Quick Quack Car Wash review: Quick Quack denies responsibility for severe damage to my vehicle

Really disappointed in quick quack. Took our truck through this location on June 2nd and it tore off our driver's side deployable running board. We have been washing this truck in the same manner for years without incident. We were told that someone would reach out to us within 3 days. It wasn't until I opened a complaint on BBB a month later that quick quack finally contacted us. They then took no accountability for the damage and actually blamed us for the damage. These are factory running boards which are designed to be deployed once the vehicle is in neutral for the exact purpose of cleaning. We have been doing this for years with QQ. The store manager, Jordan who finally called us after a month of waiting, gave us the typical corporate script of saying it wasn't their fault that they damaged our vehicle. We asked for the video footage of the incident and Jordan said he'd forward the request, but now quick quack is saying they don't release video footage to customers unless it's for insurance or legal purposes. Jordan initially claimed on the phone that the damage could have occurred because the wheel of the vehicle wasn't centered in the track as it started the wash process. His explanation is ridiculous on it's face. It's either in the track or it's not. When we didn't buy that, QQ tried to deflect responsibility by saying it was an aftermarket running board. When I responded that it was factory OEM, they are now claiming that we just shouldn't have deployed the running boards at all despite that being normal and appropriate use of the OEM system. All excuses to avoid paying for damages. With my experience so far dealing with these people, they are very deflective and will dig deep for any excuse to not take responsibility. Reading other complaints on google and elsewhere, QQ talk like they care, but when it comes down to it, they really don't. Very poor customer service and typical corporate denial.
