We got a new hot tub from Arctic Spas on July 11 and it arrived at our place on August 11. We paid the full amount of $15,251.25 on August 8. The hot tub came with their "***" system that uses salt to make chlorine. This is an extra charge compared to a regular chlorine hot tub. Within the first week of delivery, we noticed that the "***" system wasn't working. We called for a service technician to come and check it out. He came and said he had never seen this before and didn't know how to fix it. He left and the problem continued. However, now the *** system was producing chlorine 24/7, making the hot tub unusable due to extreme chlorine levels. Since we bought the hot tub, the service technicians have come 4 times without fixing the defective hot tub that was already defective when it arrived. On September 25th, the service department called and said they now "realize" there is a fundamental issue with their new "***" system after other complaints. The manufacturer doesn't know what's causing the issue. A service tech came again on September 25th and disconnected the "***" system and gave us chlorine. There's still no date for when they'll fix the hot tub and give us the product we paid for. We've contacted the store many times and left voicemails saying we want to return the hot tub and get a full refund. The manager is supposed to call us back, but never does. Under the "Sale of Goods Act," Arctic Spas has to sell us a product that's fit for its purpose. The product must work the way it's supposed to. Unfortunately, it doesn't, and we want a full refund.
