About 2002 I applied and paid for a website with Yahoo / Geocities.
After some months I realized the YAHOO GEOCITIES system was incompatible with mine. No pages could be viewed. I was based in the UK at the time.
I tried countless times to make contact with zero results.
Eventually I tried to obtain a refund. Again Zero results. Requests for them to contact me were also ignored.
I was acting for a registered charity in the UK and did not approve of our paying for zero results.
Not a large amount was involved but we resent paying money and receiving nothing and "NO CO-OPERATION". I think was around $80.

The year might have been as early as 1999.
I think a large firm such as YAHOO should have been willing to listen to our complaints. They obviously weren't.

Just waited 6 hrs, on a Saturday night, on a holiday weekend, for delivery of a bed that never came. I am so pissed off I think my head will explode. Not only do I want a full refund, and I wouldn't want that bed even if it was free, I want to be compensated for all of this wasted time and frustration.
Bought a 42 "Samsug tv less then 2yrs old noticed a couple of days ago it had a black line in it but not at all times been told that is has bad pixels or what they call dead pixels in it already. The manufacturer wants me to pay a fortune for them to send someone to come and look at it to make sure that's what it is when I have already been told by the company I bought it from that is what it is. So why would I would I want to waste more money for something that's already been told to me. The point is the TV less then 2yrs old and bad already.
If you signed up to get the shipping refund that's when you get screwed on the easy savers thing. If you read it states by clicking you will be enrolled in said program and will be charged. My husband did the same thing he called because a thing came up on the screen and said that he had just enrolled in easy savers. I am generally ok with proflowers but I do think that it is super sneaky of them to throw that in at the end. I have also been overcharged for certain orders as well.
On February 29th, 2008, I was told that I would be getting unlimited local calling until September 3rd, 2008 as compensation for a wireless plan error that the representative made.
The agreement was made over the telephone (bad move, I know) and there is no way that I can think of to prove that this agreement was made (even though they say they "record" all phone calls). It should say it in my account history, but it only goes back to April (so they tell me).
The problem is that I was under a joint account, but I had separated from that account around March to have one under my own name a few weeks later. Apparently the note was not copied into my account history and now Rogers claims that they can't do anything about it because it's not under my name. I got the first 3 months of unlimited local calling, but it stopped after June.
One of the representatives looked into the account of my partner's, found it, but still told me that I can't get it because it's not under my name. Now I am being charged for calls that I did indeed make, but should not be paying for. My bill last month was $310 when it is supposed to be $45. I have not paid for it and refuse to until the problem is solved.
If there is some kind of online petition or protest against Rogers, please notify me ASAP. I will do ANYTHING to prove them wrong and make them fix the problem they have brought upon themselves.
I am one of the many poor slobs, who is fortunate enough to live a hand to mouth existence. In the past, I admit I have had a hard time keeping up with my account balance and have overdrafted my account. Very frequently however, it would be a very small oversight on my part - to the tune of $5-$10 bucks... never more than $12... and I would promptly go to the bank and hand over the cash to remedy it before I got charged an unmanageable amount in fees. And in the past they would allow me to do this, and not charge me.
Anyway, I decided to begin keeping a register to assist me in managing my account. A couple of weeks ago, I made a mistake in my register, and left out a small purchase of less than ten dollars. The next day I made a purchase of $8.47, not realizing that my account had only $1.89 in it. The next morning I checked, saw my mistake and immediately went to the bank to make a deposit. I deposited $40. Everything was fine, my account balance stated I then had $33.42... and I assumed that I would not be charged a fee, being that I had deposited money so soon after - and that my account had no fees at that point. I later made two purchases one for $4.58, and one for $1.88... and also donated $0.10 to someone online via paypal. Still my account was fine, no fees, everything positive... my balance was $26.86.
The next day I check my account, and lo and behold - it was negative $78.14, I had been charged THREE NSF fees for the initial $6.58 that made my account negative - and now, for the two transactions I made, after I had deposited money. Also, my ten cents donation was no longer on the account - and days later... that went through and I was charged yet another $35 for ten cents!
