Ordered food on the mobile app, for pick up at 15:30, arrived at 15:29, checked pickup station, there was an order in the "Mobile Order PIckup I - Q." But no place else. I am not an "I thru Q" person. I am not in the habit of rummaging through other customers orders, so I waited 11 minutes and kept checking my phone and looking for my order to be delivered. Finally a counter person said "are you waiting for a mobile order?" I said yes, showed him my order, and he checked the pickup station, "there has been only one mobile order, this must be your order." I told the young man it's in the wrong place, he stepped around to the front of the pickup station, looked at the I -Q section, shrugged his shoulders, and mumbled something, and repeated this has to be
your order. Since I had to lift the cover of the food container to confirm it was correct, and visually inspect the print on the receipt, I don't think I will use
the mobile ordering again. I just hope that no one had to rummage through my food, to ensure they had the incorrect order. Food is marginal, service 5 out of 10, app is 0 out of 10. Chicken place up the street is fast, food is better, and app is 10 out of 10, don't get my order wrong.
Recommendation: Always, always check your order before walking out of the store!
That pickup station labelling is a disaster waiting to happen. Here is the practical fix: next time (if you even bother), before you leave the store, physically check the receipt taped to the bag for your name, not just the food, and take a photo of it with your phone timestamped. Then if it is mislabelled again, you have proof to demand a free meal or refund through the app's support chat immediately, not after driving home. Also, screenshot your order number and show it to the counter person upfront instead of waiting 11 minutes, because their system clearly cannot sort alphabetically. I would just switch to the other place permanently, though, since you already found a better one.
