Renewal by Andersen review: New door installation. Order # 04450006 installed 12/26/25

The door is great but the threshold is too high. It exceed 1.5 inches. The threshold should be less than 3/4 of an inch, preferably less than 1/2 inch. I have tripped on the threshold and fallen I use a walker. My wife has tripped on it twice but not fallen, she had a hip replacement and can't handle the high threshold. We want the threshold lowered. I know that constitute a new door but no where did this threshold height mentioned during the sale. If it were, we would not have replace the door with this model. The salesperson could see I use a walker. .