To add to that, I also noticed that I had $7.66 in my savings account... and the overdraft protection I (supposedly) have is supposed to move money from savings to checking in the event of an overdraft. But that $7.66 was still just sitting in my savings. If they had transferred it... my account would only have been negative $0.38... and I would not have been charged so many fees.
So I transferred the $7.66 into my account... and now here I am stuck with a negative balance of $105.48... for having initially overdrafted $6.58... and then due to their delay in giving me fees - another $6.56 in purchases. All of these purchases have been covered both by my deposit of $40 and then my transfer of $7.66. (Purchase total= $13.14, Deposit total= $47.66, Fee Total=$140.00) I have contacted the bank innumerable times to try and resolve the issue... but to no avail. They do not care about their customers, they're only out for a profit. I will continue to call and visit BOA until this is resolved. I will NEVER pay this, and will simply transfer to a credit union - or some other bank where I am treated as a human being - and not a monetary figure. It is excessive, and obviously a scam. They should not be able to conduct such dirty business. I feel like I have been raped, and I am absolutely helpless.
Every time I talk to another representative or manager - they merely keep repeating the same nonsense, about it not being a bank error - so there's nothing they can do. ###, they're the bank - it's their company - they have the power... they CAN but they WONT. And although it's obvious how unreasonable this is, they choose to ignore their customer to pander to their greedy shareholders.
Beware - this is a scam lottery!

This is the biggest ripoff with no way of contacting anyone when you have a problem. All it does is point you to free websites that you could have accessed on your own. McAfee Site Advisor warned me on this, but I did not pay attention. Now I am $29.95 poorer and still did not find the genealogy information I was promised. Website states that if they don't find anything on a search that that you will not be charged a credit -- guess I am about six credits in the hole as everything comes up zero and you still get charged.
Buyer beware!
I purchased a 2008 Honda Silverwing in the later part of June 2008. This bike came with a blemish while rubbing against the crate during transport to the dealer. This was placed in a contract but nothing has been done to finish the agreement. I only get updates when I call the dealer myself but only to get stories of how the part is on its way. I should have realized and taken my business elsewhere when 35 N. Honda could not even find the correct key to start and show me the bike. The finance department could not even complete the correct paperwork so I had to make another trip to provide them with a check for the remaining balance. I was going to use Honda to finance half of the purchase. I guess they lost a bit on that part but are making up for it by not completing their part of the deal.
Addition to this post before I leave some info out. The dealer contacted me the same day that I was writing this message to schedule my fix. Everything was fixed as promised just at an unreasonable amount of time. The quality of work at the service department is grade A+ but the rest the circus is a joke. I wish I would have taken my business elsewhere and only used this place for thier service department. Now that there is a trust and integrity issue, I will no longer use 35 North Honda for anything.
Please feel free to contact me for any questions as I would love to deliever my story to anyone thinking about making a purchase from these folks.
I have had a credit card with these loan sharks for 3 yrs. Always paid on time and paid over the minimum payment. Regardless they raised my rate from 10.09% to 30.08%.
When I called to complain they just said it was due to my credit rating, although none of my other credit cards changed my rate. I was given the same rehearsed speech over and over again. Was told to check back in a couple of months to see if my rating has changed.
No Thanks. I will pay this card down and never do business with them ever.
This scam needs to be exposed!
DO NOT GET THIS CARD! Same story as everyone else- no late payments, always early, and for no reason rate went from 7.99% as agreed to aver 20% in ONE month with NO warning! When my monthly payment tripled I looked and found out what they had done. THIS IS A SCAM PEOPLE!

I booked a trip through Expedia that included a hotel stay at a Westin. The policy when I booked the flight on my printout stated cancel by 5/19 at 4 pm EST without penalty.
