My wife and I stayed at this Hotel Sept. 2025, celebrating an anniversay. The hotel appeared clean until we realized we were bitten over 100 times by bedbugs. We have photos of the bugs, took a bug to the manager and phots of our bites. We followed their process for complaints and were promised a full refund and an additional $300 pounds to cover cleaning and disinfecting our luggage and clothing. The rfund came through but we continued to be put off since then with their saying they could not wire the money to our bank in the U.S. We suggested other payment options such as paypal etc. and were told they only did wire transfer. Essentially we agreed to what was fair and they lied and breached their promise, presumably because we are in the United States.
Recommendation: If you live outside the U.K., especially U.S. residents, do not accept agreements from them. Once you leave the country they claim they can only pay by wire and then claim your bank will not accept their wire. Delay, delay, deny, and breach of agreement.
