false billing
I had a blood test done in New York in 2016. The bill was paid by Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal yet Retrieval's subsidiary billed me again as if the bill hadn't been paid. This is a dishonest business practice.
In addition, American Medical Collections had a massive data security breach which caused thousands of cases of identity theft because people's Social Security Numbers were compromised.
The Court should not allow this parent company to come out of bankruptcy or survive.
fraudulent collections attempts
A friend of mine texted me a photo of a piece of mail with my name and her address from this company. My name was misspelled by one letter, and even more strange is that she and I have never shared a residence, credit card, or anything that could possibly link us together. She said "at least it came to someone who knows you so I can get it to you", and that is very disturbing to me. They clearly intended for my friend to pass along the letter to me. Their methods for identifying us as connected and getting her address however are a complete mystery. Probably social media data which neither of us consented to being provided to this company. So, not only is it a fraudulent collections agency, but they are also operating through use of data/information which was stolen or sold without consent or knowledge, and are even more unethical. Furthermore, I pay all my bills on time, have excellent credit, and have had multiple addresses which they could have used to contact me directly, so I know for a fact that I don't owe anyone money and even if I did they wouldn't have to gi looking through my friends list to get to me. This company is definitely a scam agency. Don't give them any of your info.
unethical behavior
They sent me a collection bill for EZ Pass for 5 charges of $54.75 each and they say my amount due is $4, 708.50.
No one picks up the phone and the website won't allow me to just pay the $274.00 which is the actual amount I owe according to the sub of the fees (which include the surcharges because these are for bridges).
The charges are for the GWB and Goethals bridges crossing on 6/29/16; 6/30/16 and one GWB crossing on 7/1/16.
I have no idea why they think they can GROSSLY overcharge me. I won't pay it.

past monies owed
The form I received was very official looking. There were a couple of things that read/looked fishy. One was one P.O. box sent it. My money was to be sent to another P.O. box. Monies that were owed were from Montgomery Wards. They went out of business almost 20 years ago. My supposed purchase was made October 23, 2016. Also since when does one get a PIN number on a bill? The bill has a place that I could pay it by charge. Besides a charge number, they also want the code number on the back of my card.
heartwarming books (harlequin reader service)
My mother 88 years old has received a letter from this company stating her account has been turned over to this company, in fact they were very rude stating she should be ashamed of herself for not paying this debt? My mother has early signs of dementia and has always paid her bills, she now lives with my sister and is unable to live alone, I am her POA and in charge of her financial matters, she doesn't remember ordering or receiving any products. I will not pay for something she doesn't have, and to threaten an elderly, widowed woman with failing health is dirty and unprofessional.

Debt collector for medical bills
I just received my 14th call from [protected] in the last month alone (.. Harassing, yeah?). I answered one morning before on March 9, 2016 and a woman with a thick Indian accent says she has a bill from Quest Lab for $37.00 due, and I said I didn't have any time, and no bills due form Quest, so I told her I would call her back (not).
Finally this morning I answered again. Same woman with thick Indian accent says she's from RMCB with a different medical bill overdue, from a different company. She said $170 was due, but she could get it down to $120 have it expunged from my record. And then she offered, and asked what the maximum I could pay was. To keep her on the phone, I was bargaining and said $90. That is the lowest. This goes on for a little bit and she even tried to say $90.33. I said no. Finally she's like "ok. $90 I'm putting my job on the line. I have an axe at my feet, and why would I put my job on the line for you? Because I am a real person. We need this money by the 25th. If you decide to hang up you will not get the same offer."
In all honesty, I was keeping her on the phone to look more information up online about RMCB, to see if there was a number to call them back at. There wasn't. I found this site with complaints, as well as badnumber.info I believe? Talked about the exact same thing in the past month three people on March 1st reported calls about medical bills due, same woman with thick Indian accent.
She insisted on getting a CC before giving any information about what bill it was, invoice number, NOTHING. She said she would proceed to send email of debt expunged after she received payment.
She told me basic information about that anyone (even myself, a few months back) can find on Google about myself. She tried to back me into a corner. And continued to harass and cut me off, talk over me. I told her to give me verifying information about her company, and phone number For me to call her back on. She refused, and kept asking for CC.
I told her to send me a bill via postal and I'll look it over w/lawyer and she refused. Said only when cc was processed.
