On May 21, 2023, I was trying to reinstall PC Matic. I used CHAT program and explained my need. It said a technician would call me. ANd indeed someone named Martin call me back and he did a great job. But the problem was that at the conclusion, he asked me to pay $202.02 for his service, saying he worked with other technicians, so I had to pay. I was not told it would cost me that much money - I'm living on a fixed income. I had spent almost $200.00 for repair my computer and brought it home to use. Now this $202.02 stuff!
I said to him I can't afford to pay him because I had no idea it would cost me that much money or any money at all. I told him that I was going to shut down my computer permanently. I have had many computers over the past 40 years and I have never experienced this kind of nonsense. He said my IP address 74.46.253.229 has been used by 11 persons not related to me or known to me. So he had to work with ip address specialists to resolve the problem. Please see to it that PC Matic will never take advantage of retirees this way. I'm very pissed off!
been charged twice now and not able to talk to anyone about problem. I don't need this kind of problem for a protection program when I can't even speak to a technician to solve. PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY !

I am a paid lifetime member of PC Matic for many years and very satisfied with its services thus far. However, recently the company changed and is now trying to change me monthly fees for services that I paid for as a lifetime member. This isn't right. Current customers should be grandfathered under original agreement. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!