On 5/19 at 10 am EST I called to cancel and was advised that the date to cancel was 5/18 now and that I was due to pay the whole hotel cost. I went back and pulled the interval electronically and the date had changed to the 18th even though my printout says the 19th. They deny anything changed.
I paid 640 for nothing.
I purchased a plane ticket from expedia for 763.00 to fly from Pensacola, Fl to Little Rock, Arkansas. It was a round trip ticket. I didn’t check in with the delta clerks 30 mins before *** so they marked me as a "no show". Delta told me to call expedia, who I booked my flight through and see what they could do. I called and dealt with an overly attitude stricken women for her to tell me there was nothing she can do for me. I asked to speak to her supervisor, I did so to be told it was MY FAULT. I simply asked if I pay 700.00 out of pocket to fly to Arkansas can I use the ticket I booked through expedia to get back to Fl. Nope sorry, your entire ticket is VOID. As a person who makes minimum wage 763.00 is a lot of money. I ended up having to drive 700 miles one way to get to Arkansas and 700 miles back. I will NEVER book through expedia again and recommend any person who doesn’t feel like flushing 800 dollars down the toilet do so either.
I booked, through Expedia, a flight to Rome, airfare and hotel included. I also purchase a vacation cancellation package
On April 11, 2008 I was injured in a car accident and suffered four broken bones in my feet I cannot walk very well at this time.
Expedia now tells me that Eurofly does not honour the cancellation voucher and will not issue a credit.
Expedia should not have sold me the insurance. They should have known the policies of the airlines they deal with. What was I insuring against?
Do I have any recourse? I would be happy with a credit to be used at a later date.
Purchased tickets in May. In late June Airline canceled flights. Expedia was unable to find me a comparable/compatible replacement and offered me a "full refund" (minus their processing charge). However the "refund" was promised within 1 to 2 MONTHS. Ok, so I'm supposed to carry the charges for up to 2 months and still have to buy new tickets elsewhere? Irritating, and costing me more money, but whatever.
3 months later I realize they have never refunded my money. I call and they tell me that "hmm, that is strange, it was requested, let me put in another request."
I call the credit card company and they have never received a request for refund. I call Expedia a week later to check on the status and the woman tells me that the initial request was never passed on to the correct people. So they essentially lost it.
And now they tell me it will again be "1 to 2 months" before the refund is processed. She explained that it really only takes 7 to 10 days (still a ridiculously long period of time) but that the 1 to 2 months is when it will appear on my statement. Requested expedited service since they have essentially stolen my money, but that seemed to go in one ear and out the other. Its now been about 15 days and my card has not been refunded.
Isn't is simply amazing that they can take my money in a matter of nanoseconds, but it takes them 6 months to return it? Really excellent customer service. I'm not holding my breath this time either.
I purchased the trainy off of Ebay for $695.00. After winning I had to give them over the phone all the payment info. They in returned it for me to sign at which time I had to fax the info back. After the installation I was close to the deadline of 30 days. So I called and talked to Paul he said the deadline was not a problem we just want to make sure we get a core in return.
After the core was picked up I called Paul back with a shipping number that he requested from me in our earlier conversation. A month passes I call to find out the status and speak to a woman name of Willow. Willow said the the core was there but sh did not have a copy of the warranty.
I think that was bull, again I faxed another copy she said that is all I would have to do. I asked if the money would be sent back to me at the time they receive the warranty. She made it clear to me I would have to wait the 30 days again. That is where I am now. It has been about 40 days no refund of core charges and no way to get a hold of them. The 2 phone numbers I have just keep ringing busy. I got played hard for $350.00.
What can I say but they stink! Even though you sent your friends and family to their store for gifts, they won't exchange for another item needed/return for credit even if on the registry. I guess I'll just have to be rude to the gift giver and require them to give me the receipt/gift receipt. I guess I'll have to say (I really like the gift, but I got three today so give me the stinking receipt so I can return.) You are only allowed 2 returns a year up to twenty dollars each. They treat you like you came in and stole the items.