Persistent, borderline harassing and guilt-tripping. But I need for these harassing phone calls to stop. I have lately been suffering from severe migraines and she calls right when I'm trying to rest my eyes between work and certain medical treatment. It needs to stop. I just hope this helps someone else not give their credit card information without verification of actual services rendered first. Will be contacting BBB.
they are gay [censored]. scam artists.
Bill does not exist
In April I received a bill from AVIS car rental. I called Avis and told them that I never rented to car and the agent was quick to assure me and tell me that the issue would be handled in a timely manner. In Sept of 2010 I received a letter from RMCB stated that Avis had sent my file for collection. After spending many hours on the phone with AVIS and them being unable to find my bill, I contacted RMCB directly with the number listed on the bill and I was hung up on after I accused the company of being a scam because I googled them. When I called called RMCB back and spoke to what they called a supervisor I told her that I would be sending a letter from my lawyer demanding that they stop contacting me. She said its not our fault we are contacting you talk to AVIS when I stated that I already had called them and they could not find a record she said they would stop the annoying letters and calls. It it not a requirement that if you file a dispute with a collection agency that they have to provide you with the current information of who is attempting to collect the debt? This people did not even do that. I am reporting them
I have never rented a car from AVIS and this is what helped me recognize that something was amiss. PLEASE PLEASE do not pay this agency.

Cooking Club of America
To whom it may concern,
I have read several other postings on the website about Cooking Club of America and this Retrieval Masters Creditors Bureau, INC collection agency and you people are seriously a joke. Here again we NEVER placed an order with Cooking Club of America (CCA) nor have we ever received anything from you all. You all can do as you wish take us to court or whatever because you all will NEVER see a penny from me or my husband. As stated in other e mails sent you show me proof of something with my name on it or signature stating that I had ordered these. TO be honest I think it is quit humorous due to the fact that a company would actually send something out without it being paid for first especially without getting a signature stating that whomever wanted it. Also if I wanted soemthing I would never us this CCA because of the trouble you are causing for yourselves and I would go pay 3 times as much from a store before I ever used you all. So try to get a penny from me and you will NOT succeed I can guarantee you that.
Again...continue to keep telling people they ordered something when they really didnt seems like it would make a great lawsuit for this RMCB and CCA for us people that are getting harrassed so I feel that we all as consumers need to get together and file a class action lawsuit where we all get paid because I have 95% of the harrassing letters you all sent out accusing me of ordering something when in fact I hadn't ever heard of yo all before. So if you all would like to get together and file a class action law suit please e mail me at your earliest convenience. Thank you!

Scam collection agency
They wrote to me that I owed over $200 from 2004 for a phone number I have never owed. They stated that I have had the opportunity to to make payment and had repeatedly neglected to do so. I had a Verizon account in good standing until 2007. Seems like if I had owed them money they would have said something in the intervening four years.

The "data privacy incident" is real. However, the news reports in Nevada called the collection agency American Medical Collection Agency which is an "aka" for Retrieval-Masters. Their biggest medical client in Nevada was Quest Diagnostics. I received a "data privacy incident" letter from both the collection agency and the medical business that sent my bill to the collections agency. Ironically, my bill was paid by my insurance company last year and American Medical Collection Agency (Retrieval-masters Credit Bureau) refused to "return" the debt back to the original creditor. Since they did not do that, my files were "hacked". They have also filed for bankruptcy as of June 17, 2019. I hope that all the collection claims have been dropped.
I received the same letter for a "data privacy incident" involving RMCB. They tried to provide some level of detail as to the breach but were unspecific and all content of the letter was aimed at scare tactic as opposed to providing information. The nature of the letter is revealed when they state that they "have arranged to provide me with 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring". This tipped me off that this is a sales job. You go to a web portal, you try to sign up, they want a credit card number, for an extra fee we'll add this feature...blah blah blah...Don't respond.
I live in NV, received the same "privacy Incident letter" today for my Mom who passed away 9 years ago. This is mail fraud, a federal offense, please submit the letters you receive to the post office or postmaster general asap. We need to catch these sick people.
