Regus review: Regus virtual office auto renew
Regus automatically renews my virtual office membership agreement for a year from 11/1/2023 to 10/31/2024 without my consent and increases the price by over 20% per month. And Regus does not allow me to cancel the membership after I have contacted the local office and account desk multiple times. They all claimed that they had the right to automatically renew contracts. And the funniest part is that they sent the auto-renewal email to the wrong email address, and I have been using my right email to communicate with them for over a year. I'm outraged by the unethical practices of Regus. How can they renew my yearly contract without my consent, hike up the costs, and make it nearly impossible to cancel? How can they treat customers like this? I'm now seeking legal assistance to address this injustice. Beware of doing business with them.
Desired outcome: cancel the contract
I’m sorry if you felt the need to escalate this.
We take renewals very seriously and ensure that the process, which is very simple, is communicated to customers upfront. Prior to any renewal, our customers receive courtesy email reminders. According to our history, you received this email on 10 July with detailed information on prices, terms and the option of ending the agreement if you no longer require our services.
This was sent to the email address we have on file, which you can review and amend at any time by logging in to your account online (i.e., MyRegus.com). Once your agreement with us has been renewed, we confirm it via email. You can check these emails in the Account > Documents section of your online account.
This is an integral part of the agreement you signed and certainly not “unethical” as you allege.
A member of my team has been in touch to give you detailed information regarding your situation.
Kind regards,
