Feb. 20, 2025 - needed to make a change (not even a cancellation, just a date changed to a few weeks out)... Do not use this service! You will not be able to make any changes, or cancel any reservations you make if you use this company by accident! You may think you are working direct with the hotel, that has a legitimate change or cancellation policy, but reservation counter will charge you regardless! Do not use this company! You may think you are dealing directly with the hotel, and that is what this company wants you to think, for hotels are very accommodating with changes, but once this company gets your credit card you will be done here!

Claimed loss: $150

Desired outcome: Refund of booking where we changed the date but Reservations Counter will NOT MAKE THE CHANGE BUT WILL STILL BILL YOU FOR ROOMS OR TRAVEL YOU WILL NO LONGER USE.

Be very careful that you are NOT dealing with this company, for you may not even know that you are! They will book the reservation and take your credit card but they do NOT abide by even the hotel's policy. My 90 year old mother needed to change the night and push it off a few weeks, the hotel's policy allowed changes up to 24 hours in advance, Reservation Counter says NOPE - NO CHANGES - WE'LL JUST KEEP HER $200!