I ordered on-line with Target 11/22. My order has been sitting in a holding pattern ever since. Target has turned the info to UPS, UPS has not come to pick-up. Target claims the order can't be cancelled because it's shipped yet it's sitting on their loading dock. UPS hasn't accepted the package yet, so they're not processing.
This purchase was made with part of their joint HOLIDAY FREE SHIPPING agreement to intice customers. Well, they both post on their response pages that it won't be delivered until 12/26 - 1/10/08. Again, this was ordered 11/22/07 and now they are saying delivery won't take place until after the holidays.
Please be aware of my experience if timeliness is an issue in your purchasing or delivery endeavors this season.
I received a gift from someone near and dear to me from Target. It was more money than she should spent on me, and I was very grateful. After a lot of tinkering, the product did not do anything it was supposed to, and I took it back to target. Even though the product was a gift, they would not exchange it. 'You mean if the gift giver did not give me a gift receipt, I am stuck with this broken $150 electronic picture frame?' I asked. They told me I could have the person come in with the credit card they purchased it on... They could look it up... etc But all I want is an exchange. This person was very kind for giving me this gift. Why would I want to drag them down to Target again? And why should I have to ask the giver for a receipt. She probably did not keep it. And what if she did not buy it on a credit card?
It isn't like I exchange things all the time. About four months ago, I bought another product from them that did not work when I got it home. They exchanged it because it was under their $20 limit. I guess happy customers are overrated for Target's policy writers.
I bought this model in September of 2007. The first time I used it, I brought it back because it was making a very loud noise when playing DVD's. They replaced it, but about three months later, the same thing happened. I called the store and it was past the 90 day warranty. The noise got so loud, that I had to crank the volume to get it so where I could here over the sound of the DVD. Now, all of a sudden, the DVD player went out completely. It sounded like an airplane was taking off. Well, the TV works fine, but the DVD player keeps giving me a WRONG DISK error with all the DVD's I play. This is junk. I have a cheap Sharp TV that I purchased in 1990 and a Sony TV I purchased in 1992 and they both work great. I had two Trutech's and they both lasted less than three months. Junk!
I lost my job and had to fight for my disability and contacted triad...i paid some of my payments up and was told that it was out of repo and never got anything about a repo and the man was on my door at 7:30am and took my truck and was told that i could get it back for 1550.00 plus the cost per day.. well now no one will get in touch with me and I needed to get my truck back but it now to be sold...so look out for a 99 f-150 cab and half ...they just rip you off and doesn't want to help you when you need them to...DON'T GO THROUGHT ROADLOAN OR TRAID FINANCIAL...
Close out your bank account they have access to. Don’t pay them after about 3 or 4 months they will send letters of cash settlements. Even after I filed bankruptcy they still kept calling. I kept giving them my file number and everything and they had the nerve to call back the next day. I finally told them that they were in contempt of court before they would leave me alone. I also called my bankruptcy lawyer and told him so if they call me back I’m going to press charges against them so they will have to pay a fine.
Cashcall says that it lends in 44 states. If they do lend in that many states they must conform to each individual states lending laws.
In what I have been lead to believe from my own bank and other financial institutions in Wisconsin is that both parties must be informed of the loan. If one party enters into an agreement it is in the interest of the marriage. This would automatically include the spouse into the contract whether they sign it or not. Thus being the case any and all accounts, income, debts, etc. should and must be taken into account.
So by not offering joint applications or a truth and lending disclosure to the spouse they are in violation of Wisconsin's lending laws.
Not for nothing but these fast cash places, are getting a lot of people in more trouble then they started out. They lend people money that really don't have a lot, and charge them these high fees. They also require the person’s bank account, so that when they are ready they just go in a debit their accounts.
Sometimes not for the agreed amount or proper date. And when the person thinks they have paid them off they continue t debit their account. Bank overdraft fees, oh my God.
Please watch out people. They will try to take everything.
