This crook is not returning my HD custom parts, he had them for four months. His phone will not allow for incoming calls and the Santa Fe Springs police department told me that they found out that he moved without forwarding address, somewhere in Orange County.

I live in northern California and it is hard for me to track him down, but I will! These parts are all custom and cost a fortune. Do yourself a favor, do not do business with this guy PAT, he should be on Americas most wanted!

Advanta arbitrarily increased an existing account interest rate which was started by a promotional invitation. The account was in good standing even tho the promotional rate expired, it was being paid down with no incidences. They said they sent a change of terms letter which was never received.

First notice of this was on a statement which I called on immediately. No customer service rep was able to satisfy the request to withdraw the increase even tho they saw there was nothing wrong with the account. One rep suggested I opt out of the account, have it closed and continue to pay off the balance at the old terms. He closed the account, but they refused to allow me to opt out and continue to charge me these egregious interest rates even tho I am still paying on the account. The interest charges are more than I charge on the account and since it is closed have not made any new charges.

In fact, there were very few new charges on this account to keep the balance manageable for payment on a timely basis. I take great efforts to pay my bills on time and honor my credit commitments. However, this is totally unfair and pushing me to default when I didn't want to do so. Very poor client relations and no contact to work out the terms whatsoever after repeated efforts on my part to contact them. They continue to ignore and charge rates I refute and totally disagree with and do not want to pay.

I sent them a letter FAXED the day the account was supposedly closed to ask for a settlement amount which they didn't give so I gave them the amount expecting there would be some interest to settle, but now don't want to pay them at all any interest due to their poor business manners.

The company needs to be reprimanded and consumers made aware of their habits which I see from all the [redacted]s already online.

My husband purchased at best buy online a window unit with heat and air only a few months ago and it melted the cover. We paid over 800.00 for something defective. I spoke with the manufacturer and best buy and continue to get the run around. No one can tell us where the replacement is or when to expect it. we are cold in our home with temperatures in the 30's and need this replaced. The manufacturer tells us we need to talk to best buy and they tell us to call the manufacturer back. No one can answer our questions. When you ask for a district manager of corporate number to complain you get the run around on that too. I am really upset. We should be compensated in some way for all our trouble.

Still waiting for refund on incomplete order dating back to February 08. They had no problem charging my account on day after order. Take your money and burn it or better yet donate it to a charity and it will be more wisely used. There are other companies that have similar merchandise and will provide service you can rely on.

I was under the impression that I was purchasing a product. Instead, this website is charging you just for membership to their site, which gives you links to other pharmacy websites... so in otherwords, a scam!

I tried to contact the company through emails, but every email address I use is returned to sender. I tried to submit a refund through the site, but everytime I get an error message.
In the summer of 1999 I won a free 1 week membership to Bally Total Fitness. I went to Bally's in Altamonte Springs, FL with a guest (who was also free) for the 1 week trial. After that week I never returned. A few months later I started getting phone calls and letters from Bally's regarding past due membership fees. I explained to them that I did not have a membership and I was not paying any fees. The calls stopped but the letters did not. Then I got a letter from a collection agency that stated I owed Bally's a full year membership in the amount of $1440. $1440? For a year membership that I didn't even have? Are they insane? So I contacted the collection agency, completely outraged that they were charging me for a contract when I didn't have one and for $1440! The collection agency told me they would investigate. I didn't hear from them for several months. Then I started receiving more letters from another collection agency... and this time the collection was listed on my credit report. I was furious. I contacted Bally's and the new collection agency and both companies gave me the run-around, basically telling me there was nothing they could do and that I should just pay the $1440. Now 9 yrs later I am still getting letters from collection agencies for this money.

I will never pay them a dime.
I booked a cruise with CHEAPTICKETS and have been ripped off! I booked during a promo with $100 promised on a balcony cabin and I am NOT getting what i was promised! I have tried numerous times to find out where my on board ship credit is and when it is coming only to find out that my cruise for next week will be a sinker due to the fraudulent misrepresentation of CHEAPTICKETS!
I made an appointment to purchase four studded winter tires and to have them studded, mounted and balanced. The work was performed on December 9, 2007. When the work was finished the paperwork was completed and I wrote a check from an Equity Line of Credit.

