I was checking out at the Stevenson Ranch Ralph's around noon on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, and witnessed so many different interactions between the checkers and one man who presented himself as the store manager, "Louis". A customer was checking out and kept telling the checker that he didn't want the sale price that he would pay what it came up to because he was holding the line up. She kept telling him no that she had to fix the price for him. This interaction went on for about twenty minutes before we decided to move to the line that had just opened. It continued while we were checking out. At this time an elderly gentleman got in line behind the guy who clearly didn't want the sale price that was holding up the line. When the elderly gentleman finally started checking out the store manager began yelling at him. This elderly man clearly wore hearing aids while the store manager basically told him to stop yelling, which he wasn't and told him that he was banned from shopping at the Stevenson Ranch Ralph's. The elderly man did talk loud but he wasn't yelling at them. Yes, he may have been angry that he had to wait to check out because the cashier didn't listen to the customer who said he didn't want the sale price on the one item that he was buying. But the elderly man wasn't being disrespectful. The store manager, Louis was extremely rude. He never once apologized for the inconvenience that his cashier had caused nor was he caring or observant to the elderly gentleman who was like I said wearing hearing aids and spoke louder clearly because he couldn't hear. I most likely will shop elsewhere from now on.
Desired outcome: Honestly, the cashiers and especially the store manager, Louis need a refresher course on customer service.
