Altus Receivables Management is a company that deals with debt collection. Unfortunately, my experience with them has been quite unpleasant. They seem to provide incorrect information and can even be considered as scammers. It's frustrating because I had already paid the invoice on the date of the service, but the collection representative refused to provide a fax number for me to prove it. This lack of cooperation is unprofessional and leaves me puzzled about how they conduct their business.

To make matters worse, when I requested to speak with the manager, the collection guy abruptly ended the call. It's incredibly rude and shows a lack of respect for customers. Additionally, when I attempted to contact their 800 number, nobody answered. It's baffling that a business would neglect to answer their phone.

Overall, my experience with Altus Receivables Management has been disappointing. Their unprofessionalism, refusal to provide necessary information, and lack of communication make it difficult to trust them. I would advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company.

This company is terrible. They keep calling my personal cell phone, even though it's on all the do not call lists and registries. I told them three times to remove my number, but they keep harassing me about a debt that isn't even mine. I've told them multiple times not to call and that the debt doesn't belong to me. I've given them all the necessary proof to show that the debt isn't mine, but they just hang up on me if they don't get the answer they want. They're so unprofessional, it's unbelievable. The people who call are rude, ignorant, and they lie. I've talked to my lawyer, and we're filing a lawsuit for harassment. They better not contact me again!

Our company got handed over to Altus Receivables Management for a collection that needed sorting out. The company was going through a change in ownership and was facing some financial problems, which it was working on resolving. One of their agents sent me an email with a demand letter that had a five-day deadline, which I reckon is against the law and not practical. Then, I received another email from them, talking about sending a field agent to take pictures of our property and assets. I got in touch with them, and their terms were not realistic. They kind of forced me into a repayment plan that was out of this world. I requested to speak with the supervisor, but I never got a call back from them. They even threatened me with legal actions, even though I was trying to come up with a reasonable repayment plan or settle the debt with a lump sum payment. They didn't want to listen to what I had to say and basically threatened me and my company. I'm not entirely sure how legitimate this company is, but it seems like they engage in a lot of harassment, invade privacy, and make illegal threats.

I sent a cease and desist to Altus Receivables Management, but they keep harassing me. They're violating my rights.

I ain't responsible for this debt in Patient First, and I ain't got no contract with Receivables Management Systems. They didn't give me the original application like I asked.

Altus Receivables Management sent my business a letter demanding payment within 3 days for a debt that isn't even true! This company is a scam and they're sending out scam letters! I want the company to be penalized for this garbage! Even the grammar and sentence structure in the letter is like what non-US residents use when sending emails, ***., it ain't grammatically correct!

Altus Receivables Management is trying to collect a supposed debt from Morich Land Enterprise without any written evidence that they have the authority to do so in ***. They went ahead and reported the account to Dun & *** without giving any written proof. They completely disregarded dispute requests. This is the last complaint before taking legal action in court.

My bizness credit report is reflectin' a negativ account from Altus. This is 'bout a contract with Spectrum that was expired durin' COVID 'cause we weren't usin' their internet services no more. 'Cause we ain't got no problems with this company or its buddies, we ask 'em to take off the bad thing from our Experian bizness credit report. This is 'bout our company *** and the contract was for the address ***.

Altus Receivables Management is saying I owe a debt of $1513.98 but they haven't shown proof that the debt is mine. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 (a)(1)(A), Altus Receivables Management has to verify, by physically checking the original signed consumer contract, any accounts they put on a credit report. Otherwise, anyone paying for their reporting services could send in a fake account through fax, mail, or email. I want to see proof from Altus Receivables Management (an original consumer contract with my signature) that they have for the account mentioned above. They haven't verified this account, which has affected my ability to get credit. According to the ***, unverifiable accounts must be removed. If you can't give me proof, you can't put this account on my credit reports. I want this account verified or Altus Receivables Management to stop all collection activities on it.
