RealDefense review: Don't purchase anything iolo

I purchased System Mechanic in September 2025 for $72. I purchased IOLO Updater in October 2025 for $21.30. Little did I know that I would be charged monthly $21.30 for my System Mechanic purchase plus $21.30 monthly for my Updater purchase. According to IOLO Customer Service when you buy anything IOLO you are automatically being set up monthly to pay for Tech Support - if you didn't catch the paragraph saying you have to cancel Support before the 30 days is up - LiveTech Technical Support will automatically renew every month at the price of $19.95 or the then-current price if you do not cancel before the end of the first free month - I totally missed this. So, in Sept. $72 - System, Oct. $21.34 - Updater then Oct. 15 - $21.30, Oct. 18 - $21.30, Nov. $21.30 - fortunately I caught Nov 18 and cancelled everything. Point is don't purchase anything from IOLO because they will automatically set you up with auto pay - I didn't even know this was done to my PayPal account until today when I accidentally caught it. I'm out $60+ because I didn't pay closer attention - at 85, that's a lot of money, at least a prescription. IOLO could not care less. Word to the wise!
