My washing machine broke like 2 months ago. The technician said the wires were destroyed and that voided the warranty. That statement is not true. I have pictures of it to prove it. This thing has been going on too long and they just can't fix it. I called the store manager and he can't help me. I called the service department. They did not call back.

PC Richard & Son defective/dangerous merchandise

I purchased an air conditioner from PC Richard in May 2012. This was purchased as medically necessary due to COPD/Asthmatic Bronchitis. I woke up this morning to find the AC off, my circuit tripped, and the plug melted and burned. I called the store and was informed in a very rude and hostile manner that PC Richard NO LONGER backs up the products they sell. I guess that kills their ad campaigns. I will NEVER buy anything from them again.I have been a loyal customer for almost 20 years because I was able to trust them.I will now buy where ever the prices are lower. This AC was almost $500.00 ; not even 4 months use.Flags should have gone up when they tried to sell me insurance for a period that is already covered by the manufacturer ! Buyer beware of their new policy "self preservation even if it means screwing the customer". I smell a bankruptcy in the near future.They no longer have what separated them from the sharks.

Looks like an undervolt condition, you might want to have someone (an electrician would be good) check if you have low voltage on one of the two legs in the house (this does not look like a 220 circuit, but your photo is blurry)

The utility should be able to help if the voltage is low, but if you are running below 110 volts or so, then you will be heating up more than the design and melt the pulg or wire before you trip the breaker. Also, if you have the wrong size breaker on the circuit, well then you are really asking for a problem.

Voltage - It's whre you start. And if the lights dim and you must run the a/c shut everything else off that you can.
