There is nothing more annoying to a retail employee than someone who shows up after closing and demands to be let in. Most of those employees have worked busy eight hour shifts and just want to go home to their families to relax. They don't want to be stuck behind the counter for another half an hour because someone showed up at last minute, demanding to be treated specially and let in the store.

Think about it from the other side as well.

Minimum wage employees do not make enough money to have to clean up someone else's messes in a public bathroom. Learn to use the bathroom before you leave the house (like a child) or hold it. Yes it may suck but you're there to shop, not hang out for hours on end.

Spelling. Grammar. Learn them.

First of all, it's spelled ITEMS, not ITEAMS. Second of all, nothing annoys me more than last minute shoppers. "I should be let in because I'm a customer!" Yeah, well those employees want to get home and don't want to wait around for you. So next time, pay attention to the time instead of meandering happily around the mall.

Are you for real? Seriously? You desperately need to learn how to spell, by the way. What is with people nowadays? No one knows proper grammar or how to spell!
By the way, you ARE capable of driving an hour and a half in the dark without a cell phone. I don't even have a cell phone and I still make it through my day. Let me guess, you're one of those little turds that stands in the grocery store line, chatting to her "bestie" about the "absolutely horrific" date you had last night while the cashier is desperately trying to get your attention so she can keep the line moving, but you're convinced that your conversation on your cell phone is too important to bother with piddly things such as getting your butt out of the way. Yep, I think I see the picture now.

If I were working there and you threatened me to bring you a glass of water, you would have found that glass of water placed in a very uncomfortable and unpleasant place. It's all in your attitude. You treat someone like dirt, you get it back.

You got what you wanted, right? What else did you want the CSR to do, beg for forgiveness at your feet?
Yeah, I actually kinda hate when grown people act like children in my store...it really puts a damper on my day

It's kind of like a senior's discount. You gotta really watch the fine print because they love to stick little tidbits of information in there!
I do kind of agree with you that it's a convenience to the customer to have motorized carts and wheelchairs available for use but a big issue is the fact that the store is meant for children, some of them small children. Some people (not all people) in motorized carts tend to think that the entire store is for them and they don't pay attention to others, including small children. In the mall one day, I had an elderly man in a motorized scooter practically run me down because he wasn't paying attention to where he was going. So I can see where motorized carts in Toys R Us would be a bad idea.
Always check things as soon as you get them. Always. If not, you will have this kind of situation on your hands.
I believe (but I could be wrong) those cases are filled by the Coke Company. If you look at the fine print on the case, it should say "Coca Cola" or something along those lines. They would be the ones to complain to.
Hope that helps a little!

Yeah, but allowing for time to take your order, make the food and clean up, they would have been there an extra fifteen minutes. They probably didn't want to hang around that long. Next time, show up earlier.

You absolutely cannot self-diagnose and then expect to take legal action. You just won't get anywhere. Next time, go to the doctor and get the diagnosis verified and you might have a chance at a case.
Bingo, Taco Bell Employee! The customer is NOT always right and whomever coined that phrase should be knocked out!

Hahaha...I'm sorry. I completely agree with you because they've almost mowed me down too but just the way you said "to have a stocker with a large cart of frieght damn near run me down"...it's so accurate!
I used to work in another dollar store and the problem with people spraying the cans to see which scent they like is that it causes a serious headache from all the different scents. If you spray three, and another person sprays three, and another person sprays two and so on and so forth, that's one heck of a headache. Yes, it sucks but employees have to look out for every customer.

This is one, big, long run-on sentence. I'm not entirely sure I know what your point is.

Pulling the race card just means you are more racist than the rest of us because you think people are watching you because you're not white. I work in retail and it doesn't matter to me if people are black, white, green, purple, red or blue (well, maybe not blue because then they might be choking:-) ) I don't care what someone's colour is; I just care if they seem suspicious and if these people thought you were acting suspiciously, that's what prompted them into action.

It sucks when they don't open registers. You would think they had four-year olds running the store for all the intelligence they use. I agree with you on the handicapped parking, too. It's the same with the Parent/Child parking spots. I have two small children and don't like having to hike them through the cold and snow for three kilometers while some bozo parked in one of those spots just because they are lazy. I know it's not the same as the handicap parking spots but it's annoying when ignorant people don't pay attention!
You actually called them from your cell phone rather than get out of the car and go in? Wow. And they wonder why the U.S. has one of the highest rates of obesity.
This happened to us before, too. My husband went into the store, reminded them kindly and they brought the meal right to us and refunded our entire purchase amount. Now that's customer service!
Oh wow, this sounds like the Tim Horton's I used to work at! Some are good, some are bad but the fact remains: they will get people to work for minimum wage. I have several years supervisory experience but when I walk into a store for a job, I still get minimum wage. It sucks.
You couldn't ask, "Can I get two small coffees, please?" I would have responded the same way that the guy working there did! Use your manners and you might get some in return.

The customer is always an idiot. Especially in your case.