I got a letter from RMCB and it said this “we are writing you about a data privacy incident involving RMCB(d/b/a American Medical Collection Agency) (the”company”). You are receiving this letter because we processed certain of your data in connection with a debt collection. This letter is not for collection of a debt” like what the fudge what did I do
I just got this letter too, but addressed to my son who is a minor. I tried following the link, but it doesn't work since he is a minor- I called was placed on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on. I called back and was put on hold for 10 minutes.
Same here, I just received a letter with the same content for my 14 year old daughter. Like Wth is wrong with these people!
Yes they called me 5 times a day I blocked them and then received a letter tried to call customer service [protected] called at 5 and recording of British woman saying they close at 530, I did call [protected] the Jamaican or India woman said she knew who did this but couldn't tell me who, what the fudge don't owe anything to them . Did a report for fraud alert on my credit Equifax experian trans union. They are maggots
They involved with child pornography, human trafficking and they sent nude pics of their boss in the mail to a friend of mine.
RMCB sent me a letter claiming their client “Prevention magazine” is demanding me to pay $47.99 and it’s in collections. The first 2 letters I got from this dumb magazine was demanding me to pay the $47.99 to get my 13 issues subscription and they weren’t sending any magazines until amount was paid. Ok cool I don’t want them so didn’t pay! Yet they demanding I pay this amount and sending to collections?! How’s that legal? I NEVER got 13 issues of this magazine and they even state that in one letter I got in February which I got this collection letter in March! These people are crooks and if I see this on my credit report I will cause a lot of issues for these people!
i got hung up on by their representative after telling her not to raise her voice and get mouthy with me. she "couldn't" release any details of my account.very unprofessional. i will pay the company, but not this ignorant creditor. piss up a rope RMBC.
I just received a collection letter to my address but it doesn't even have my full name. it only has my first inital. then in a very vague manner they are attempting to collect a debt to nj ez pass with no licence plate number, no acct. number and the nerve to actually warn me that evading non - payment of tolls is against the law. hahahaha! total scam! do not pay!
I received a letter that I owed $1.023.97 to a certain company. I called that certain company and they said I have a $0 balance.
So I called retrieval-masters creditors bureau and told her i have spoken with the company and I owe $0. She said, well they aren't going to
tell you that, its in collections.I said..she searched the computer..its$0..
I told her. I will disregard this letter.
She said, I will put in that you dispute this.
SCAM!
Highlights for Children Subscription
I received a letter dated April 4, 2009 from RMCB (Retrieval Masters Creditors Bureau, Inc) Collection Agency requesting a payment of $29.64 for merchandise purchased from Highlights for Children on September 30, 2008. I refute this claim as Highlights for Children (HfC) has a policy/practice of not sending their products until after they have received the payment. Therefore, no payment will be rendered as I have received no merchandise.
Send proof that your claimed client, Highlights for Children, sent merchandise to me or we can clear this up in Small Claims Court.

Continued harrassment about payment for unsolicited products
Bogus Wireless Phone No. charges
I also rec'd a letter from RMCB (Retrieval-Masters Creditors Bureau) stating I had a Verizon Wireless Account back in Sept 12, 2006 and owed $83.98. They gave the Verizon wireless phone number as 617 _ _ _ - _ _ _ _. They went on to say that Verizon sold them my account.
I called Verizon Customer Financial Dept [protected]) and spoke to Travis. I explained I have NEVER had a wireless acct (no from any phone co) and have not had a land line phone for over 10yrs. Travis could not find my name or an account. I then gave him the info on RMVB's letter: wireless phone #; date of crime; RMCB's Pin# and RMCB's FX_ _ _ _ _ _ number on the letter. He wrote all this info down and still could not pull up an account under my name. Next he asked my SS#. With this info, he said he pulled up info that I did open an account with that SS# (which I never did) and owed $83.98. Then he stated Verizon sold the account to RMCB and he cannot give me any info on it. I argued, but to no avail. He gave me RMCB's number and I called it. I asked for his name and he would only give me his first name. I asked for a supervisor and was put on hold for 5mins, then Travis came back on the line and again said they could not give out any info. I asked for the supervisor's name and was put on hold again for 3mins and was given only her first name of 'Lona'.
FOR ALL YOU OUT THERE WHO CANNOT CONTACT THEM HERE ARE THEIR NUMBERS:
RMCB: [protected]
AMCA and RMCB: [protected]
DON'T BOTHER WITH THE PIN #. THEY CANNOT ACCESS YOU ACCT WITH THAT.