This Equity Line is hardly used and has a minimum balance on it and we do not write checks against this line of credit very often. The check was 'called in' to a company called CERTEGY. Certegy refused the check because the check met one of their 'risk models'. I explained that I own my home outright and that I had an ample balance on my equity credit line! I was forced to use a credit card at the time of sale, thus paying interest (equity interest is a deduction with zero percent interest). I will admit that I became extremely angry at the situation BUT will never step foot in VIP again. I called CERTEGY when I came home and they stood by their decision.
Took money over paypal for a pair of tickets sold on Ebay. Paypal reversed out the payment 4 days later because the buyer had no money in his account. Nice, nothing safe or secure about paypal for the seller. Why would I ever use paypal, I don't need to pay money to a company so I can get ripped off.

DON'T USE PAYPAL!

My husband and I were thinking of buying a house. We decided that we wanted to check our own credit to see where we stood credit wise. We did the Free Credit Report from freecreditreport.com and to our amazement this credit report was not free at all. They ask for a credit card and when it was given they charged us for this so called free credit report. My husband called to cancel the account and all charges he was told it had been done. However the charges keep coming. We called and called and called. Canceling over and over again. Well I just got off the phone with them of the 1000 time. They said that he couldn't cancel my account with them even if he knew the correct info and we were married (LOL and vice versa) and that they would not be reimbursing anything to our bank account that they had charged us for the past year! They had no record of us ever calling them! BS.

Hope this gets resolved soon. Don't fall in to the same trap I did!

Filled out info to order credit score report for $1.00. As far as I know I did not sign up for how to boost my credit rating. It is now excellent and would have no use for this. My credit card was charged $11.95 and I believe this is a monthly charge. Did not get any info how to opt out of program. An 800 is provided but is a recording and gets me nowhere. The 800 number comes back to Nevada. Filed a BBB complaint and found the co is located in Wichita, ks. Fortunately, my credit card co agreed to credit my account for $11.95. I was informed if the charge appears on my next statement to contact them and they will again credit. Maybe if the charges are sent back often enough they will get the hint. COMPLETE RIPOFF!

This report is simple really. I ordered a product from this company and when It showed up it did not work. The product said Made in Japan on one side and on the other side was a sticker that said Made in China. There was no invoice or packing slip in the package as it was received. The return policy of the company requires a packing slip. The product was cheap, flimsy and did not work.

This isn't necessarily a tale of a company ripping a consumer off, but it is a tale of apathy and disloyalty. I'm simply offering the following as advice to you should you find yourself contemplating a choice between Wells Fargo or another company for handling of your mortgage. Long winded, not very exciting story follows: When my ex-husband and I got married, we purchased a little 55k house in the City of Pittsburgh. His job was to make sure the bills were paid every month, and mine was to make sure the mortgage was paid. Which I did religiously, never missing a payment, nor was a payment ever late.

Somewhere along the line, my ex-husband developed an aversion to working, and I thus filed for divorce. While waiting for the final divorce papers, my mother and I began to receive many threatening calls from companies after my ex-husband. Multiple court summons were being sent to the house in his name. Speaking with one company (who had my mother crying, by the way, with threats to her since my ex-husband wouldn't talk to them) the representative told me they are ‘coming after the house'. I told him that such is not going to happen, because as part of the divorce, the house is going to become mine, not my ex-husbands. He said I had better ‘hurry up' because they had filed against him (my ex-husband) in county court. I knew the threats of court were real, as I had seen the many summons notices sent to the house in his name.

I finally got my final divorce papers, and immediately called Wells Fargo, who had been my mortgage company for the six years that I owned the house. You see, I couldn't remove my ex-husband from the mortgage until I received the final papers. I told Wells Fargo that I wanted to remortgage in my name only, explaining the divorce. Initially all seemed well, but then the Wells Fargo representative told me that it ‘couldn't be done'. And that he was sorry, but they cannot help me because of my ‘bad credit'. Now my credit was not the best, but it certainly wasn't bad! He wished me luck before he disconnected the call.

I then logged online and viewed a copy of my credit report. I was shocked to see my irresponsible ex-husband's handiwork – among a few other things was a joint retail account had been ‘charged off as bad debt', and there was a $10, 000 loan that I had cosigned on for him that he hadn't made a payment on in over a year.

I called Wells Fargo back and argued that I was unaware of these blemishes on my credit, and that I would take care of them . . but how can they deny me when I never missed a payment to them in six years? The representative agreed that I had never even had a late payment in all that time and that my payment record with them was flawless. The representative said he hoped everything worked out for me before he disconnected the call.

