immediately. I will require the costs of sending my mother's ashes back to Russia via Courier Service in Russia, where she will have to be met by the funeral director of the cemetery, where my mother's ashes will be buried, unfortunately. I then had to get a taxi and food which cost in total £5.10.

I reported the baggage missing at my final destination (Kropotkin Airport) as advised by the airport staff at the boarding gate in Paris. They said it was Sunday and they could not find it, that the airport was big and therefore we either miss our flight or go.

All these phone calls every day for myself and my daughter cost us international rates on our British phones. Ext 5909 (round the clock) for 8 days till we returned on 19 October 2021 (£80).

I also demand compensation for this disastrous trip and the mental stress caused by this vile incident.

U know when I booked Aeroflot to fly to Thailand I was very happy as I heard some nice things about your airline. And then I was going to Bangkok from Moscow with an Rossiya Airplane. 10 Hours flight. Really was awful. No TV Service (they all been shutdown), not really clean. It's sad as I would not book Aeroflot again as I would be afraid that I have to use the other Airline again. Might be the same company but definitely not the same service. Kindly regards K.