USE THE # BENEATH THE PIN # (which should be the same as on the bottom of your letter in the yellow block) WHICH STARTS WITH TWO (2) LETTERS. Mine starts with FX followed by 6 numbers.
What bothers me is I have never had a wireless phone; never ordered any type of phone from Verizon and never had a regular house phone either. Yet Verizon said I ordered this wireless number with my SS# have an outstanding balance (which was sold to a credit Svc) and would not even give me the billing address to which they sent the bill(s) to.
Collection notice for magazine never ordered
I have started receiving collection notices for Highlights for Children which I never ordered! I see other people have also received collection notices on this website from this same collections firm for items that they didn't order as well. I am going to contact the BBB to see if I can get them to help me resolve this. It is unbelievable. They list themselves as a member of the ACA, but when I contacted the ACA about them, they said I needed to go directly to the RMCB, but again provided no contact information. What an agency.
Scam mail
I just received a letter stating that I owe $19.94 for a product that I have never ordered or received. The letter states that I owe $19.94 to their client HCI Direct, Inc. distributor of Silkies Enriche products, may seen like a small matter, but it is not. Your account is now being handled by a debt collection agency.
I would like this handled. Like I stated I did not order or receive any product from your company and would like to know how they got my name.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
i would like to know how would i apply for any opennings for employment.
This so-called collections company is a rip-off
It is a rip-off, I swear that they are run by scam artists. I started recieving their 'bills' AFTER I started making payments to the creditor that I owe. I sent in a letter to the RMCB and stated it was resolved. Now i keep on getting bills, first saying that I was lucky that the creditor has granted the authority to extend the deadline. Then they keep getting nastier as teh bills come in. Never paying attention to detail, or that it has been resolved with out the RMCB.
Stay away from this company, if you are a business, never contact them, they rip people off and are pros at it. This is a Scam and a bait and switch. It has to be, because i was already in contact with my creditor about payments and delaying them. ie - I had already set up a schedule with them.
I'm figuring that This company somehow gets information from whatever sources they have, internet, snail mail, phishing the phone lines, hacking emails whatever. I wouldnt put it past them. They will get their money no matter what. If you already paid the creditor or not, they will get THEIR money. They dont care!
STAY AWAY!
ALL BUSINESSES STAY AWAY FROM THE RMCB, THERE ARE BETTER COLLECTION AGENCIES OUT THERE.
I got a letter from these people too saying that I owed 33.90 for an account I had with Jamestown Stamp Co. The company send collecting stamps and let you view and decide if you want to purchase them. Granted that it was a little while before I sent them back and maybe a little over the time I had to send them back because I forgot where I put them but I DID send time back. So I shouldn't no owe ANYTHING. After reading these comments I am thinking that they are a ripoff company too but I am going to call the stamp company and figure out whats going on.
Yea, they did the same to me, You know what they do right, they let you call the automated service and let you enter the pin on the letter, which lets them know who you are. Afterwards you get a message saying that their service is temporarily unavailable, then it asks you if you want to wait for a customer rep, which never comes in, so you've been waiting the whole time for nothing, and now they know you want to contact them regarding your debt because you entered your pin which gives you away, and now they will push forward and send you even more bills by mail. "SCAM ARTIST".
Deceptive business practices!
Re: Today (05/21/2007) we received a letter from a collection agency that responds to the name of "RMCB" (retrieval masters creditors bureau, Inc) on this letter, whoever is in charge of the reviewing of any bill and the veracity of their contents, is not doing a good job at all.
1. According to RMCB, my wife order a membership for 24 months, with a value of $24.00
dollars per months for a total of 2 years.
2. According with RMCB, we have an account # [protected], and the date when we placed
that order, was May 18, 2006.
3. Finally, RMBC states that, they have been trying to reach us several times, without any
luck.
Now, all those three points above are absolutely NO TRUE!
The real facts are:
1. Around May or June of 2006, we received an OFFER from the Cooking Club. in the mail. We saw a card, and more adds about this company, and other offers, and we just ignore it and finally I dump it in the trash can, because we simply were not interested in any offer by mail. If want to have a magazine, I go to store and buy it. That simple.