I scrambled and was eventually forced to sign an 11.5% mortgage with a company called HomEq. Once again, I'm not saying Wells Fargo did anything wrong – companies don't have to be faithful and understanding. I'm just presenting my story for you to keep in mind should you have a choice between them and another mortgage company down the road.
I found the add for this product on Facebook, and thought I'd give it a try. 14 day free trial, how can you go wrong. I read the fine print which stated that the trial period would start once the product was shipped, it also lead you to believe that it would ship the next day. I should have been suspicious when there was no confirmation e-mail sent, to thank me for my order, and give complete order details. One thing was for sure... they took the shipping and handling right away.

The real kicker here, is that it took 12 days for me to even receive the product which, gives me in all actuality a 2 day trial period... I blew my top 7 days prior feeling gypped and suckered big time. I spent hours calling that bogus 866 # which kept hanging up two seconds after it would connect. I called information to have them check the line. I tried going through toll free directory assistance with no luck.

Ive called almost every 15 mins today with no avail. The phone would ring...they would say this call is important to us... and your call will be answered in the order it was received... then instead of music I get the message that the office is closed and to please call back during regular business hours mon-fri 9-6... the message would repeat, then hang up.

On top of it all, I used my bank card (stupid me) and now I have to file a grievance, in order to keep this company from draining my account. Which I had to do earlier this year because of a virus scam. This company has mead me fell like a big sucker... Do not let it happen to you!

My last ditch attemt lead me here, I googled the phone # to find out its bogus... There should be a law against this types of companies... If you see the add for Total Cleanse, run... run as fast as you can from these rip-off artist...
Just wanted to say that this company charged my account an unauthorized debt. I never authorized it and have never been on their site. I don't know where these charges came from and I hope they are not in the habit of stealing money out of peoples account.

I disputed it through my bank and I hope there will not be any other charges, if so then I will have to take further action.

Camera Addict will advertise a lower price on just about any electronic item out there. BUT they are actually selling you the 'import' item, not the one sold in the United States. I found this out after a talk with them. I also explained to them that their methods were deceptive. They replied that they have done nothing wrong.

Please pass the word about this company and stay away.
I have a lot to say about this store. First No one ever washes there hands unless they know someone is watching. They never throw away expired food unless they know someone higher up is coming in. They change dates on all there food to make it seem good. They drop food on the floor and still use it. They never clean the place, again unless someone is there.

I would really recommend no one eating there. This place is so disgusting, the workers are nasty. A bunch of young kids running the place. If you go there at night you will probably find the workers all outside smoking, then of course when they go into make your food No hands get washed. They are rude to the customers, they will make fun of customers while you are standing right there. They have no respect for anyone. This place should be shut down. The only reason they pass their inspections is because they always come suring the day and the managers usually knows when they are coming. All I can say is if you don't want to get sick eat some place else.

My husband just received a credit card bill. There was a charge from New Liberty Management for $11.89. He checked all his receipts and couldn't find anything close to that amount. Then, I decided to search the Internet about this company and found out that it has been scamming people all over the country. He proceeded to contact the credit card company and reported on the illegitimate item. Thank you for the complaintsboard website!

For background purposes, I have been using Wachovia's online banking service, simply because I'm not dealing with large amounts of money, and thus a multitude of transactions.

Well, as of yesterday, I overdrew my account, and there is no question of that. I knew that I had. This transaction was for $12.33 and was listed with other holds. However, this transaction appeared BELOW an earlier transaction, so when the holds were subtracted in sequence from the posted balance, the $12.33 would send me into insufficient funds EARLY. Let me stress that this chronological error has since been fixed, and each hold is in proper sequence regarding date and time on the website, but the fee has already been applied, and that is the reason for my complaint. To better explain this, here is some information from my account's current state:

The last transaction before the $70 overdraft fee was for $2.13 and left me with $6.93, also leaving three transactions as holds. These transactions, as stated before, are NOW in the proper order, and they are $1.32, $4.10, and $12.33, leaving me with $5.61, $1.51, and ($10.82), respectively.

If the holds were NOW subtracted in this CORRECT order, only the last transaction would send me over. However, due to the fact that the $4.10 purchase appeared AFTER (or ABOVE) the $12.33 purchase (despite being nearly 13 hours apart), I was charged a $70 fee as a result?

