I am on a flight from Montreal to Toronto.
Flight 112
10:00 AM departure.
Sitting in aisle 13C is a emergency exit aisle.
The attendant proceeded to give instructions in case of an emegency.
Because I did not look at the individual, they shouted sir sir to make me look at them. I was hearing the perfectly well.
When the attendant was giving safety instructions they told me to take my ear piece out of my ear, my ear piece hear through, I explained I can hear perfectly fine.
I asked the attendant what is his problem with me. The response was if you do not take it out I will dock the plane, indicating they will not let the plane leave.
Interesting that they did not pursue me taking both out. As well, I had them in when they were giving instructions on the emgency exit.
This attendant purely is on a power trip and attitude needs to be addressed.
The past 10 years I have travelled over the world and domestic. This is my second flight on Porter airlines. I was impressed with the first flight, however this flighy did not start well.
Name of the attendant was not disclosed to me. Interesting enough when ask another attendant for the attendant's name I was told they were not able to disclose and I can file a formal complaint.
The person is Asian and I believe LGBTQ.
I will see if I get a response to this complaint.
Recommendation: We are paying customers and the attendants mst treat people as such. need to treat people as customers
