My payment of $20.00 was due on June 5, 2008. On May 15, 2008, I mailed my first payment of $20.00 to City Cards. When I checked my records (phone) on May 31, 2008, the payment wasn't posted. On June 1, 2008, I mailed a second payment priority mail. When I checked my records (phone) on June 3, 2008 - the due date - none of the two payments was posted.

Afterwards, I talked to three customer representatives, and explained the situation. All three claimed that none of my payments was received and I would be charged a late fee. The last representative told me that if I weren't happy, I could cancel my account immediately.

Once I saw a Dateline show, in which a former credit card company associate told horror stories about payments being destroyed in order to charge customers late fees. If there were any doubts in my mind about these allegations back then, there aren't any now. There is no doubt in my mind that Citi Cards intentionally screwed me up in order to extract some money from me, as there is no doubt in my mind that there are many other victims of Citi Cards' unethical practices.

I suppose very few people realize that when one is treated unfairly, he or she finds a way to balance things, because there should be balance in the world, right? So, Citi Cards treated me unfairly today; tomorrow I will treat someone else unfairly, and then, in turn, he or she will do the same to another. And, who knows, one day the Citi Cards CEO's, or one of the many shareholders', mother or daughter may come to me for a radiation treatment. Believe me, you wouldn't want me to be pissed off, because it may cost you much more than you gained from charging me a late fee.
I have had similar experiences with ALC that are reported on this site. I 'won' a $300 discount. I was pressured to sign up the day I went in for a consultation. When I went home and discussed the price with my husband, we decided it was not something we could afford, so I called to cancel before I received any treatments and was told it was too late, I had already signed a contract and there was no refunds!

My most recent problems with this company started Jan. '08. I called 4 times in the beginning of Jan. to schedule an appointment, they never answer the phone it always goes directly to voice mail. I left 4 messages, on the 4th message I indicated I was upset and wanted someone to call me back. They finally called me back and we scheduled an appointment for Feb. 8th. On Feb. 7th at 5:26pm. they called me to cancel the appointment due to 'modifications' they were having. They said they would call back to reschedule. They never did. I called on Feb. 9th and 11th and left messages. They called me back on Feb. 12th and rescheduled me for Feb. 17th at their north location which was a location I had never been to. They gave me vague directions, but no address. I thought the address would be on their website, but it was not. So I called back to get the address of the north location, and left a message. They called me back and got my voice mail and said 'Sorry we missed you please try us again'. Why they could not leave the address on my voice mail is beyond me. So I called again, left another message. They called me back gave me the address. On Feb. 17th I went to the north location and waited 20 minutes in the lobby, finally the girl said she did not have me scheduled at that office. She said perhaps I was scheduled at another office. So I left, called the office that had made my appointment and they said yes, I was scheduled at their office not the north location! So now it is Feb. 19th and still no appointment. Whenever you call their offices, they NEVER answer the phone, their voice mail says this is due to a high volume of calls. I've called at every hour of the day, and I never get through, how can they have such high volume of calls at every hour of the day? How come it takes so much effort on my end and so many phone calls just to schedule an appointment! I feel they are avoiding me. I of course have already prepaid! They got my money, why bother helping me now?!

In February, 2008, I purchased from Ticketsmyway 4 tickets for Jersey Boys (Chicago) to be seen on 7/17/08. I was charged immediately $844. I was promised by "Samantha" that they would be delivered before the end of June since we would be leaving PA for IL prior to 7/17.

It's now 7/3/08, and I've spent the last four days trying to get the tickets delivered. I've sent three emails, left four messages, been placed on hold and disconnected two times, waited for customer service, of which there is none...all to no avail. I did not read reviews on this company, which was my very huge mistake. However, I'm not too stupid to find a legal way to take them out of business. I'm open for suggestions.

Never buy tickets from this scam of a company. Their fine print allows them to sell tickets that you didn't order. You will NEVER get the tickets you ordered.

I ordered Kentucky Derby Tickets for a client and they did a bait and switch from row G to row M and row E to row J. They had other tickets available but instead of sending me better seats that were on their website later that were less expensive they sent me seats farther back.

The Customer Service Mgr Brock, told me I was rude and then lied about what was told to me.

I bought $352 of tickets through Ticketsmyway.com in January 11 of 2008. The concert is today, June 1, 2008 and no tickets. When I looked the status up on the web site they said they are being shipped June 2...that is not going to do me a lot of good a day late. The have no tickets and I have lost out. I will do my best to get these folks off the Internet doing business and taking peoples money! When I try to call them I get voice message saying we are away from our desk leave a detailed message...no one ever calls you back.