If anyone can explain how this is acceptable, I welcome your response. However, I find it wholly impossible as well as unacceptable. If I actually cared enough to complain directly to my bank, I would, but it's probably useless. I just don't see how they can arrange transactions in whatever order they desire and make me pay EXTRA for it (not to mention fix the ordering error afterward).

First Option Credit took $99.95 out of my checking account, without my knowledge. Have no phone number to attempt to contact and trying to work with my bank, but with no way to contact, they cannot do anything. I need help finding number...

I received a email saying that USA Credit could restore my bruised credit rating So I contacted them and after talking said no thanks but stupidly have already given them my bank info. About five days later I saw a charge pending on my checking account for $195, 00 so I called them and told them that the charge would be returned by my bank for NSF and they said OK but we cabprovide you will all the same services for just 69.95 and I said no thank you. So yesterday I saw a pending charge for $69.95 I called my bank and reported the charge as internet fraud they said it will take 3 to 4 weeks to resolve the problem.

I canceled my phone service with Sprint PCS due to poor service in my calling area. The fee for canceling my contract (which had only 3 months left on it) was $150 per phone. We had 2 phones. (I was under the impression it was $150 to cancel.) I got the bill for $300 and paid the fee over a period of 3 1/2 months. This was around April 2007 or so. When I made the last payment I called Sprint because they were adding late charges to my statement. The woman I spoke w/agreed to remove the late fees. I did not feel I should have to pay exuberant late fees for canceling the service when I was canceling it because they were not providing the service I was paying for. A cancellation fee being late? Anyway, I don't remember how long after that conversation but probably a month or two later I got a phone call at work regarding an outstanding amount on my account. I explained the situation and the gentleman said he seen where it was to be taken off. About a month later I got another call at work and explained again. The gentleman said he seen what I was talking about and it would be removed. I told him I would appreciate it as I didn't owe it and didn't want them calling me at work.

Months later I get a letter dated May 13, 2008 from AlliedInterstate that they were attempting to collect a debt of $83.10 on behalf of Sprint PCS. I called them the very next day and spoke with Patricia. The letter stated I had to notify them within 30 days that I dispute the validity of the debt. I explained the situation and she told me to fax a letter disputing and explaining. I faxed a letter that day, May 21, 2008.

I had heard nothing so called AlliedInterstate back on July 14, 2008. The woman was rude & all she would tell me was that they had my letter and that 'nothing had been done with it. It was just recorded that a dispute has been received.' I immediately phoned Sprint and spoke w/David. He claims they told me that Sprint did 'write it off'... 'for collection' and they would not budge on it.

I spoken w/three different people at Sprint and each told me it would be taken off and my account cleared. They turn me in to an agency that is as incompetent as they are. As of October 28, 2008 I have still not heard from AlliedInterstate regarding the dispute, nor from Sprint.

Since all this, my sister-in-law and other people I know were let out of their contracts free of charge due to poor service. If only I'd have waited a little longer... I'd have saved $300 and not had this craziness going on over $83 in late fees.

My advise to anyone researching a new cell phone service is to steer clear of Sprint PCS.

Unfortunately I got ripped off by the 'Free' Trial of Total Cleanse. I did order the free trial, but then when trying to cancel any further shipments, I could never get through to customer service. Either a busy signal remained or the call was lost.

Now I am canceling my bank card and reporting this scam to the Better Business Bureau. What a hassle! I have learned my lesson--Free trials online are never free!
I received a telephone call on my cell phone, the automated system stated this was my last warning and that after today I would not have this opportunity to lower my interest rat on my Credit Card. I pressed1 and the phone rang and the phone was answered by Douglas from Credit Services and he went into his speech about how he was going to lower my Credit Card interest rates to almost 0%. He asked if I had more than $2000 in credit Card Debt. I stated yes and asked him how he obtained my name, he stated from the credit card company and asked me how much I had in Credit Card Debt, I asked him which Credit Card, he stated all of them.

I asked which one specifically and he listed all of the Credit Card companies, AMEX, VISA MAster Card, Discovery, etc... I asked him his company name and where he waslocated, he stated Florida I stated Florida is a large state and then he stated the Orlando area.

I asked for his specific address and he immediately hung up.
Samsung's 'wall mounting brackets' for flat screen TVs rebate offer is a fraud. They responded to me claiming that I never sent to them the original UPC label from the box. I am certain I did, and it is a shame that they must lower themselves to this scam. I resent them a copy of every thing that I had originally sent to them; I will be surprised if they reply back.