Comment about point 1:
If your company has the bad habit of send information, adds, promotional materials or whatever you are use to send, and after that you want to be paid for it, I do not think this is the right way to do business, and anyone can agree with me.
2. We do not have any account number with your company. Whatsoever, if by any chance we are registered, or have have any account number with CCA, it is because you gave us one. We did not sign, or send any money or request any type of information were we show interest in any of your products. We did no received anything from you or your company. I will tell you one more time, the only thing we received was a promotional piece, and several other adds showing offers products or similar situations. We did no reply by any means to your company or show that we want to have any or some or your products.
Comment for number 2:
Now, if you (Betsy Wray or CCA Head of the Department in Charge) are really sure about what you told RMCB Collection Company, that we (The Loayzas) have an account with your company (CCA) and that we placed an order of 24 months membership. We want to see my signature or a copy of my check or something like a contract or any type of deal or commitment with my signature on it.
If you can not show any of these, it is because all your statements are just false accusations against me and you are destroying my credit, with this collection agency, that by the way, next time check and choose a better one, because this one has a bad reputation, and a horrible fame and history with the BBB.
3. I am not going to be waisting my time with more explanations.
I am expecting letters from both "companies" showing that what you ask is absolutely wrong, a mistake to collect money for free.
If you do not want to fix what you started, then we need to go to the next level. Small Claims will accept any type of cases, and I hope you have enough evidence to "SHOW".
If you need to contact me this is my e-mail.
They are a scam. I received a NJ ez -pass violation for a time when I was out of the country. They had my address but my name wrong. I do not respond to these types of people at all. I would advise to anyone checking to see who they are to do the same. Don't call them as they are trained to dig for your personal info. EX; they say a date of birth that is obviously not yours, then you blurt out that that is not me! then you give them your real date of birth as "proof", thinking that the letters will now stop, sorry, you just gave them your real date of birth. Get it? do not give them anything. do not call them as then they have your phone number.
This company is fraudulent
RMCB is a bad scam company which tries to steal money from innocent people! It should be stopped and legally punished.
I received 4 different bills with 4 diff account numbers through hertz for violating their policy and got parking citations. Each bill was for $90. I paid all of them like an idiot.. Confirmation number and all.. But the confirmation number had the exact same account number per bill.. MINUS one number. Wtf. Then a month later I received a bill for a bill I had already paid.. For double that amount.. I called them up.. Got THE RUDEST individuals.. Got transferred 4 times by them saying sure ill be right w u... And they said I now owe a balance of triple that amount... I said how's that' possible when I logged in and paid.. And my balance due was $90.. Not $270... The final woman christina.. I'd number C36 supposedly.. Was yelling and wouldn't let me speak.. And when I corrected her that "ask" is pronounced like so.. And not "axe".. She said "well you know what I can tell you ma'am?... Remain in collections and have a good day" and that was the end of that. I can't believe I ###en fell for their ###. How can we stop these people? I confronted them about the po box address.. And they'd stutter and transfer me... I'm so stupid.
This company RMCB is not a real collection agency, they are fraudulent and the authorities need to shut them down. Somehow they get lists of different agencys where people have had to pay a bill before and then they try to collect as if our first payment wasn't received. I paid a traffic citation from budget rental in Jan 2012 with a money order which was processed already, and I got a letter from this company in May saying they were collecting for a rental car citation on 5/14 and this is how I knew it was a scam cause I didn't rent a car since January.
This is BS! i have ezpass in all my vehicles, i expalained to all that i filled out form that my transponder didnt pick up signal, they said they never recieved it. so they sent me to this collection agency that can not budge.think about it they can have a guy in mail room just throwing letter in trash.first their equipment doesnet work, they neither do thier employees, & i got to pay 50 fine? how is that fair? its wrong & you can not treat your customers that way.
I received a letter of collection just the other day for $24 for RMCB for some fishing club. I have attempted to call them for 3o minutes this morning and it hangs up on me every time. I never subscribed to this and my proof is that the letter states a sign up date of June 16, 2011. The only thing that I was living in a hotel not my home during that time frame due to and EF5 tornado that ripped through my city. So, how can I sign up for something that I never received? I as a debt collector will not have any problem taking care of this issue. I know the rules and believe, e if they mess up I will have them by the you know what.