I paid for 6 tickets for Wicked from www.ticketsmyway.com for Feb. 3, 2008 on January 15th, 2008. Was contacted by them two weeks before the show, they ran into trouble tracking my order and told me they would call me back. They didn't. Two days later, I received to or email so I got worried so I tried to call using the number listed. The message on that number stated that they were moving to a different building that is going to take 2 days. I tried calling numerous times and nobody answered. I left a few messages to have them call me back. 3 Days after the first call I made I still got the same message of moving after I was on hold for 30 minutes. I then tried to chat with them online. I managed to get a hold of Tammy. She told me to hold and she left leaving me with no answer. I called and left more messages.

Finally 4 days before the show, they called me and said that they were going to have to change the seats. I agreed and sent an email confirming my agreement. I get a call 2 days later and a different person told me that the tickets were still not processed and that they will have to be placed on 'will call'. They asked me to fax them a copy of my drivers license and a message saying what I agreed to and what I wanted with my signature. I faxed it the next morning. No response from them since.

The tickets were for my girlfriend and her friends. On the day of the showing, the group got to the theater and were told that my name or my girlfriend's name were not in the system. She ended up buying more tickets there (which were much much cheaper than what I paid for them with Event tickets)

I disputed the charges with my credit card companies and they are currently working on the case.

Bottom Line: I paid a lot of money to get absolutely nothing, especially customer service. I don't know how a company run this poorly can still exist unless they are a scam.

DO NOT DO ANY KIND OF BUSINESS WITH THEM OR YOU'LL BE SORRY!
I ordered XM Radio 18 months ago. I recently noticed that XM radio was also charging me for XM online. I never ordered this service and did not authorize them to charge me for it. I paid for the radio quarterly, but they were charging monthly for the XM Online. I thought the monthly charge was for the radio until I saw both charges together on my credit card bill. They acknowledged their mistake, and paid me for 6 months of the overcharge, but will not pay me for the other 12 months. Beware! I wonder how many other people are giving XM Radio extra money by being charged for another service not ordered.

ABC was supposed to have Nascar Countdown followed by the Nascar Race Today Sunday Sept 28, 2008. But instead there was a stupid parade on ABC at 1:00. Why cant they worn us before hand, when there is going to be a change in the programs that they offer. But never cut off a football game when their times runs out. The people that like Nascar would like to see what is supposed to be on not a parade for children. We wait all day then are very disappointed who wants to watch a parade instead of regular program.

DirecTV charged my checking account twice and although I am now paying insufficient fund fees on that account, and although they acknowledge it was their mistake, they cannot replace that money for a week and a half. After a conversation with a cc rep who can't speak English, I was finally allowed to speak to her supervisor (ERIC) who was the nastiest, most obnoxious cc person I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. Thanks ERIC, you made my discussion easier... Come my renewal time, I won't be with Direct TV anymore! Customer Service Department - If you’re not going to do your job, you can at least not treat people like crap

About 2 months ago I called Direct TV after getting the phone number online. I had a very specific need and currently had a hd cable provider but I did not have the local channels. I was given a very reasonable price for the package I wanted which included 2 hd receivers free and internet service. Well once it was installed I did not have any of the packages I wanted and I also found out they did not offer internet and I did not get the local channels. Also the price that I got on the phone direct TV would not live up to they said I had no choice I had signed up on a 2 year contract even though I never signed anything. Just the fact that everything direct TV said was a lie and I would suggest no one sign up for their service.

And here is the topper I called 2 weeks in advance to set up to move my service to my new house my wife took off work because the hours they gave us were 12 to 4 and now they say the work order did not get put in so we are screwed.

I have been using the McAfee internet security for three years and have never had any problems, however the other day i switch to Norton because i am told it's better and i fell for it! I had to wait up to 5 hours for Norton Internet Security Suite 2007 to install and do a "quick" scan which was the slowest ever; compared to McAfee which took me about 5 minutes to install and half and hour for a full computer scan! Norton always says that your computer is not safe and needs updates.

when it searches for these updates they do not exist! so whats the point? and the 5 hours that i had the Norton it let in 6 viruses and 2 hackers that i had to get rid of manually. this just proves that the Norton "security" is crap! DO NOT GET IT! TRUST McAFEE!
This company, Grant Research Guide, sells a program or CD for $2.95 giving the buyer access to all kinds of grant programs they supposedly would never be able to access by themselves. Well, don't be fooled by the low price and definitely don't pay it and expect to receive anything useful.

I got the CD in the mail, but not before my credit card company called to inform me that they suspected fraudulent activity on my card. At the time, I didn't associate the name of the company they claimed was responsible, Funding Resource, with Grant Research Guide. Otherwise I would not have bothered trying to login to the grant program when I received it, only to find that the username and password they had provided was not valid.

The program (if there is one; I could never access it) is useless without that information. Furthermore, this company will attempt to charge your credit card a monthly fee of $49.00 to access this program; something that is NEVER mentioned in any of their advertising or even during the sign-up process. Fortunately, my credit card company is on the ball and they caught this before I lost even more money. I know $2.95 isn't a lot, but it is a Rip Off if you get NOTHING for it and this is the case with this company. At the very least, Grant Research Guide is dishonest about their services.

