Went on 12/31/24 for exam. Advised them that I was using my job's insurance. Pais $305 and left with $197 balance. I was told that once my insurance is applied, I would receive the amount credited to me. In February I got a text stating that my glasses were finally in. I was told by the manager that she signed me up for a package for uninsured people (I did not ask for that) that was cheaper than using insurance, which makes no sense because what is the point of having insurance. I called and she stated that she would call me back shortly, which turned into 9 days. She was rude and constantly talked over me. I asked for a refund and she declined. I filed a complaint and she called me a few days later, again talking over me and refusing a refund although I have no glasses.I later found out that insurance was billed for my eye exam but not the frames and lenses, which contradicts her saying that she signed me gave me a no insurance package. How can you do both? I believe they are pocketing money by having us pay then billing insurance later. I want my money back!
