Precision Aluminum and Remodeling

On February 24th, I reached out to Precision Aluminum for a new screen and frame. They asked for a $200 down payment, which I paid. They informed me that the work would commence in 2 weeks. I patiently waited for them to start, but unfortunately, nothing happened. Frustrated, I decided to cancel the project. When I informed them about my decision, they assured me that my check would be returned on Thursday. However, to my disappointment, nothing happened. I called them again, and this time they promised it would be on Friday. Yet again, nothing came through. On Monday, I called once more, only to be told that I had waited too long to cancel. I'm not sure what they consider "too long," but now they refuse to refund my deposit. It's disheartening to see a veteran-owned company treat people, especially seniors and veterans like myself, in such a manner.