If you've already signed up for this program, just make sure they don't get you for the additional $49.00 monthly or you'll be sorry you gave them your credit card information.
I was given a price for a flight, when we went to actually book the price had gone up a bit, about $15. I stated that it was OK and gave the phone to my wife and I went to bed. (Had not gotten much sleep and it was late.) The next day when checking my email I found that the salesperson had updated the price AGAIN for OVER $100! Then to make matters worse another email was sent stating that the flights had never been confirmed so I had NO flight booked. Wow how can they treat customers like that.

I am also complaining about the same company. I was charged $4.95 in shipping of a product that I never received with the understanding that I would be able to cancel within 15 days, however I never did receive anything but was charged $84.90. I've tried calling but cannot get thru. All I can say is that this is the 1st time I've had anything to happen to me like this and I hope it will never happen again. People today really don't have funds for other people to just take advantage of. I think it is awful that others can do things such as these. I sure hope that I will be able to get my monies back and others too.

I ordered the "free"$14.95 sample and before I had tried it another larger bottle arrived with no information or bill but noting a cost of $84.95 would ensue. A charge then appeared on my credit card. I called them and was told to send back the bottle for credit. I did last April 1st.

I am sorry not to have called the card company right away as no credit was ever given. I called again and was given a confirmation number. Later, I called again and was told I was "next in line". After recovering from surgery I am ready to try again and report them to every agency I can think of and to Oprah. (Does she know she's being used?)

I have the small sample unused and, since they seem to be cheats, I am afraid to use it. Buyer beware!

I too am a victim of GTP, before receiving my $84.90 bottle in the mail, I called and could not reach anyone. I then replied to the initial email, and when it arrived, denied it at the post office. Via email was told once they received it back I would have my money back in my account within 5-10 days. It's been longer than that now, and the email address comes back "mailer daemon". I suppose I have to contact my bank for fraud now?

Anyone had any luck getting their money back?

Please help if u can.

Green Tea Pro withdrew $84.90 from my bank account without permission. This is fraud and I will report it to the better business bureau. I want this company to cancel the product and return my money to my account. I received a phone number from my bank in order to contact Green Tea Pro. Which I did and I only got a recording every time I called. The recording gives you two ways to contact them in order to cancel a product which I never ordered. You can leave a message on the voice mail or e-mail them. They request your name and a zip code. The problem with leaving a phone message is the voice mail is full so theirs no way to leave a message and the e-mail address they give leaves you know where on the net looking for them. This is fraud! I am disappointed with a product that advertised on the Oprah Winfrey show and with her for not investigating a company before she does business with them. Shame on You Oprah Winfrey!

I accepted a one month trial of Green Tea Diet. But when I attempted to make contact with the company, the electronic answering message is in a loop, giving you only two options. Press 1 for customer service. Press 2 to hear instructions on how to reach them on the web, or press 9 to hear the message again. The loop goes no where, just plays over and over.

The company continues to charge $84.90 on my credit card. Beware of businesses that are located in Las Vegas, NV. Many are not on the up and up.

Please help!

I am also having problem with Green Tea. I only signed up for the 1 time trial. Have since received 2 more shipments and they have charged my credit card $85.00 twice. I can't afford such a rip off.

Trying desperately to get them to give me a refund.

But not luck yet. I am trying to get my credit card company to help but there is only so much they can do. Why are people like this and take advantage of honest hardworking people

Beware of them. Don't answer ad. Oprah shouldn't have given them such a good review.

I too was scam by Green Tea Pro. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and if I have not refunded my money, I think a Class Action Suit should be filed for by all of us. I am tired of being ripped off and I am not taking it any more. Anyone with me. Let's see how to fight back, I have never spoken with not one person and like everyone else the voicemail is full. I don't see how this can happen over and over again and no one gets just. Maybe we should start with Oprah.

The incompetent manager halted production of sandwiches for customers who showed up at the store for 30 minutes while they completed Fax Orders. I think it's ridiculous to put Fax orders ahead of customers who actually take the time to walk in to your store. The manager said something about "sorry, it was a large order." It took me 45 minutes to get my sandwich and get out of there. Next time, we're going to Blimpies -- everyone in line was angry.

I recently purchased a cd from Growing Rich with Google for just the shipping and handling price of $1.95 and within the last few days I've seen two charges on my checking account which I did not make. One came from Growing Rich with Google and another from Network Agenda. I never even heard of Network Agenda until after I saw that charge on my account. I tried speaking with one of the customer reps but she was too busy trying to sell me something else to listen to my problems.

I called myself reading the fine print but saw nothing of Network Agenda or anything else that would be taking money from me.
