Regency Property Management

Brad Hardy is the boss of Regency Property Management. He's been buying up lots of property in Fresno, CA with other people's money and kicking out folks who can't afford to move. He's done this to so many families in Fresno that he has to have a guard with a gun at his office! He put my name on a bad list because I won in court! His secretary came to my house, made me sign a 20-page lease, and then I got kicked out 11 days later even though I paid my rent! I've been homeless since July because of this! This company is doing a lot of bad things, like discriminating against people who get Section 8 and being racist. Don't do business with them!

Our lease at Oak View Apartments ended on November 24. We gave back the keys on November 18. The law in California says that landlords have 21 days to give back security deposits. We've talked to Oak View Apartments many times about our deposit, but it's been more than 35 days and we still don't have it. They keep saying it's business days, but that's not true. They've given us all kinds of excuses, like the holidays and being busy with auditing, but that doesn't matter. They're saying we owe them $250+ for utilities, but we've always paid on time and have proof. They keep saying they'll give us our deposit in a week or a certain number of days, but they never do. This is our last try to get our full deposit of $500 before we go to small claims court.
