This company as a whole does not care about the people they advertise for. All of the fine print to try to cancel an account is ridiculous. That 12 month commitment turns into 15 months before you realize it. Just found out today while trying to get it resolves that I could have cancelled for free but guess what I missed the deadline because I was never notified about this. So now ! have to pay the annual fee AGAIN even though I had already paid for the year I had been apart of. If I signed up for 1 year why the hell am I having to pay to cancel my account with you. Why am I having to pay ANOTHER annual fee when my year had already passed. There was no auto renew option that I had opted in for so how are you still getting my money. This company is the worst but man they are the best at bleeding their costumers dry with there shifty practices, fine print and purposefully with holding information.

It has been years of emails and phone calls, complaining to the manager about the aircon never working. Emails come back issue sorted( What is sorted?) We are in a heat wave and I can not afford to pass out in a gym ! We need to be cool, not passing out in a heat exhaustion.

The manager said to me that she is busy ordering more fans not fixing the aircon.

There is know 3 fans on the top floor for what to blow the hot air around, this is a health and safety risk. It is so hot there it is a breading ground for gems. It can not go on like this.

I have not been back to gym since last week I can not do this heat and nobody at Planet fitness is doing anything about the issue.

I joined Planet Fitness as a BLACK CARD member a little over a year ago. I thought it nice to have the perks, especially tanning. I have been tanning in their beds and not once in one year have I seen any type of maintenance on this machines. The inside where the lights are, are filled with dust and goop, every single one of them. They emit very little heat. Tanning bed 1 does not even have a bulb in the middle face tanner but there are bulbs in the other side face tanners. I have scanned the QR codes and reported the issues to no avail. I have mentions to the staff that they should maybe get someone out to clean the tanning beds where the lights are. They go unanswered. At this point I am fed up with the laziness of the owners and lack of care for their equipment. Its even an inside joke that the staff made up where Enfield, Ct is where all the other Planet Fitmess’ dump their dying equipment. I PAY FULL PRICE JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHER PLANET FITNESS BLACK CARD MEMBERS. They are so cheap they don’t even have the body contour machine.

Yesterday November 16th, 2023 I was in the ABD section, there was a young man on the phone the whole time as he went from machine to machine without wiping them down. Since it hard for me to describe people, I took a picture of him and told the girl working the desk, She said she knew who I was talking about.

There are signs in the facility to only use your cell phone in the lobby and to wipe down after each use of the machine.

When my husband and I were leaving, so was this young man, I looked at the girl at the desk and said that's him, are you going to talk to him, she said No.

So I said I to the guy and immediately knew he did not speak or read English.

Planet fitness does not have signs up in Spanish even tho over half of Californians speak Spanish.

My Real compliant is when I got home I received a call from Billy I guess the manger at Planet Fitness, telling me "pictures are not allowed and this is my Final Warning" and if I do it again I will have my membership revoked.

As you can see I was not happy, my intentions was to point out an infraction of the rules of PF, because their Employees don't check the areas to make sure all is well for all members. I was also very upset I was threatened with "Final Warning". I told Billy, Final Warning is given after someone has been warned multiple times, not the first.

I would like someone to Speak to these Individuals Izzy and Billy at the Escondido CA site. I do expect an Apology for being spoken to as if I was the Offender, when Izzy refused to speak to the young man when she had the opportunity. Izzy does not do her job well and many have to wait at the desk for her return to use the Spa Room. Maybe they need more then one person working the mornings.

I called the phone number [protected], listed on your website as “Planet Fitness customer service contacts”. The number belongs to and/or routes to a private individual, not Planet Fitness.

I need a phone number that will connect me DIRECTLY toa representative that can directly assist me with a matter regarding a billing charge.

Incident: Wednesday 10/18/2023 around 9:30a pst

I’ve enjoyed coming to planet Fitness (Otay Ranch) for years now, but I have to say the maintenance has been on the decline for awhile. A lot of times there’s no paper at the closest station to wipe down the equipment. The restrooms are gross and usually have an unattended bathroom smell.

Today, I was washing my hands and face at the sink and the maintenance guy with the ear plugs approached me in a threatening manner, accusing me for water all over the sink. Nope! That was there long before I even walked in. I found this behavior absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. Nobody should be singled out, accused, embarrassed, and approached in a threatening manner. It makes me question why should I continue to be a member?

I’ve been discriminated against by one of the employees that works in this location. He’s there on the weekends. His name is Antonio every time I come into the club, especially in the weekends when I’m there. This person is always staring me with so much hatred in his eyes, and he makes all this ugly faces. Every time I check into the club, or when I’m working out which to me, I don’t feel welcome there even though I am a paying Customer whit the black card

I’m a trans woman l don’t know if that is the reason why this person behave this way tours my self but I’m sick & tire of his behavior it is rude is disgusting and I should not feel this way when I come to do my workout and I am not bothering harassing anybody in any way shape or form & this needs to stop you guys need to address this issue like yesterday

I've been a blackcard member in Hot Spring Ar since day 1 that it has been open. Ever year the Hot Water stops working in Oct. I require a shower after I work out so I can head straight to work. The Hot water has been out now for 3 weeks this is completely ridiculous and unacceptable, Staff keeps saying they are working on it... PLEASE CALL A FRECKING PLUMBER,,, YOUR ABOUT TO LOSE A BUNCH OF MEMBERS.. WE ARE FEED UP WITH THIS CRAP.

I have not used my membership for years now. I have called and tried to cancel. I noticed a charge on my account on Oct 2 so I called again. They said I had to come in and sign. Today was my first available time to make it in. Was told that I would not be refunded for the yearly fee and monthly charge for October. That’s ridiculous. I would like you to credit my account for these charges as you should be able too see I haven’t been there.

I am a member of the Hicksville location. I have been a member for a few years now. The gym is supposed to be open 24/7. I went there at 4:45 Monday morning at the gym did not open until 5:05. I went to several gyms while my gym was closed and found the same situation. The reason I joined was the hours as well as the price. I need to be at work at 7:20, so this gyn was perfect for my hours. Several people outside the gym felt the same way. If you are not going to be 24/7 do not advertise that, its false advertising! If it keeps happening I as well as other, may look to go to another gym

I Nadine Cruz was told I needed to submit a letter to canx my membership. I took 3 letters, 3 different times, and was told the last time it was canx but I would have a balance of $54. Then today I am told you never needed to submit a letter to canx by a aero manager who hasn't been that that long. I told him I have been a member longer then him that how would he know what I was told. I also told him to look at the notes and he said there were none other then I went in july. I am very upset with the staff at Planet Fitness on SE Military. I have taken 3 different letters trying to canx my membership and as of today no one has helped me but this new aero mgr who sent me and email telling me it is canx. he also stated I was reported to a collection agency. I canx numerous times and do not feel I owe. This is ridiculous, you can clearly see that I did not go to the gym due to restrictions. thank you Nadine Cruz