I got a letter from RMCB for Cooking Club of America. I admit I did join and got laid off for two years so it was a bill that I was not able to pay at the time. When I got the letter from RMCB about my bill I (who does work for a collection agency) called the to set up payments. I thought the situation was over. NO I WAS WRONG.
I recieved a letter that from saying; "How many times do you have to be contacted before you pay the $$$ you oew Cooking Club of America? You placed an order. Our client fulfilled that order and now has the right to be paid for the life membership you ordered. It is simply unbelievable to think that a person like you would not resolve overdue bills. In fact, we do not believe it. Please send your payment, and we will forget about this extremely upleasant matter. This situation is seriou. Your credit rating with our client is in danger. Do not wait any longer."
When I called RMCB and asked why they told me they set me up on payments which would come out of my checking account every two weeks they told me that they would have to pull the call. When I asked if the collector who did not do his job would be paying the rest of my bill they said no it was my fault I did not notice the payments did not come out of my checking account. I have three problems with the whole situation. One I did not think I had to watch my account to make sure the payment came out. Two I had medical issues that were more important than if they were taking the payments out. And the third is that if one of my collectors made this type of mistake they would be the ones paying for it and if they did not pay for it then they would be fired. The company I work for and I would not allow this type of thing to happen. I have to check every payment that my team gets and if I notice 2 payments on an account and not the full balance I question them why. I guess the company I work for has higher standards than RMCB.
I called Cooking Club of America and told them about the whole thing. They cleared my bill. I also informed them that if they stick with that company they will lose potential clients and ones that paid their bill and were thinking of coming back. The person I talked to at CCA told me he will let his supervisor know about RMCB's nasty letters.
Also currently getting scammed by them. I will be finding out who owns the company. He better be careful.
I received a similar letter yesterday (September 15, 2009).These scam artist are still out there stealing money! Why aren't they in jail ?
Harass and scam money from people!
I was sent to this company for non-payment of books I did not receive by Scholastics, Inc.
I mailed a check because I could not prove I did not receive these books, and decided just to pay for them instead. After two weeks when my check had not cleared, I called RICA to inquire why and let them know the check had been mailed.
The "Customer Service" woman told me that "the mail is slow, so give it a couple more weeks."
Today, 2 weeks later, I received a threatening letter stating "Since we have not received payment and you have not contacted us"..."we are going to escalate collection efforts"..."unless you pay promptly."
This is undoubtedly the most unprofessional business I have ever had the displeasure of being associated with. You cannot speak to a person when you call. You only get a voice message that says your bill is still due. I think this is a backdoor business run by the crudest kind of scam artist there is.
I have spoken to Scholastics, and they have notations where I have called them and spoken to them numerous times in the last month. I will be paying them, but now have to spend the money to stop payment on my original check.
PLEASE TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS SO CALLED "COMPANY". Contact your local Atty. General, BBB and FCC and lodge complaints until they are put out of business and not allowed to harass and scam money from people!
Its all a rip off you get billed for some thing u never get
[censor] YOU
I Never ordered Rack & Gun Hunter Magazine. would please if u would either sent i
t or quit billing me.
RMCB (Retrieval Masters Creditors Bureau, Inc.) sent me a collections letter stating that I would have to pay $ 32.39 because of publications I received from PUZZLEMANIA. This is absolute fraud because I NEVER received any such publication NOR did I order such, at any time.
I refuse to pay because this is an act of deliberate malice.
Anyways, I phoned Leona on April 19/2010 @ 1:45 p.m. and she told me she would send the collection notice back to the company and would close the account, which I hope she did.
NOW THE MAIN QUESTION IS, "how is the US/Canada government dealing with such fraudsters and crooks"; how do these agencompanies get their licences to operate (and this is an INCORPORATION. These are blatant criminals who are deliberate in targeting innocent civilians and other organizations.
Can justice be served in such circumstances.
I Have The RMCB Want There Money. I Left Them Know In The 30 Day's. They Said We Want You To Try It. I Said NO? But They Still Went Ahead And Pushed The Mazgines At Me. And Now They Want Me To Pay For Something That I Don't Want. Or I Should Pay For. I Given Them Time To Cancel Me Out Of The Subscription's. But They Were Pushing The Mazgines At Me. If They Don't Stop? I Will Get The State Police. And Report Them For Stilling Money From My Account's. That Is Frud. And I Will Report That.
I'm Being Harass By RMCB. They Want There Money That I Owe Them. I Left Them Know Before 30 Day's. And I Don't Owe Them $ 51.40. I Told Them With In The Time Frame That They Wanted Me To Tell Them? Now? I Want Them To Let Me A Lone. Or I Will Call The State Police On Them For Taking Me?
Cannot reach them by phone
I just received an invoice in the amount of $286.00 for a life time membership with Creative Home Arts Club, which has a start date of August 9, 2005. I tried to call the RMCB phone number listed, I followed the prompts, and it states your Pin # is not in the system. How convenient! They also stated that they provided a subscription to Today's Creative Home Arts magazine and other Club benefits - sorry, but that is not true!
As stated at the top of the notice is:
PIN NUMBER: 76ssss
01 SY1 LY8 [protected]
Creative Home Arts Club Account #: [protected]
I was contacted by a Sales Rep last year for a lifetime membership. After consideration, two hours later I called and declined the membership, which I was told would be taken care of.
I also received shortly after, a large white envelope from Creative Home Arts Club. I did not open it and sent it back in large black marker - Refused - Return to Sender.
I am livid that after a year I am contacted by a Collection Agency for something I cancelled. They have the audacity to say they will reinstate my Life Membership and ship any gifts that I may be entitled to receive, once they receive payment.
I am now in the process of sending a letter back to RMCB, since I cannot reach them by phone. I will also contact the Better Business Bureau.

I do not owe anybody jack sh. these criminals sent me two harassing letters. I am very depressed because of them. I will see to it that they will end up in prison for harassing people who cant defend themselves. People do not pay these scumbags anything. they are scammers and involved in criminal activites from what I have read and heard.
these butt rumpers keep harrassing my 80 year senile, defenseless uncle. My uncle has no debts, pays his bills. WIsh the feds will get involved in arresting these scumbag motherfuckers. It's been since 2015 they been hounding him. He had no debts at all.
put these people in prison where they belong.
I just received one for my uncle. stating that it is collecting for the National Review. Only $19.95, but still never received this magazine or whatever.
cancelled payment after reading this forum.
Thanks for the input!
My 84 yr old father just received the same letter. He supposedly owes $19.95 for a magazine he never signed up for (National Review). Even he spotted it as not legit... if he sends the money, then he will get the magazine. How interesting. Doesn't sound like they are collecting for debt owed, but for a new subscription to the magazine. Glad I did some research on RMCB... will report to the state attorney general and BBB. Emailed the magazine and asked them to show proof he signed up for it. Wonder if they will bother to email back.
they sent me a bill stating that I could pay $28 installment fees, which I've been doing for several months, and I've noticed that my starting balance hasn't gone down. This month, they sent me a letter stating that it was going to collections. I haven't even gotten any product to test and keep, like the brochure said. I'm extremely ticked at this company!

I haven't even signed up for the creative home arts club and I have gotten notices saying I need to pay my dues. I just got one a week ago stating "Our repeated request for your membership dues payment of $24 have gone unanswered (duh, I don't want it). All of your membership benefits and privileges have been suspended for non-payment*. (Underlined) The time has come for us to secure the services of a collections agency." Hold up- I never signed up for this. I got something in the mail in August and didn't reply. I lost my job in September so I really wasn't going to sign up and now they are sending me to a collection agency. Where do they get off? Times are so hard right now for a good chunk of people, I can't even imagine wasting $24 on this crap. I will spend that $24 on my children. *It's not like they have sent anything to me to suspend. How do people get away with stuff like this? I'm really glad I decided to Google them and found all of these complaints. If there was even a slight chance I was going to join (which there wasn't) I most definately wouldn't now. I'm hoping that I don't get a $300+ bill in the future.
I just recieved an invitation yesterday to join and thought I would do this but after reading all of these complaints I decided not to join. Thank you all for making the scam known!
BTW I did f/u with the low life scums PGA Tour partners of America and was told that this outfit, RMCB hasn't the capability of reporting you to the credit bureau. So therefore is there more scam than what it appears? That is it seems the are operating AS a collection agency to try to intimidate you but really are not.
